Not sure how Sally's even really stays open. The deals on off brand products are not that great. Yes,there are some items that could be deemed professional certainly, but the vast majority look like knock off brands. I would prefer to pay a little more for name brands I trust that are on sale elsewhere. That said, the staff are super friendly, somewhat helpful, and I have bought some great hair extensions in Sally's BS. One advantage is that you can buy larger quantities of hair products here for a better deal, but as I am not a salon, it would take forever to use them up, and I prefer to mix up what I put in my hair. I wouldn't dare attempt to color my own hair, but if you are so inclined you will find what you need here and from what I hear it is often better than the drug or grocery store. The hair dryers, irons, curlers etc imo are better off bought online where you can get a good idea of the professional quality from user reviews. While they may say professional some aren't brands I recognize so I would be wary. Nothing is more frustrating for a naturally, frizzy, curly haired Dominican than being duped into buying a weak-a** dryer that just can't get the curl out of your hair. Save your pennies and go to folica.com for advice on the best dryers for curly hair. Tons of different priced options, free shipping, and reviews. This review is not for the store but for whoever packs the products for online orders. I recently received a broken shampoo bottle from you guys in the mail and had zero customer service as to what happened. I got my money back but I will not order anything else from your website ever again!!! I have ordered items in the past and never had any issues before. 7/9/18 2:52pm Stopped in the Conroe Sally's today to grab some hair color and was disgusted by the time I left and will never return. There were two open boxes, sitting on the floor, at the back of the store. This little boy standing next to me picked up a bottle out of one of those boxes and was looking at it. As he went to toss it back in the box, one of the workers walked up to him and in a loud, harsh voice said, "What are you doing?" "Don't mess with anything!" My jaw just dropped! I felt so bad for that little boy. I don't think his mom heard what was going on. She was looking at something at the end of the isle. While I was reading the back of a bottle, one of the workers started to walk by me and loudly said, "excuse me!" but as she walked by she pushed me in to the shelf. I didn't hear a sorry, or anything. She just kept walking. Just because you said, excuse me doesn't mean you can proceed to squeeze by and shove me in to the shelf before I have time to move. By the way, this happened TWICE!! I finally made it to the checkout line and there were two ladies in front of me. Apparently the cashier knew the second lady in line and called her to check out even though there was a lady ahead of her. The lady that was first in line got mad and said she was next and had been waiting. The cashier told her she was wrong. The lady took her stuff and put it back on the shelf and told another employee that the cashier allowed her friend to blatantly cut in front of her, so she's not going to make her purchase. The cashier yelled across the store and said, "She's a liar!" The lady that was allowed to cut in line started yelling at the customer saying, she is going to kick her ass if she doesn't shut up. None of your other employees would stand up for this humiliated and mistreated lady! The actions of your employees was disgusting!!! They were all loud, rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, hateful towards children and just plain sickening! I have posted this on my city's facebook page and so many people have agreed and have had similar things happen to them at this specific store location. warning warning!!!!!!! the customer service here is the worst times 100%. today is december 16, 2019 today i walked in to sall's beauty store at 7:45pm hoping to purchase a product. so i asked both employees for help and both of them told me they did not carry that product." fyi" they didn't try to look nor offer to help find something similar. both employees continued to unpack boxed and fix their inventory. so i proceeded to look for myself just to double check. a couple of minutes later a customer like myself walked in, so i asked her if she knew something about the product. she said "yes", and pointed to the product she believed will help. she told me a previous sally's employee told her about that particular product. meanwhile, the employer that i had initially asked for help quickly walked over while looking very upset. she told me that i was not allowed to asked customers for help. i told her i could. she began to explain her credibility as a hair professional and how she has been doing hair for over 20 years and how i should not listen to the other customer. my question to her was why is it a problem that a customer is helping? she screamed at me for about 3 min telling me about her credibility as store manager. seconds later she was screaming, getttin her ipad and the store phone saying she was getting me banded from sallys!!!!! "fly" during all of this every customer walking in this sallys door was white except me. i was the only black customer in there. while all of this is going on the employee that was calling "someone to band me from sallys" was being very polite to all the white customer., and explaining to them how i was getting kicked out for disturbing other customer. at this point i was humiliated. "yes" i started crying, because its was so hurtful that i was getting treated so unfair and accused of disturbing other customers. all i did was receive help from a customer!!! i did not expect my day to end like this! i have 3 daughters, and always teacher them to treat people the way you want to be treated! i am so thankful my daughters was not there to witness this humiliation. (its so sad that racism is still a major issue in the united states) (the sad part is people dont really know how it feel to be racially profiled until its done to them) (well sadly to say i just experienced racism tonight at this sally's beauty store located @ 2104 n frazier st. #120, conroe, tx 77301.) i will be contacting sally's corporate office first thing in the morning. this was unacceptable. i walked out of there crying, because i was racially profiled and humiliated by both employees. Just here on a very busy Saturday afternoon. More than 10 in line and one worker won't help line checker when asked. Lone checker extremely rude to woman ahead of me. Customer was Hispanic and spoke little English. Checker demeaned her for not readily answering question - did she find all she was looking for. This store needs competition or owner oversite. read more

The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. This is also the place that has the best bleach out kit (N rage) for dark hair. The pricing on items that I can find at other stores is comparative but, they do have good deals from time to time. read more

Horrible experience the manager started screaming at me because I touched the nail filler even though I was already in line to pay for it. She told she didn't care what I thought and that the rules where rules. Yet again once I paid I told her I would contact customer service and she grabbed the phone and said she was calling too and she could care less of my call. Then I told her that I would take a video of the way she was acting and she said she would sue me even though she was acting like a crazy person. As far as I know a manager does not act like that yet alone does not scream at customers nor have altercations with them. That was totally inappropriate and I will never step a foot in that store. read more

Don't shop here!! I was a faithful 4 year costumer until today. They've changed the staff over the last few months. They don't keep up the store , the sales posted around the store are outdated, they won't honor the prices posted. Girls have major attitudes when asked questions or even when I come in and say hello. They're too busy conversating with each other . Today was the last straw , I went in got my products as I'm checking out the price posted doesn't match the price ringed up. I asked her why it's different , she says the sale prices are for last month it's the 23rd of the month. I ask her to put them back , she doesn't!! I get in my car as I'm looking over my receipt , I notice she didn't remove the items. I didn't bother going back in because she put them in my bags anyway. Yes I buy that many products that I didn't notice. I'm taking my money else where. read more
