I was looking for a salon in Ocala that takes same-day appointments due to my schedule. I called salon Bliss early Friday afternoon and they were able to squeeze me in with Samantha at the last hour. When you enter the building, you must sign a form to acknowledge that someone will be working with you at close proximity. All the stations and equipment are thoroughly sanitized prior each usage. Samantha was very patient to understand my needs since it was our first time working together. I highly recommend her for your hair care! read more

If I could give this negative stars I would. Awful experience! Went for a color and trim, lady was running 1hr behind and never acknowledged me (could have offered me a beverage or an apology). Finally after an hour 3 people came over to color my hair! (1 head 3 people...very stressful). Tried to send me out with wet hair (NO)!!! She did "kind of" dry it, no style what so ever. No discount for my inconvenience (should never have expected one) and was stood over while I tipped. All very unacceptable! no excuses. I was raised by a cosmetologist and worked in the salon by the time I was 10 yrs old and this would have never been acceptable customer service. When asked for a referral to a salon I know exactly who I will tell them to stay away from! Thanks, but no thanks! read more

I have been to other "high end" salons in Ocala since moving here from Tampa/st Pete about a year ago and knew there was no way I could go back and forth 2 hours each way to have my roots done every 2 weeks . I was excited for my appointment today with Jessica for a smoothing treatment as she assisted me a couple of months ago. My appointment was scheduled for 12 noon. I drove from Miami and was almost at her hair salon - running 25 minutes late due to unexpected travel traffic. When I called the salon the person that answered was not too friendly and was told that Jessica could not complete my treatment because she had other appointments. I understand that she had other appointments, but the fact that I drove from Miami and was almost at her hair salon, I am surprised that she could not work me in even if I had to wait a bit to complete the service. I was pleasantly surprised as I was in search of a salon to correct a hair coloring I had just received but wasn't what I was looking for from previous salon I was going to for 5 years. Immediately when I walked in and described the color I was trying to achieve the staff was able to get me in that day and address what I was looking for, after all hair styling and coloring is a luxury we all enjoy as ladies. Overall good service especially considering the added pressure of keeping everyone safe. My only complaint is that this salon has a coupon on their website that states $ 65 color & cut and was told that that only applies to touch ups. The coupon does not state that ... I have been using Salon Bliss for several years now. Over the last year things have been going down hill will management. While the stylist have been doing their best, you can feel the tension. My last visit was 07/30/2020 - the owner Jessica approached my stylist while working on someone's hair to confront her about outside beverages being consumed BY THE CLIENTS! This was the most disrespectful feeling in the world! The matter could have been address when I entered and I could have put it back in my car. Needless to say I will not be returning. I hope the best for the stylist as they deserve so much more respect! If you choose to go, I'd advise to put in head phones so the unprofessionalism is not heard. Good luck! read more

I'm pretty upset with this salon I called and made an appointment for 230 I deep condition and trim. I've lost a lot of hair because I've been sick so I was really excited to make it healthy again. I sat and waited 30 minuets no one approached me nothing. Two girls sat behind the counter eating while I'm waiting to get my hair done. So after about 30 minuets of being ignored I walked out and no one said anything to me. All I wanted was my hair done. It felt like they just didn't want to do my hair and to be honest it hurt my feelings and it was very rude. So now I'm stuck going to the hair cuttery where I was avoiding going. I don't suggest going here the people are very rude. read more
