A complete amazing experience! Gina the owner was very knowledgeable about my hair type and texture. I was there to have my roots touched up and she matched the color perfectly. Please give Salon 913 a try it will not disappoint read more

I went to Salon 913 today for highlights, toner, and a cut - my first in almost a full year! I showed up about 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was taken in promptly. The salon was spotlessly clean, and super cute. Gina was very easy to talk with which made the 2 hour appointment fly by. I'm so happy with the results! The color came out exactly the way I was hoping for, and Gina was able to give me the long layers I asked for while still keeping my length. I'll definitely return next time I need a cut & highlight! read more

Gina was absolutely wonderful! She not only took us in for an emergency appointment but opened her salon for us on her day off. My daughter decided to take a scissor to her head and on top of that, she created a ginormous dreadlock/matte that was nearly impossible to breakthrough. After trying everything, I was desperate for help! Gina was beyond patient, incredible with my daughter and got us through this process with such ease in 2.5hrs. Most Moms have spent days trying to work through something like this. I thought we would have to cut my daughter's long beautiful hair so short after this nightmare but Gina's intentions from the start was to save it! what a blessing it was to meet her. She did a beautiful trim and blowout to get my baby girl back on track! I highly recommend! read more

**After seeing I wasn't 100% satisfied with my hair cut Gina reached out to me to make things right which I greatly appreciated. It truly shows she cares about her customers.** I found salon 931 from yelp and based on the 5 stars they had I decided to check them out. I've always been the type to just go wherever my mom went to get her hair done and now that I'm older I wanted to find my own go-to hair dresser. I had Rini as my stylist and she was very nice and let me show her photos of what I wanted. She made minimal conversation with me and it felt like she was carrying conversations with everyone else in the room. Her phone rang during my appointment and she answered it to talk to her daughter quickly which I also thought was unprofessional. My hair cut ended up being $40 (the extra five for long hair) which was annoying because my hair wasn't even that long to begin with (about chest length). Overall my first impression of this establishment was that the staff are very nice but in my opinion it's not worth $40 for a haircut when I don't even get that "salon fresh" feeling afterwards. When I leave a salon I expect soft and silky sleek hair but instead I felt like my "blowout" was just to dry my hair and it was very puffy. None the less the hair cut was the length I wanted which is something I usually struggle with when going to other hair dressers. read more

"Easy to make an appointment, reasonable prices, good conversation and great hair cut." You walk in to a big commercial building and to the right of the front desk there is I sign and a door that says Sola salon. After going through those doors you realize there are many little salons and I think it's the second door on the left that you see Salon 913. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this salon on yelp. Reviews are on the money. Easy to make an appointment, reasonable prices, good conversation and great hair cut. I got my haircut with Gina but I'm sure both ladies are great! I workout so I needed my hair to fit into a ponytail but I didn't want to compromise that for flat/dull looking hair. Gina looked at pictures I compiled together, made sure to ask me what length I would like overall and shared with me her opinion on cutting just a bit more because my ends were looking pretty dead. I trusted her judgement and I'm glad I did. I'm very happy with the cut and service. Thanks again Gina! read more

Had my hair cut and blown dry by Gina. She was fantastic! My hair is very damaged and she didn't try to sell me a bunch of products which I greatly appreciated. She made my hair look wonderful and was extremely friendly and the pricing is perfect. Definitely going back for my next cut! read more

Salon 913 - Before and after of my color, cut and blow dry by the wonderful Gina! - Hair Salons Near Me - White Plains, New York

Five stars isn't enough for this amazing salon! I chose Salon 913 per the positive reviews here on yelp and my hair came out better than I could have even imagined! I didn't realize how much of a hot mess my hair was until Gina transformed me! I came in for a cut and a balayage. I was debating whether to get a bodywave too and Gina was super knowledgeable and helped me decide to do the color first and then come back for the bodywave since my hair would have been fried if I did all of those treatments in one day! Gina matched the color I wanted perfectly and both the color and cut came out GORGEOUS! I feel like I've known everyone at the salon for years already, Gina makes you feel instantly comfortable. The prices are so reasonable too, especially for the quality. Can't wait to go back! read more

Salon 913 - Loving my hair! - Hair Salons Near Me - White Plains, New York

Gina was amazing! She asked for my phone number when she received my message so she could text me directly, which was super easy and greatly appreciated. She had an opening earlier than my originally scheduled time so I was able to go in for a cut three days earlier than anticipated and the service was excellent. She knew exactly what to do based on a couple of pictures that I showed her and then helped consult me on highlights to get for my next appointment (she didn't have time to do both today, which was totally fine.) Her space was immaculately clean, with a cute divider to keep clients safe, while adding a decorative touch. Gina was so easy to talk to and we had a great conversation about supporting small businesses during the pandemic. Will definitely be back again for highlights and future cuts/styling. read more

This was my first time trying Salon 913. I was looking for reasonably priced hair cuts for women. I found this gem on Yelp and it's really close by. Gina was my stylist and she goes above and beyond, when scheduling my appointment and making sure I was comfortable with my hair cut. This salon is very friendly and definitely makes you feel welcome. They have just gained a new loyal customer, and I would recommend this salon to who ever lives in the area of White Plains. read more

Salon 913 is your girls club away from all the stress in the world. Rini and Gina truly make you feel comfortable and like friends just catching up. I came here for the first time for a body wave. I've never had one and Rini communicated well from the beginning with me. Right away, I was taken and my hair was attended too. The process was a little lengthy but, I was never bored. The girls kept me entertained the entire time. In the end my hair came out exactly the way I imagined. Rini was a pleasure to work with, as she is easy to talk to and answers all questions possible! I'm so excited I found Salon 913 as it's pretty difficult for me to trust someone with my hair. I would recommend Salon 913 over and over and I would definitely visit them again. read more

First visit...I wish Gina would've taken a picture of the amazing blow out she did for me. Kitty for Halloween and asked for lots of volume. Everywhere I went compliments, I mean everywhere. Walking to my car, errands, from strangers and friends. It was for Halloween but I will return and ask her for the same blowout. :) I've never had that response to a blow out in 47 years. I'm a fan! Will return and refer. Great ladies! read more

All I can say folks is Gina did it again. She is Simply Amazing at her craft which is doing hair. I met her a year ago and she did a hairdo for a wedding. This year I'm back for another wedding and was in dire need of cut color pretty much the works. My hair is not easy to do, as it's very thick, curly , long and course. My color is fabulous the cut is amazing this girl is Jewel. We had the next day scheduled for an updo which came out absolutely beautiful. Thank you Gina with all my heart you are the best read more

Got tape in hair extensions installed by Gina. Sweet, professional, quick, fair prices. No bullshit and no pressure-I like!

My teen daughter didn't get her hair cut for almost a full year due to bad experiences with weird outcomes for her long, thick hair. We decided to try Salon 913 based on so many reviewers commenting on how well the staff here listened and delivered on what the client actually wanted. Gina did not disappoint! She was so welcoming, fit us in on short notice, and gave my daughter a beautiful cut -- just the way she wanted it. The blow-out looked great, too. We'll be back! read more

Based on the reviews, I had Gina cut and color my hair. She was helpful with her ideas, because I was going from blonde to brown for the fall. Prices are good and her schedule is easy to work with. I will be going back. Thanks Gina! read more

Wow! Gina and Rini's dream come true! Easy in and out, no drama, just lovely calm and pretty space in the heart of White Plains. Right off Hamilton, one can pull into the Burlington parking lot, and take the elevator right to the Salon. Second from the door! Hair correction has been my bliss with Gina, and most importantly the respect and appointments make it a pleasure to be there. Consider it your go to spot, privacy and girlfriend time. Awesome awesome. Claudia. Xoxoxox read more

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my haircut with Rini! I'm new to NY and she made me feel like I was meeting up with an old friend. Their salon is so comfortable with such positive energy! Not to mention, affordable!! Their prices are amazing but their talents are even more amazing! I can't wait to go back. I truly enjoyed this experience and my haircut is so cute! Thank you, Rini! read more

Reviews led me here. Requested appointment through Yelp..they were very fast to respond. Got a haircut only. Lovely ladies...great service and skill at a good price. Would recommend. read more

Found this place via yelp. Made a very last minute appointment but Rini was able to take me for a cut and blow dry. She did an awesome job! Did a great job at giving me exactly what I wanted/needed (long layers... with the shortest layer still being pretty long... wavy/thick hair ladies know why this is important). Loved the way my hair came out. Rini was also very friendly and personable- I felt like I was talking to a friend I'd known for years! Prices are very reasonable and the location is great. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Rini! read more

I have not visited this salon, but I had an excellent experience communicating with Gina about getting my hair and makeup done at Salon 913 prior to a wedding. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because the salon wound up being really far from where I needed to be. However, I was in communication with Gina for about a month. She was very prompt in replying to my texts, and even returned a phone call to me at 10:30pm (when I said it was OK to call that late). The prices she quoted were very reasonable. When I asked if she had a makeup person she could recommend, she had 3 that would come to the salon to do my makeup, also at very reasonable prices. Gina took it upon herself to handle all the scheduling for me. I am really disappointed that I'm not getting to meet her and have her be my hairstylist for the occasion. read more

I am very particular about who cuts my hair and haven't switched up my hair stylist in years. I came across Salon 913 via yelp and with the amazing reviews they received, I thought I would check it out. From the start, this place is amazing. I've never been in the building where the salon is located but its super clean and a very cool concept. After finding Salon 913, Rini greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel at home and like we have been coming for years. Rini and Gina have such a great relationship and are hysterical to listen to which makes your time so much more enjoyable! Rini did an amazing job and really listens to what you want. I will definitely be coming back here for my hair needs, and you should too! read more

Great cut! I picked this salon because of the positive Yelp reviews, and was very glad I did! Rini was fast, friendly and affordable. The salon is clean and cozy. It is inside Sola Salon Studios, where there are several small, individual salons along the same corridor. Park at the Walmart/Burlington garage, and you can get your shopping done and parking validated at Walmart. read more

Found this place on Yelp. Was looking for somewhere well reviewed that was closer to White Plains than my current (now former!) hairdresser. First I'd l'd like to say that I really like the whole concept of not just Salon 913 but the building itself, giving people the opportunity to start their own business. Me likey. More importantly though, Rini (Maria) was so nice. We talked the entire time I was there and it felt like we had known each other for years. I asked her some questions about things I MAY want to do and things I DEFINITELY wanted to do going forward. Rini talked me out of one process and solidified my desire for the other. She is friendly, knowledgable and talented. My cut is exactly what I wanted and the root job is a dead-on match. Thanks Rini! Look forward to seeing you again! read more

Unlike others I didn't have a good experience here. I made the appointment to get hair cut only - no wash and no blow-dry because I was going to the gym right afterwards. I had very long hair and asked for a layered hair cut (Rachel from Friends) thinking it would look beautiful. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and seeing the horrified look on my husband's face. My long beautiful hair was blazed through the middle with no layering what so ever. It was extremely chunky and flat. Though Gina was very friendly and courteous I definitely won't be able to recommend her to anyone and sadly I won't be going back. read more

Found them on Yelp! Gina did my hair today (highlight and trim) and I absolutely love it. I've been searching for somewhere well priced with great results and I finally found it. Fun atmosphere! Will be going back! read more

WOW! I have been with the same hair stylist for years but the prices became too high. I found Salon 913 based upon the amazing review, boy did they live up to them and then some! Today I went for my first time, definitely not my last! Gina made an appointment with me as soon as I wanted it, she matched my color and improved upon it without ever seeing me before! I also had a keratin treatment, I was worried it would be awkward but Gina and Rini and I had so much fun, like being with old friends! I felt like I knew them forever and I felt like Gina had been doing my hair forever!! It is not a glitzy salon with bells and whistles, just two very talented women! I plan to switch to them permanently and I highly recommend them!!! read more

If I could give Gina and Maria 6 stars, I would. I cannot say enough good things about them. Gina and Maria did the hair for my wedding for me (the bride), my 7 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, my grandmother, and my aunt. Not only did everyone love their hair, but Gina and Maria made the day so much fun. As a former bride, I now recognize how important it is to love whomever you hire to do your hair because you and your bridal party spend a lot of time with them during the day. Gina and Maria make a great team- they were efficient and did tremendous up-dos and curls and half-up hairstyles for everyone. I highly recommend them for any wedding or event- I'll be using them many times in the years to come! read more

If you are reading this review...don't waste time...just call and make an appointment! I e-mailed Gina this morning (Memorial Day Holiday) and within 15 minutes I had a response and an appointment for a Keratin treatment! My hair went from frizzy curly to smooth and straight! Not only was the service awesome...but the place felt more like being at home than being in a salon. Awesome find! So grateful to have found Gina! read more

Gina and Maria are professional, friendly and their Salon is beautiful. They also have plenty of free candy! A++=

Upon reading the reviews on Yelp, I was immediately drawn to this local salon. There was some confusion between the partners regarding my booking but eventually it was put right. I have shoulder length curly hair. I asked for 2 inches off & long layers. Once this was done I wanted it blow dried straight. The cut was rushed, pretty mediocre & the blow dry was awful. My hair was frizzy and curly around the hairline. My husband has his haircut there too ( a previously booked appt). Rini mentioned that the blow dry wasn't good for my hair, but she was rushing for another client!!? First impressions!!! Anyway my husband is a far kinder critic than I, as such he gave Rini a second chance after he wasn't that happy with his first haircut. Sadly it was worse... long bits left around his hairline & ears. The neckline was crocked too. We will not be coming back here. read more
