I went to see (the oh so talented) Nick. I hadn't had a good cut in years and he delivered one of his signature cuts giving my hair depth and life. His blowouts are A1 and I left feeling brand new. I get complimented every time I leave the house. He's amazing at color and gives you exactly what you're looking to achieve. My daughter saw Carolyn this past weekend and she's been feeling herself ever since. She had some chunky highlights done elsewhere in Bay Shore and wasn't too happy. Carolyn gave her exactly what she was looking for with her balayage technique and it looks sooo naturally gorgeous. There's a reason so many people followed her and Nick from their former salon. Amazing people who love what they do and deliver gorgeous results.

After years of jumping from salon to salon never feeling comfortable or satisfied in the work I was getting. Well I have finally found my home. Every visit I am welcomed by every member of the staff and made to feel as if I am part of their family. Debbie the receptionist is one of the sweetest funniest people I have met always greeting me with a smile and a good chat while I wait. Jackie my colorist is amazing. Not only is the quality of her work better than I have ever had before in my life but when I am in her chair I feel as if I am chatting with a good friend who always has my best interest at heart with her recommendations. I also have two daughters ages 9 and 12 and I have begun to bring them to the salon as well. They LOVE it there! Dora takes such good care of them every time they come in. She makes them both look absolutely beautiful every visit and she chats with each of them and makes them feel special and unique in her chair. Tiffany and Rachel give the most amazing washes, again I can honestly say that I have never had such amazing scalp massages before I sat in their chairs for a wash. This is the theme of the experience at Jack Anthony, you are pampered and given the highest quality of service in every chair you sit in. And then there is Jack... words can't even describe how wonderful of a person he is. He genuinely cares about every single person that comes into the salon and truly wants to make the experience memorable every time for each and every person. He is the consummate professional but also makes you feel like you are his oldest dearest friend. He has the highest attention to detail I have ever seen and he manages to transform my hair into something spectacular every time I am in. Recently I turned 40 and I was thrown a 80's theme party and not only did he complete my transformation but the whole staff helped me get ready and make sure every detail of my outfit was perfect. Every visit no matter what the occasion, a special event or a random Tuesday I feel like I am at home with my closest friends in the most wonderful environment. Thank you all!!

I showed the girl 3-4 pictures with medium length (past shoulders) with wispy bangs and butterfly layers. I left here practically crying looking like Kevin Sorbo from Hercules. She took off 2 more inches than I asked for (and my hair was long/halfway down my back so there was enough for her to a healthy cut and match the style I asked for). She seemed very inexperienced and clearly she was, which is extra annoying since when I booked I asked for a higher level stylist. After she finished I was clearly unhappy and the other stylist came over and tried to tell me it's just the way she blow dryed it and the cut matches exactly what I asked for (even though every picture had hair past the shoulders and mine ends above mine). She then tried to "fix" the style but it looked basically the same after. At this point I just wanted to get out of here before I burst into tears. I was so flustered to get out I ended up tipping her anyway and I'm so mad at myself since there is not one thing I like about this cut. Cried the whole way home 0/10 do not recommend.
