Most salons I go to they rip off my head like I'm there tester mannequin when they were in school but i have nothing but compliments on Paige she was very gentle with the blow dry process the shampoo bowl and not giving me the awkward makeup line! Definitely recommend her if you come to this salon! she definitely and the salon itself and the people who come in to get there hair done made it comfortable space. Thank you

UPDATE: Stephanie has moved to Level 6 Salon in Milford…read more I have gone to this salon for 5 years now and haven't had one complaint. I get my hair cut with lots of short layers and I go platinum blond on occasion (I'm a natural blond) and have loved it and always get compliments on my hair. I've never seen hair walking out of the salon that I didn't think looked great. While my hairs naturally straight my sisters has long, curly, thick hair and she also has been nothing but satisfied. My sister also went from bright blond to dark brown for 3 years and then recently back to blond with no problems. The hair stylist are experienced, sociable, welcoming, and great listeners to your wants and needs. They all have great hair and style and have the range of ages to fit every ones needs. My dad and his friends also love it here because they're comfortable and the girls do a great job. I have always gone to Stephanie, she is young and is capable of anything. I've had cuts, colors, highlights, and up dos from her and they're amazing every time. You will never be rushed out of this salon, they make sure you always look your best and it is one of the most affordable places I've ever been (conveniently). When I get a cut and a full head of highlights it is $70-80. It is located right behind Milford Cinema

She did hair for a bridal party I was part of & It looked great! (The bride had beautiful 40's/50's era short blonde curls) She's super creative, has a great eye & awesome prices! I have several friends (male and female) who are also, or have become, her clients. I always recommend her to anyone who asks and I also agree with the previous comment that everyone I see leave the salon always looks great, from teenagers to women in their 90's. I Highly recommend this salon!

I was a new client and had the worst experience at this salon. Isabel did a color and highlight on…read moremy hair. I asked for it to be natural looking and to cover up the gray hair around my face. It instead turned out a bright yellow/orange that worsened to a horrifying color once I washed it at home once. The gray hair around my face was somehow missed and so I then had yellow, orange, and gray hair. I told the stylist during my session that I was not happy with the color and she advised that it was my hair's fault, it had taken in the color more quickly than she thought it would. I called on a Monday as I wanted a refund and was told the owner would call me back on Tuesday. They didn't call back until Thursday and advised that they stand behind their work and would fix it, but would not refund me. After my hair turning orange and no sense of urgency in a call back, there's no way I was going to go back. I had to pay to get a more professional salon to fix it. Do NOT go to this salon! I have lived in several areas of Michigan and been a new client to many hair salons and never experienced anything like this, both in regards to terrible hair stylists who don't understand color techniques nor professional in sense of urgency to rectify the situation.

I've been getting a haircut from Jeff, the owner, for many years now and I won't go anywhere else…read more He maybe pricey compared with a 15 minute haircut you can get from national chains your pay $18 for, but you're paying for his expertise, fashion sense, and getting the exact style you want, satisfaction guaranteed. Meaning if after sleeping overnight you don't like the haircut you got, you can go back and get it redone for no additional charge till you're satisfied. That's the kind of confidence and commitment he brings to his work. Small surprise given his background. He learned hairdressing (together with his brother) at an early age from his mother who was a hairdresser herself. He apprenticed under Paul Mitchell who took him under his wing and took him on US tours as his sidekick over several years demonstrating his cutting-edge styling techniques. He's won multiple awards. And he taught hairdressing in his salon for 34 years graduating dozens of six-figure earners. Jeff's natural talent abundantly demonstrates itself in his flair for hair design and execution: he once described the process in exactly the same way Michelangelo talked about his sculpture: he sees the the style he wants to create very clearly in his mind before he begins cutting. He doesn't just rely on intuition like a free-styler would. In his execution he applies an engineer-like precision in what he calls the "geometric"' haircut. "That's how you achieve consistency," he says. You'd be paying easily double, possibly triple, in New York or San Francisco for a hairdresser of this caliber. I feel very lucky to have him in our neighborhood! You'd be enamored by his cheerfulness when he greets you, his upbeat personality, and above all his dedication and professionalism you'll soon discover once you sit in that chair.

I hoped it wouldn't affect the service, so I went ahead with the appointment. When she finished, everything seemed fine because she had styled my hair. Thankfully, Pauline--the owner--came through. I went back in, and she did some miracle work so I was able to keep my length and get rid of the choppy look. I was going to give one star because I was devastated with the original outcome but Pauline was very kind, and fast with her response and solution and handled the situation with grace and the salon deserves some love.
