A lot of stylists work for years and never attain any skills greater than mediocre. I have what has been described as "difficult hair" because it is straight on the sides and has serious wave and body in the back. To be able to address that takes talent. A lot of younger stylists are not trained to do any styles above the shoulders as the beachy waves trend continues for decade after decade. Haircutting is becoming a lost artform. Greg is able to work with shorter hair. I have gotten many compliments, and I recommend him without reservation--although you will need a reservation to sit in his chair! I specifically asked for as little length taken off as possible, yet I now have at the very least 3-4 *noticeable* inches off my hair. She rushed, although there were no other customers, and to make things better she couldn't even style it properly with a picture- I asked for waves and got full on curls instead. Nice people, but wouldn't trust them with my hair ever again. I would place bets on me knowing more about styling than she knew which should never be the case in a hair salon. Also, in response to what her reply is 1. You don't have to be a mind reader to copy a picture and 2. I talked to cosmetologists at two separate places who agreed the cut was not done properly nor was it anything like what I asked for- had to pay for extensions. Still would never go again.
