I have hair with extremely horrible length and dimensions on one side of my head and a face frame and layers on the other side. They also have great products and usually have a sale going on so it makes it more affordable to buy the salon products. I am so thrilled that Lauren has joined Salon 3! She is my go-to stylist and if there is anyone that I have trusted with my hair it is her. I have auburn hair and Lauren is so good with reds, whether it's to darken my color during the winter months or lighten it up for the summer. She takes her time and involves me in the process to make sure she achieves the color I want. I have very long hair and finally found a stylist that knows how to work on long hair, Kathy! She covers my grays and it is not noticeable at all. She will not add highlights or lowlights until I need it, so my hair won't get damaged. I don't stress anymore when I need a trim (other stylists will cut too much off). The salon is pretty and location is perfect - across the street from Starbucks and down the street from shopping, a plus! By the way, Kathy came in on her day off just to accommodate my schedule! That was so cool and excellent customer service! Of course I will not take advantage of her kindness, but I truly appreciated it! The reason why I decided to rate a 4 instead of a 5: The price is a little high and my stylist brushed my hair when it was soaking wet because she was in a hurry. I never brush my hair when it is wet because of the damage it causes and I was surprised when she did. read more

We really used to like this place. Before I start I would like to say this is not about the stylist. Both were fine and tried to help. My wedding day(9/6/2017)was nearly destroyed by an inexperienced employee who cancelled my daughters hair and makeup appointment by mistake. We did manage to work it out, but the mishap was blamed on me, and handled rather poorly and without apology by the lady at the desk that morning. I was late to my ceremony and left feeling pretty disappointed in how we were treated. I spent $310 for the services that day and close to $100 a week before.A simple apology and a little customer appreciation would have rectified the situation.Sadly we won't be returning in the future. read more

The only reason I'm giving them a 4 is because I've only gone there twice. I want to wait till I've been there four times. I did check this site because I wanted to see the reviews. I love the fact that on the negative review the business wanted to do the right thing and make a mends with the customer. I got my hair cut and colored. Heather did a excellent job. Matt is the best hair stylist I have ever encountered. I don't even live in that area, but whenever I'm in town I make it a point to get my haircut by him. No stylist I've met takes there time like he does and focuses on every minute detail. If you live around that area do yourself a favor and stop in for an appt with him. read more

I've had the worst experience here. I would never recommend this salon. I've been to the same stylist several time trying to give her a chance but she never listens. She just thinks she knows best and goes with it. I wanted a shadow root and brighter lighter ends. It looks like a bucket of color was dumped on my head. And instead of lightening my ends she put a toner on them which made them darker. My birthday is coming up and I have ton events planned. I'm so embarrassed of my hair I don't want to go. read more

Maybe just my hair dresser but I paid $50 to have some girl trim my hair and "style it" or what other people call "blow dry in a hurry". I could of done better at home with this "style". My daughter in the next chair got a better do which were Elsa braids. read more

Went for a trail before my wedding. I called previously to make sure someone there knew how to do a fingerwave. The girl tried to do a finger wave three different ways and could not get anything to look good. I went home with my hair a mess and she charged me for the style. Will never go back again! Was a customer there since they opened, but will no longer go there. Daughter went to get her hair done for prom and I was very unhappy with the stylist cannot believe that most of them could not do a braid. first they tell me 75 for dye and ends up being 100 no explanation plus 50 for a cut. the cut is good! but the color isn't what I asked for. I'm pretty low maintenance so I can deal with the color but they thing that upset me was the fact she sent me out the door with dye and hair still stained on my face.
