I had a last-minute request for hair and makeup, and when I called, Donna, the owner, got me in right away with warmth and a smile. The salon is spacious, clean, full of good energy/music/vibes, and every staff member exudes warmth and kindness. Amanda did a phenomenal job on both my hair and makeup, and everything was so reasonably priced, too. I am now a customer for life and cannot wait to come back. GUYSSSSS, ANA is amazing at what she does. I've been going to Ana for a while now, and every single time, she gets it right. Whether it's a haircut, color, or just a simple blowout, she always makes sure I leave happy. What I appreciate most is that she really listens to what I want, but she's also honest if something might not work well for my hair type and I trust her advice completely. My hair has been healthier and easier to manage since I started seeing her. On top of that, she's super friendly and easy to talk to. It never feels rushed, and you can tell she actually cares. Hair is such an important part of our appearance and it's always wonderful to find a place which is friendly, clean, well maintained and professional right in your neighborhood. So one day after the scare of Covid was past us, I decided to visit my neighborhood salon before attending an important wedding. What a lovely experience. I walked in carrying my very long hair which looked totally luster less and in need of some serious root color and blow dry, and I met Kiki, their super star hair stylist, and wow! she totally transformed my hair into a shiny cascade of beauty. I was debating on writing this review, as I have been going to Salon Camaj for many years, but my last experience was SO HORRIBLE that I will never be back again and I HIGHLY recommend that you don't waste your time or money here. I arrived to my appointment early, and I was seated in a chair and was told that Grosha would be right with me. After 50 MINUTES of waiting, Grosha finally came over. The first thing she said was "I do things a little bit differently than the other stylists, so you're going to have to help me fold up your foils." Salon Camaj is a very expensive hair salon and for $300 I should not have to put in work for my hair to be done, nor should I have to wait that long. I also work extremely long hours during the week and this was my chance to relax and finally get my hair done after a year of waiting due to covid. Once she finally got started, Grosha put a bunch of foils in my hair (after forcing me to help her fold them) and then halfway through, she walked away to start cutting someone else's hair. She left those foils on my head for so long that my scalp started to burn and my hair now looks like hay. I finally left the salon at 6:00 pm (keep in mind, my appointment started at 2:00 pm) and my hair looked absolutely nothing like I wanted. I cant even go get it fixed somewhere else because now my hair is so damaged. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you'd like to get your hair done. I can assume other people feel the same way, because the salon used to be booked to the brim many years ago and now they barely have any business or any quality stylists working there. I'm still so mad about my experience and will never go back again, nor will any of my friends or family. read more

READ THIS BEFORE THINKING OF GOING TO THIS LOW CLASS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!! **** The owners of this place are only money hungry. They don't give a single F if you are happy or not. My experience with GROSHA was by far the WORST experience of my life. First of all: the F word did not leave her mouth the entire time. From the moment I sat down til I was completely done this girl would not stop ranting about her personal problems to either her phone or the girl working next to her. She asked me maybe 3 questions the entire 3 hours i sat there listening to her entire life story. I get we all have problems... time and place for everything, especially conversations about wishing your ex and his new girlfriend would drop dead. She went outside to smoke a cigarette a few times just to come back to touch the foil on my head to "check in" every few minutes to make it look like she was working or doing something. Absolutely disgusted in the fact that I even called the salon to make a formal complaint because I felt THAT uncomfortable the entire time.. but I learned that the owner and my hair dresser from Hell, Grosha, are 'besties' so there goes my complaint out the window. Nothing was done. All these glowing reviews about Grosha but not a single HONEST review. So sad. She's clearly focused on everything BUT how her clients feel. The way my hair came out did not look like an almost $300 job. Next appointment is already scheduled at an actual salon. I wish i did my research before I wasted my time money and patience at this place. A lot of my friends and family come here too and none of them will be back either. Garbage. read more

Kiki has been doing my blowouts for a couple of months so I figured I'd give her a try with my color. I'm super nervous about my hair but I went for it and boy did she deliver. I absolutely love my hair and she talked to me the entire way. I was definitely nervous amd she knew it but she reassured me and it was well worth it. COVID-19 guidelines followed here make you feel very comfortable - constant disinfection throughout the salon - really shows that this business is taking the health of all their clients and guests seriously. I'm so sensitive when it comes to my hair lol and always find something I don't like but Grosha did an actual perfect job. I've been to the salon, but I am writing this post about my sister's experience which I observed - she had an appointment with Jessica yesterday. She arrived to the salon, and was told if she wanted her hair to be cut and colored by Jessica, she would have to wait ~30 minutes and instead she could have someone else. When my sister indicated she preferred to have Jessica, as that's who she originally made the appointment with and expected to have (I mean duh?), she was told she could wait or come back the following day (ummmm???). She was told this as if this was a completely fine and not inconvenient at all alternative. You would think she was there receiving a service for free. Not to mention this place is not cheap, and therefore, I expect the customer service levels to reflect the price. This isn't SuperCuts. Unclear, guys, super unclear. read more
