I highly recommend Gabie Hawkins for eyelash extensions…read more Gabie patiently removed many of the lashes I had had applied by an unexperienced lash artist who glued the extensions to one another. She left what she could and blended them with a full set of classic lashes that are just beautiful. I'm so happy with how they look. I've been getting eyelash extensions since May 2017, and Gabie is among the best lash artists I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. She was detail oriented and even added more lashes without my asking to fill them out the way I like them. If I'm ever in Louisiana again, I WILL be visiting Gabie!

Natalie quickly got me in for a restorative color process and she was absolutely amazing. (My…read moreblonding process from previous stylist had taken a very brassy wrong turn. I also have very color resistant grays, making my hair hard to work with) She spent so much time and attention on my hair today, and this chic really, REALLY knows her stuff!! She was so knowledgeable about what needed to be done and when I saw the (absolutely beautiful) results I was overjoyed because it more beautiful than I could have imagined my blonde being. (I'm naturally a dark brunette.) I'm so happy that someone referred her to me, I would absolutely refer her!! Also, they're SO friendly here. I was there a while and they took really great care of me, so I would say that the customer service was outstanding at the salon overall as well.

My wife and I visited this Covington location on a weekday afternoon for a vaccine from the…read morepharmacy. Although we had appointments, we had to wait long past our appointed time. I mention this simply because, while we waited, we observed a pharmacy staff of 6-7 (pharmacists, pharm techs, clerks, etc.) fighting an uphill battle to complete tasks and serve a flood of clients. To their credit, they performed with great efficiency and were respectful, helpful, and welcoming to all with whom they dealt. I was impressed. I have no pharmacy experience, but as a retired biomedical professional with an understanding of difficulties in the industry that have grown since the recent pandemic, I observed obvious staffing issues that must be addressed by management. I'm sure that duties have increased for all employees (especially for registered pharmacists!), but this does not excuse superhuman workloads. I hope that management will find original and equitable solutions to this issue.

Even when the app says it's ready, it's not. This is a repeated issue, not a one-time mistake. It shows a clear lack of communication and coordination, and it has wasted a significant amount of my time and gas. I would not recommend using this location.

I go in there and get a diet coke or a water and/or a snack or some little thing I need. This review is associated with the 190 Walgreens, which I have been to many times, but it could be for any of them, really. I've never been to a Walgreen's where the staff wasn't nice, the store wasn't clean, or there was a problem checking out. Also, Walgreens doesn't have a stupid "customer card," which is a plus in my book and, unlike another drugstore chain I could mention, you don't have to go hunting for someone to check you out.

The other worker also gave me one-word answer when I asked if she was one of the stylist who worked in the hair salon section in the back . Telling me "NO"- offering NOTHING ELSE, like leaving me with NO information to PURSUE OR SPEND MONEY on a SERVICE here . Luckily Kristen makes up for these careless mean girls . Inviting me in 2 minute til opening and then explaining the stylist arrive at noon. The other beauty store clerks Severely LACK any type of social skills to work around other females or human being in general . It's astounding ! But thank you Kristen for being the best here !!!!! I wish I can leave more stars but I get treated poorly by the other girls here like I don't come here to be mistreated , while I could order my makeup online , than bother driving to go to a brick and mortar shop, there is one woman who works the DIOR counter here that I want to give recognition to She has been very nice and helpful as well. But these girls need to get trained or at least acquire some type of dignity and respect towards PEOPLE while they decide to be rude to customers at their own JOB .

I came upon this lovely little shop on a recent Saturday when exploring historic Downtown Covington. Owned & operated by a cool chica that established Lucy's Artisan Apothecary as an online business before gracing Downtown with a brick and mortar store. This is the type of place that all locals need to support because the products are made with quality and love. The cleaning product I purchased is concentrated and enough to make a strong 11 gallons of product!
