I'm sure that's why she has such a following. Her attitude, professionalism and expertise reminds me of a big town salon with a small town comfortable feel. Joan is truly a nail artist because she has such a flair. I definitely recommend this shop and will continue being a patron.

There is no way to dry the polish on your nails. She applied multiple layers to wet polish. No cuticle care, sugar scrub and a few rubs with a dull emery board to my feet. I think my 10 year old granddaughter does a better job in her dining room.

Not only was I wrong about that but I had the best time with the nail tech Diem. What a fun and funny lady who although didn't work miracles on my manly feet, (let's face it, there's only so much you can do with feet ) did manage to make me comfortable and MUCH better looking in my opened toed shoes at my son's wedding. Literally fried…read more I went in with long pastel purple hair looking to get it the purple out to be more of just a blond and my roots blended. I walked out 5 hours later with orange roots and legitimately fried hair. And I'm not talking just the ends. I went back a week later to talk to the owner. Who told me the stylist wouldn't give me my money back and I should have known it would be fried cause my hair was already damaged. My hair was healthy prior to walking in that salon, now I had to go back to my natural color (black) and it's now cut above my shoulders. Would not recommend!

I found out about this place from another nurse a year ago. I always thought custom extensions would be an arm and a leg plus an additional kidney for the upkeep. Nope! After the initial investment in the actual hair it's been super reasonable. I don't spend much more to have my "move-ups" and color than I did just for my color maintenance and regular trims in Toledo. It's definitely worth the drive. Jaycee does my extensions, but after a year of coming here every 5-6 weeks I've never seen anyone leave upset. The whole salon is clean, well organized, beautifully maintained and features some great stylists. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they do great work inside. In Napoleon in a strip of older businesses you'd expect to see a lot of little old lady roller sets and perms- but don't be fooled. They have several stylists here who specialize in hand sewn beaded weft extensions. I have difficult hair to get and keep blonde- my color has never looked better. This is a great salon worth the drive.

I'd say my experience at Classy Nails & Spa was definitely a mixed bag. There were things I really…read moreenjoyed, but also a few communication and billing issues that kept the experience from being a 4 or 5-star visit. First, the positives: the atmosphere is definitely a vibe! It's cute, relaxing, and has a nice overall feel. I also appreciated that the service comes with snacks, which is a fun little touch that makes the experience feel more elevated. Most importantly, I love how my nails turned out. My nail technician did a great job, and I was very happy with the finished product. Where things got a little frustrating was with communication. I requested a basic pedicure with gel polish and a gel polish color change on my fingernails. The receptionist mentioned that she was confused about my request, which caught me off guard because I felt like I was pretty clear about what I wanted. I also didn't understand why I was charged separately for removing my previous gel polish when I was getting a gel polish change. To me, removing the old gel seems like part of the process of changing the gel color, so I would have appreciated having that explained before the service. My fiancé also got a manicure for the first time. He specifically and repeatedly requested no polish. Unfortunately, clear polish was still applied to his nails. He didn't even realize it had been put on until I noticed his nails later. That was probably the biggest communication issue for us because he had clearly expressed what he wanted. Then, when it was time to pay, there was another mix-up. Our services were incorrectly assigned between our bills. Instead of me being charged for the gel polish change on my hands, I was charged for the pedicure. His manicure and my pedicure should have been on his bill, while I should have only been charged for my gel polish change. We didn't really push the issue at the time because it felt like trying to untangle everything was only going to create more chaos. However, it is something worth mentioning because clear communication and accurate billing are important parts of the overall customer experience. Would I go back? Yes. I wouldn't write the salon off based on this experience. My nails genuinely turned out great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and little extras like the snacks. I think there is room for improvement when it comes to communication, listening to specific requests, and making sure services are entered and billed correctly. For now, I'd personally rate my experience around a 3.4/5. The nail quality and atmosphere definitely earned points, while the communication and billing issues brought the overall experience down. I'd suggest booking an appointment rather than walking in, and make sure to confirm exactly what services you're going to receive and the pricing beforehand. It also doesn't help to see that the receipts aren't itemized specifically to show the customer what services they received with add ons (if any). The service(s) on the receipts just reads "custom."
