I went to Salon 913 today for highlights, toner, and a cut - my first in almost a full year! I showed up about 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was taken in promptly. The salon was spotlessly clean, and super cute. Gina was very easy to talk with which made the 2 hour appointment fly by. I'm so happy with the results! The color came out exactly the way I was hoping for, and Gina was able to give me the long layers I asked for while still keeping my length. Gina was absolutely wonderful! She not only took us in for an emergency appointment but opened her salon for us on her day off. My daughter decided to take a scissor to her head and on top of that, she created a ginormous dreadlock/matte that was nearly impossible to breakthrough. After trying everything, I was desperate for help! Gina was beyond patient, incredible with my daughter and got us through this process with such ease in 2.5hrs. Most Moms have spent days trying to work through something like this. I thought we would have to cut my daughter's long beautiful hair so short after this nightmare but Gina's intentions from the start was to save it! what a blessing it was to meet her. **After seeing I wasn't 100% satisfied with my hair cut Gina reached out to me to make things right which I greatly appreciated. It truly shows she cares about her customers.** I found salon 931 from yelp and based on the 5 stars they had I decided to check them out. I've always been the type to just go wherever my mom went to get her hair done and now that I'm older I wanted to find my own go-to hair dresser. I had Rini as my stylist and she was very nice and let me show her photos of what I wanted. She made minimal conversation with me and it felt like she was carrying conversations with everyone else in the room. Her phone rang during my appointment and she answered it to talk to her daughter quickly which I also thought was unprofessional. My hair cut ended up being $40 (the extra five for long hair) which was annoying because my hair wasn't even that long to begin with (about chest length). Overall my first impression of this establishment was that the staff are very nice but in my opinion it's not worth $40 for a haircut when I don't even get that "salon fresh" feeling afterwards. When I leave a salon I expect soft and silky sleek hair but instead I felt like my "blowout" was just to dry my hair and it was very puffy. None the less the hair cut was the length I wanted which is something I usually struggle with when going to other hair dressers. read more

After going through those doors you realize there are many little salons and I think it's the second door on the left that you see Salon 913. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this salon on yelp. Reviews are on the money. Easy to make an appointment, reasonable prices, good conversation and great hair cut. I got my haircut with Gina but I'm sure both ladies are great! I workout so I needed my hair to fit into a ponytail but I didn't want to compromise that for flat/dull looking hair. Gina was amazing! She asked for my phone number when she received my message so she could text me directly, which was super easy and greatly appreciated. She had an opening earlier than my originally scheduled time so I was able to go in for a cut three days earlier than anticipated and the service was excellent. She knew exactly what to do based on a couple of pictures that I showed her and then helped consult me on highlights to get for my next appointment (she didn't have time to do both today, which was totally fine.) Her space was immaculately clean, with a cute divider to keep clients safe, while adding a decorative touch. Salon 913 is your girls club away from all the stress in the world. Rini and Gina truly make you feel comfortable and like friends just catching up. I came here for the first time for a body wave. I've never had one and Rini communicated well from the beginning with me. Right away, I was taken and my hair was attended too. The process was a little lengthy but, I was never bored. The girls kept me entertained the entire time. In the end my hair came out exactly the way I imagined. Rini was a pleasure to work with, as she is easy to talk to and answers all questions possible! First visit...I wish Gina would've taken a picture of the amazing blow out she did for me. Kitty for Halloween and asked for lots of volume. Everywhere I went compliments, I mean everywhere. This year I'm back for another wedding and was in dire need of cut color pretty much the works. My hair is not easy to do, as it's very thick, curly , long and course. Found this place via yelp. Made a very last minute appointment but Rini was able to take me for a cut and blow dry. She did an awesome job! Did a great job at giving me exactly what I wanted/needed (long layers... with the shortest layer still being pretty long... wavy/thick hair ladies know why this is important). I have not visited this salon, but I had an excellent experience communicating with Gina about getting my hair and makeup done at Salon 913 prior to a wedding. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because the salon wound up being really far from where I needed to be. However, I was in communication with Gina for about a month. She was very prompt in replying to my texts, and even returned a phone call to me at 10:30pm (when I said it was OK to call that late). The prices she quoted were very reasonable. When I asked if she had a makeup person she could recommend, she had 3 that would come to the salon to do my makeup, also at very reasonable prices. Gina took it upon herself to handle all the scheduling for me. I am really disappointed that I'm not getting to meet her and have her be my hairstylist for the occasion. read more

I came across Salon 913 via yelp and with the amazing reviews they received, I thought I would check it out. From the start, this place is amazing. I've never been in the building where the salon is located but its super clean and a very cool concept. After finding Salon 913, Rini greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel at home and like we have been coming for years. First I'd l'd like to say that I really like the whole concept of not just Salon 913 but the building itself, giving people the opportunity to start their own business. Me likey. Unlike others I didn't have a good experience here. I made the appointment to get hair cut only - no wash and no blow-dry because I was going to the gym right afterwards. I had very long hair and asked for a layered hair cut (Rachel from Friends) thinking it would look beautiful. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home and seeing the horrified look on my husband's face. My long beautiful hair was blazed through the middle with no layering what so ever. It was extremely chunky and flat. Though Gina was very friendly and courteous I definitely won't be able to recommend her to anyone and sadly I won't be going back. read more

If I could give Gina and Maria 6 stars, I would. I cannot say enough good things about them. Gina and Maria did the hair for my wedding for me (the bride), my 7 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, my grandmother, and my aunt. Not only did everyone love their hair, but Gina and Maria made the day so much fun. As a former bride, I now recognize how important it is to love whomever you hire to do your hair because you and your bridal party spend a lot of time with them during the day. Gina and Maria make a great team- they were efficient and did tremendous up-dos and curls and half-up hairstyles for everyone. Upon reading the reviews on Yelp, I was immediately drawn to this local salon. There was some confusion between the partners regarding my booking but eventually it was put right. I have shoulder length curly hair. I asked for 2 inches off & long layers. Once this was done I wanted it blow dried straight. The cut was rushed, pretty mediocre & the blow dry was awful. My hair was frizzy and curly around the hairline. My husband has his haircut there too ( a previously booked appt). Rini mentioned that the blow dry wasn't good for my hair, but she was rushing for another client!!? First impressions!!! Anyway my husband is a far kinder critic than I, as such he gave Rini a second chance after he wasn't that happy with his first haircut. Sadly it was worse... long bits left around his hairline & ears. The neckline was crocked too. We will not be coming back here. read more
