They were having phone issues and I couldn't reach them. Having already gone to 1 Sally's and not finding what I needed the sales clerk in Woonsocket nicely texted the store to inquire about my requirements. The text assured us they had what I needed...drive to South Attleboro and TA DA!!! Instead of the 2 boxes NEEDED they only had 1... Uh, if I needed 2 boxes of color what good is 1. Why text that you had 2 in the first place? Poor customer service. I am not from here, travelled to 2 stores, and still left empty handed. read more

I went to buy dye from Sally's for one of my girlfriends. It was busy. After a few minutes, I asked the girl working at the check out if she was the only one and she replied with a smile that yes she was and that she'd help me when she was done. So I stayed in the dye isle getting out of the way of the line. About 20 minutes later, the noise quietened and I went over to check the line. The same worker had a basket (for shopping) over her head and she was laughing with another worker behind and to the side of the counter where you check out. She turned around and said oh..and laughed and proceeded to try to help me. I am very patient and am not the type of customer to freak out like some do and overreact. But that was....very disappointing. Time and time again I give sally's a chance and every time I go I am disappointed by their employees lack of training. I will still shop at Sally's if I need to, but not often, and I certainly won't be asking for their advice. read more

I went into Sally Beauty Supply over the summer, looking to purchase a Gigi wax warmer and was happy I was able to find one in store. When I got to check-out, I asked for the price, and I was told that it was $6 more than it costs on Amazon. I was honest and told the cashier (I wish I could remember her name) I wasn't sure I wanted to pay more for a product I could buy at a lower price online. She agreed with me, and price matched Amazon on the spot. She also gave me a coupon to use in the future. I have to admit this made me very happy, hence the 5-star review :) read more

This was the first Sally store that I had ever been to. Recently I have been making some transactions here and I have to say that I will not be returning, ever. This branch is small, cluttered and highly unorganized. I mean it didn't bother me so much at first and then having been in the store more than once, it's difficult to move around especially in larger crowds. It's also hard to find what you're looking for unless it's behind the cashiers desk. As a customer I expect a store/company to be professional and friendly. If you're looking for this (most people are), do not come here. The sales associates AND the managers are beyond unprofessional and rude. I'm not going to get into specifics about the situation but basically my husband and I made a purchase for clippers and trimmers. On top of that, we bought the warranty for both. The trimmers were defective (the blade was broken) and we came back to return them- I mean we bought the warranty so it was no big deal. Turns out we weren't able to return them. All of the sales associates denied us a return and we asked why since we had bought the warranty. That's what a warranty is for, right? The whole thing just didn't make any sense. The managers handled it completely inappropriately as did the sales associates. To add on to the hassle of the whole situation, in general, the sales associates have a complete lack of knowledge on anything in the store or how to handle customers properly. We were never told any detail about the warranty, we never had anything explained to us. Another issue was that we bought a new blade to replace the broken one and then return it. Little do they inform you that you cannot return a purchased blade regardless of the circumstances. We were then informed that it is stated on the back of the receipt that you cannot return blades. That's just stupid, so you wouldn't know until AFTER you made the purchase. Makes absolutely no sense. Ultimately we had to call their corporate office to get the whole situation resolved. It was a huge headache and more. In a business the customer is always right, and there is just no winning with any of their employees and managers. It's disgusting, and honestly I hope that they find a whole new staff that actually knows what they're doing and caters to customers correctly, nicely and professionally. Side note: The customer is what makes a business thrive, if a customer is not happy, a store/company should do whatever they can to make the situation right and abide by company policy when doing so. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Walked in and wasn't even greeted. Walked around looking for the brand of hair dye that I needed finally found it, the color I wanted, they had run out of but yet no one asked if I wanted to buy any different products instead. So i went today on the day they first opened up after covid- randomly stopped by for a few things. I was greeted by a super friendly guy with bleach blonde hair , all was well during this time until a big ass red headed white trash girl from lincoln who decided to scream and swear on the top of her lungs the whole time about her 1 ct cubic zirconia engagement ring . Telling her whole life story to the kid with the bleach blonde hair ( i guess they went to lincoln high together?) apparently this girl was young cause she was so excited to turn 21 tmre is her birthday) let's just say the guy who worked there not once but twice had to tell her to watch her language for kids around. This ugly pos Loser said to him" i don't give a fuck it's not my kid and let someone try to say something to me " - let me tell you jesus was on her side today because if my kid wasn't with me i would of gave her a birthday gift to remember. I left so upset at the fact that she wasn't kicked out of the store or at-least told to calm her tits by management. Instead they let her stay screaming away about her pathetic 20 years of life. Noone should ever have to feel the way I did with my kid in a store and not have someone who worked there take control of the situation. read more
