Most beautiful stoneware! My sisters and I have been collecting their pieces for decades. Now my daughter and nieces collect them. Beautifully crafted. Great sales. Check out their website and get on their mailing list for coupons and upcoming sales! Don't forget to check out their back 'seconds' room for even greater bargains!

Cassandra was so accomodating. She had exactly the style desk and chair that I had been looking for but it wasn't in the finish I wanted so she special ordered exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend shopping here. Pat C.

Sorry in advance for the length but…read more.. In the 1st week of Feb '17 we were searching for a power lift recliner. We researched brands/styles/pricepoint & options online. I was drawn to Lane. It turns out Lane's site had several chairs and offered a list of authorized retailers. Not one, within 100 miles had the chair I was interested in and there weren't too many dealers. But the chair looked great and style wise like I wanted so we went to Coastal Furniture in Greenland. Now keep in mind throughout this long story, I'm handicapped. I have difficulty walking and do so with a cane. We were told in Greenland we'd have to go to their other store in Dover. Ugh. So off we went. The store is a big house with product crammed into it and not friendly for a guy w a cane. If you were in a wheelchair, forget it. There's no one to greet you. You have to find your way thru the rooms to the very back. There was 1 saleswoman who we spoke to and looked up our chair. She brought out 2 enormous binders of coverings and explained the 3 categories. I wanted a "leather feel" but opted not to go w real leather - too pricey. So I settled on a "step up" faux leather covering in a mahogany color. We put down the 30% deposit and were told it's about 6 weeks. So I was looking forward April 1. A day or two later I got a call telling me she had not charged my card the deposit and just charged the delivery charge of $100. Ok, so I gave her my card again. At the end of that week. About 6 days later, I received another call telling me the covering I chose was discontinued. This was the first of many "ugh" moments. So we went back that Saturday, picked out another fabric, and realized the chair is now another 2 weeks behind. So mid April. Fast forward to mid April. No chair. I called and was told it's usually 8 weeks. But then at the end of April it was delivered. Here's the first furniture lesson, don't order any furniture you can't see in the store. This chair was enormous! I'm a big guy. It was big enough for Andre The Giant. It was so deep, I could not sit back enough. Also, the design was poor. The headrest portion was hard and made you head forward when sitting. It was simply a very uncomfortable piece of furniture. It was not the Lane furniture we've come to know and love. But the big problem was it did not recline fully ("unlimited reclining positions") as was described in the Lane website (see photo). We wanted to return it. We were told by Lane to contact the store. The store said "no recliner reclines all the way". This simply isn't true. Then, the chair started making horrible grinding noises. Again, we contacted the retailer. They sent a mechanic out who told my wife, "this chair is is imminent danger of defaulting. Metal is about to spring thru the side". He told my wife this is "lousy furniture" and "they've had lots of problems". He took the chair. Then I followed up with a call. She finally agreed to refund my money, less $100 for the delivery. It's mid July. Side note: I left out descriptions of the many emails and calls. The store avoided us at times I'm sure hoping we'd go away. It's not a company I'll ever do business with again. We found an excellent chair at Jordan's Furniture in Nashua. Fantastic experience. Btw, Nashua is 68 miles away. Delivery charge $52. Dover 16 miles $100. Rip off.

Colleen has a great eye for New England country design. Love her color palette. We contracted The Look to do our new home in Portsmouth. It was a large project and when we spoke…read morewith the owner of The Look she was very engaging and had some good ideas. The first thing we probably should have noticed is that she never took any notes. We had to repeat ourselves over the course of several meetings. Perhaps we should have pulled out then, but we had hopes things would work out better. Things did not get better..... Once we started things only got worse, the timeline slipped by months and we found that we could get the exact same pieces that were specified by the designer for thousands less by doing a simple google search. These were not knockoffs, they were the exact same items. We decided to buy the items ourselves for a savings of well over $15,000.00 Before we go on I think it is important to clarify a few items. The designer and owner of The Look was very clear that her design services were a separate cost from her retail store and that if we did not want to buy from her retail store it would not affect the other services. She said that the retail store was competitive, she quoted "We also search the web to price match" Unfortunately that is not what happened, she was unwilling to match the full retail prices we were finding on the internet. So we decided to save ourselves thousands of dollars (and get the credit card miles) by buying ourselves. Surprisingly (or maybe not so) the designer became less interested in our project after that. She insisted that we had to manage all of the contractors by ourselves and didn't take any ownership of the errors that she made early in the process. For example, an entire floor of our house was neglected in her painting quote, a floor that we were extremely clear would need to be painted, but somehow she missed. To reiterate - I understand if a designer gets paid by taking a percentage of the retail items and that is why they would have higher prices. But the owner of The Look was very clear that that was not her practice. I caution anyone from buying directly from this establishment, A short google search could save you thousands. And even other designers in less than a 50 mile radius had the exact same pieces for less. Also, we wanted a specific wallpaper for one of our rooms, that she said had been discontinued. we were disappointed until we looked online and found that the wallpaper was available and The Look just could not locate it. We did buy several items from her retail store, and we were very disappointed by the service. I imagine that we were put at the "back of the line" after she lost interest in our project, but we paid over $7,000 for a bed and two hanging pendant lights. Our check for payment was delivered to The Look on June 30th. The bed was installed on September 21st, even with 2 months to make the bed that is a little long. But the real kicker is the two hanging lights. They were also paid for on June 30th, after 4 months on October 30th we finally cried "uncle" and just cancelled the order. There was still no delivery date and the story we heard is that they were back-ordered several times. Several times? How does that happen? Throughout these four months of waiting we had to always reach our to her for updates, she never emailed us with updates. She basically disappeared right after we sent her the check. After we cancelled the order she emailed us to say that she would send a check right out but "It takes a few days to get out". We took her at her word, until two more weeks passed and we still had not received any check. So, we had to drive to her office to manually pick up the check (on the 20th of November). Needless to say, working with The Look was quite the painful endeavor. Regarding the design services. She did produce good concepts. Except when she tried to convince us to put our hot tub on the front lawn - that was weird - I am sure our neighbors would have loved that! But I would warn everyone to get everything documented via email so that you can be clear on what is and is not included in your project. And you can refer back to the quotes when the bill comes. Also, double check your invoices - I was double billed for a $500 item that I had to catch.
