I was a new client and had the worst experience at this salon. Isabel did a color and highlight on…read moremy hair. I asked for it to be natural looking and to cover up the gray hair around my face. It instead turned out a bright yellow/orange that worsened to a horrifying color once I washed it at home once. The gray hair around my face was somehow missed and so I then had yellow, orange, and gray hair. I told the stylist during my session that I was not happy with the color and she advised that it was my hair's fault, it had taken in the color more quickly than she thought it would. I called on a Monday as I wanted a refund and was told the owner would call me back on Tuesday. They didn't call back until Thursday and advised that they stand behind their work and would fix it, but would not refund me. After my hair turning orange and no sense of urgency in a call back, there's no way I was going to go back. I had to pay to get a more professional salon to fix it. Do NOT go to this salon! I have lived in several areas of Michigan and been a new client to many hair salons and never experienced anything like this, both in regards to terrible hair stylists who don't understand color techniques nor professional in sense of urgency to rectify the situation.

I usually get highlights and a trim but wanted something new for spring. During her consultation Lauren walked me through options and listened thoughtfully to my responses. I felt more like a family member/long time girlfriend rather than just a client! End result: I am in love with myself again! So many compliments and just a great afternoon well spent. I called the next day to question about the charge. More or less was told too bad I would not recommend this place to anybody my color is absolutely horrible! My first choice was Tantrum and I should have stuck with that now I'll have to go and pay extra to have a color correction BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!
