Daisy Nails and Spa, located on Yonge St. near Kempford (where the closest big intersection is…read moreYonge/Finch), is a popular place in the neighbourhood of Willowdale to get your nails done. They also do spa services such as waxing as well. Do call ahead of time as this nail salon does get busy! They can try to accommodate walk ins but you may have to wait a bit or schedule an appointment another day. I had gotten my nails done at Daisy Nails a few years ago and decided to return for their services. My friend and I opted to go to Daisy Nails and Spa for our manicures (removal and shellac manicure for me, a shellac mani and pedi for my friend) on a Friday afternoon. I called about 3 weeks prior to the appointment as I wanted to make sure we got our manis together or around the same time. The staff were prompt to take my name and number down during the phone call. Day of our appointment, although we arrived on time we still had to wait about 10-15 min for our nail technicians. I probably waited a bit longer. The place was a little over half full and all the nail technicians were busy with other customers. My shellac removal and manicure took almost 1.5 hours long (usually would take me about an hour at another salon, however, I did have to wait a bit in the beginning). My nail technician was attentive and friendly. I had 2 split nails which she was aware of and took care to cover them up. She also listened to how I wanted to shape my nails and made sure I was okay with the length. Manicure wise, she did a great job! My friend was also happy with her mani and pedi services. If you pay cash you don't need to pay tax. They do however, accept credit and debit as well. Overall, good salon around the neighbourhood. It is a popular place so it does get quite busy, best to book an appointment ahead of time, especially on the weekends!

I've been to this nail salon plenty of times and will always be a good choice to get your nails done. I like this spot, they always nail it! ;) They can do versatile nail art and attentive to detail on that. Cons. They don't have the friendliest service and don't listen as much. But if you show them a photo of what you wanna get done, they will do it. Overall, I always leave with nice nails and a happy mood.

I followed those girls on Twitter and they followed back and interacted with me. I privately messaged some of them and they answered any questions and concerns I had. The place is in a good location, it's private, clean, professional and well organized. All the ladies are courteous, funny and don't judge. There are women for all types of men, and any type of fetish is covered. The rates are fair, the girls are never staring at the clock to see if time is up, they take their time providing great massages (and all girls are officially licensed), great body slides and playfulness. My first muse was Dita. She is like the female version of me. Funny, nerdy, sexy, excellent at massaging and body rubbing and got the kink out of my lower back near the tail bone. She is so charming. As someone who was shy and wasn't planning on going to muse more than once, I became addicted to it and it's atmosphere and community. Since that first time I've been over 7 times seeing Alyssa, Dita, Bella, Hunter, Inna and former muses as well. The business is also female owned and operated and the owners are also active with their clients and train well. This is a great spa for all types of clients and I highly recommended visiting it if you're ever passing by Toronto or live in the GTA. It's worth it!

For my haircut, they washed my hair after the cut, and then styled it. I wish more places would do this. It just makes more sense. I didn't have to worry about walking around all day with hair clippings in my shirt, if I didn't have a chance to go home right after. Reasonable prices, quick work and nice personalities. A very decent experience.

I called the salon beforehand to ask for their opening time, but didn't know Sundays are by appointment only, so I unknowingly showed up almost an hour late (oops!), but regardless my hairstylist Ann and her assistant were quite sweet and professional. I'm not sure if there are other stylists working here on weekdays/Saturdays, but on Sunday there seems to be only two people working. Ann works pretty fast and she finished cutting my hair in 10 to 15 minutes, while asking me questions about my hair. Since I'm keeping my natural hair colour right now, Ann made some recommendations about hair colouring for my consideration in the future. Her assistant then washed, blow-dried and styled my hair in the next 15 to 20 minutes. I have shoulder length hair and the whole thing cost $28 not including tip. They accept cash and debit. Although it's a small shop, the salon is very neat and well-kept. I will probably come back for more cuts and maybe colouring!
