This is a salon of individual booth rental so the benefit is if one doesn't please your fancy you have a slew of others to try out. Great experience with Tonya Q for a mani/pedi. She was super engaging and made the time fly by. Major kudos for order of process. Tonya actually completed my manicure prior to starting my pedicure which is a Best practice in my book. Paid $300 for a head of highlights, totally horrible. They turned orange within a week's time. Ask to have them redone and was advised they would put a darker toner. That is NOT SHE PAID FOR. Had to go to a funeral in another state .October 29 2024.Didn't even get to get my hair done this time.. and I was charged full price. And I DID not get any Text stating I had an upcoming appointment. 185.00 taken.I had my hair done here by Emily over 3 months ago . She did a good job. Untill I made an appointment with her for a follow-up just a root cover. My husband's 40 year old little sister died battling cancer. So I am in Alabama and about to head home She left behind 2 young children btw. I knew I was going to have an appointment with 209 soon. But as promised by Emily I would receive a text letting me know when my follow up appointment was. Well I did not get one. And the day after the funeral I get a rude rude call from Maggie stating I missed my appointment. I tried to kindly explain about not Ever getting a reminder text, because I would have immediately rescheduled due to the fact I was at a funeral in Alabama. But no I was charged twice 185.00 twice 185.00 for no service, no text to tell me I had an appointment and really adamant that I was getting a full service done,when it was just for root touch up. Now they will not give me back my money 185.00.SO BEWARE OF SCAMS. BEWARE OF THE PRETEND NICENESS. THEY ARE LIARS . I AM SO HURT AND SO DISAPPOINTED. Haircoloring Stylist Emily For someone who experienced trauma you would think they would understand. I was ejected 250' through the windshield of a vehicle. I understand trauma and I understand company policy. And I would adhere to what they consider a missed appointment. But I did not get a reminder text ever nor did I get a hand written appointment card. Just a smile from Emily saying " don't worry we will text you for your follow-up appointment" That's the biggest scam. Get an appointment card take a picture of it on your phone. They robbed me of 185.00 total. First they double charged me. People this is fraud. read more

This establishment gets one star out of five for clearly lacking in professionalism, courtesy and for obviously terrible business practices. A customer who did not get a text or phone call about a following appointment was double charged the full amount for services that had been received during a previouls visit. I guess this means that it is this salon's policy to just fraudulently charge whatever was the cost of the previous service on the customer's debit card for a missed appointment, but then run it twice for extra emphasis, mistake by them or not. For me, a sudden charge debited out of my account in the amount of $370 which turns out to be twice the price for services for a previous visit, is finanacially devastating. If the policy is a $50 charge for a missed appointment, then charge only the $50, not $370. But to arbitrarily charge a huge fee for services that were neither actually booked in the first place and never actually planned or performed is plain fraud and just overall terrible business practices. The newly planned services were not the same as the previous services, so how does this make sense? If I could give less than one star for lack of professionalism and courtesy I would. If you are supposed to get a text reminder of any new appointment and the customer did not receive it due to perhaps storm related down cellular service or perhaps because they were attending an unexpected devastating funeral then this salon should at least leave a voicemail to let the customer know that the $50 missed appointment charge would be debited. Stick to your policy of charging $50 for a missed appointment, even when you say you "texted them." Charging $370 for one single missed hair appointment is more charges than my thoracic surgeon, my heart surgeon, my endoscopic neurosurgeon, and my child's pediatric endocrinologist, and finally my dentist if I was a no show to all of these above-listed appoinments each TWICE. Please do not trust these people, they cannot be taking care of the hair of regular people, every customer must be related to the Carnegie's in order to afford the huge charges debited to your account by these irresponsible fraudsters. read more

Classy, and clean place, nice people, and my only complaint is paying $45 for a hair trim -- not a hair cut, just cleaning up dead ends. I was the chair for less than 10 minutes and I opted out of a wash and blow dry, yet I was charged for all of that (caught a peak of the pricing before she charged me) Lesson learned, ask how much a hair trim is prior to making an appointment. I guess I thought no one would charge me more than $20. The salon is nice and I recommend for someone wanting a full salon feel. But for someone like me that wants a simple trim I don't recommend. Unless you disagree with me which is fine. But I have never paid more than $15 for a hair trim. read more

I found this Salon through Groupon for a permanent makeup application with Lori Hall. I had no trouble making an appointment in fact they were accommodating when I had to change it. I found the staff there to be friendly and professional. Lori was patient and kind through my eyeliner procedure. I will not rescind my previous review. The fact that Lisa and her friends are still harassing me online (as of 6/3/13) and using the internet to no-so-slyly insult me further through hateful messages proves what this "Professional" believes she is like and the company that she keeps. That fact they are so petty should speak volumes. It has been almost 2 years, move on people. I happily pay far more than I ever paid Lisa for excellent service elsewhere and it is worth every penny.
