Just a followup to let everyone know this is the 3rd year in a row we've ordered the uncooked Turkey Wellington for Thanksgiving. It's still one of the easier Thanksgiving meals to make for 2 people. We were able to eat about 1/2 of it and rest is now in our fridge for tomorrow (or later tonight if we get hungry). Recommendation for people ordering for the first time, make you have a good size cookie pan with no edges. It does grow a bit on the over and if there's an edge in the pan that it hits, the top could crack open (you might guess how we learned that lesson). Also, if you like a lot of gravy, splurge for the extra side of gravy. Don't worry if you have leftover gravy - I'm sure you can find a use for it. One last thing, with the new highway overpass, it's a little funky getting into the place. But the time you've seen, you've passed it. read more

This review has taken me longer than expected to write and I am sorry it took so long. Sally Ann catered my 105 yr old mother's funeral reception and they did such an amazing job. It was perfect from the timely set up to the clean up. The food was amazing including dessert and was displayed beautifully. The staff were amazing, so helpful and courteous to everyone. They were recommended by San Antonio Church and the one thing I didn't have to worry about was trying to figure out what I needed to do, which was nothing but listen and agree to the great recommendations they had. From food selection to tablecloths to center pieces, they did it all. On such a huge emotional event, having someone like Sally Ann Catering to have my back was a load and burden I did not have to worry about. Christina at Sally Ann Catering really made a world of a difference at not only one, but TWO of our wedding events. First was my bridal shower. She really brought my boho picnic dreams to life! Not only was she able to create the most perfect brunch menu, which included individual baskets for each guest, she also provided all of the décor! I truly could not have imagined a more perfect day. Second was our wedding day. We sought out Christina for both the dessert bar and wedding cake. If there was one compliment we consistently received from our guests, it was how good the desserts were! By the end of the night, the dessert bar had been cleared out and people were asking if there was any more cake for seconds. They were also able to accommodate individually packaging the desserts due to COVID restrictions at our wedding venue, and they still looked beautiful! We ordered a lunch yesterday after our Mother's funeral. It was there when we arrived and it was piping hot. We had Turkey Wellington's, green bean also dine, carrots ,salad rolls and cookies. Holy smokes, they are amazing. The Anaheim Fall Festival just produced a Zombie Dance party and not only did they bring tasty food, it all looked incredible within the theme. Incredibly yummy soft bread, cooked in long rows to look like intestines, Mac and cheese "brains", deviled eggs "eyes". So hilarious. And soooo good. And a zombie bar with original cocktails. They also helped the quality pf the event with the perfect decor to make the event even more presentable. They are a class act that always goes the extra mile to capture the tone of the event. And they have incredible staff. Dressed like the undead they became part of the event in a professional yet fun manner. I've used Sally Ann's several times and they have always gone above and beyond. Food is tasty, good and well prepared. Pricing is far as the food is good. 3 stars because my wife has ordered from here twice. Both times we have had issues with the orders. 1st time shame on them. They did give us a free desert platter that was great. The 2nd mishap, shame on us. We should have reviewed the order once we put our deposit down as we would have caught the shortage. Not sure if we will go back. Again the food is good. If we go back we will be sure to review the order when we place a deposit in hopes to avoid a shortage of food for our guest. We have used this caterer many times for different events. Their famous dish is the turkey Wellington, every single time that we have them cater they make this dish. I catered a small retirement lunch in August. Sally Ann did a wonderful Southern theme for an employee moving to the south. Everything was fantastic so I decided to use them again for a large baby shower with a pumpkin theme for twin boys. We had 55 guests. My menu choices were the Chicken salad on croissants, Tuscan chicken on palm ciabatta, antipasto skewers, pasta salad, fruit salad, Caribbean potato salad, a cranberry Brie brick followed by pumpkin pie tarts, cheesecake pops, apple crisp bars and some heart shaped-chocolate chip cookies. Let me say I'm a great cook. I usually do all the cooking myself because I'm very particular- but Sally Ann just beat me out. This food was Phenomenal! Every single thing was absolutely delicious! My guests loved it ALL. The Cranberry Brick was such a unique treat. A must have for the upcoming holidays! Bonus: Christian was our server and he was SO professional and attentive to every little detail. He did such a great job. I have hosted so many events and this one was THE Best!! We first found out about Sally Ann Catering when our next door neighbors hosted an event for their son's graduation party. There was a taco bar, where the tortillas were being made fresh as you stood in line. For our baby's 1 year birthday we decided to use Sally Ann as well. Christina was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a pirate themed party at a local park, and she made sure everything went perfectly. We had a taco bar like our neighbor did, and the guests were very impressed (several of them commented to us and also asked about Sally Ann Catering). Things that stood out: - Christina made sure everything would be perfect. She even went to the park days in advance to make sure she knew where she wanted everything to go. - Christina worked with us closely to make sure the menu was just right based on headcount and age groups... all the way to the last minute. - She found additional pirate themed material left over from prior events they catered at and brought them. - A buffet was set up for kids younger than 10 years old, while the taco bar catered to the adults and older kids. The mac & cheese for the kids was amazing. - The taco bar option comes with beef, chicken and shrimp... something to make everyone happy. The food was cooked perfectly. Like I mentioned earlier, several guests asked us who the caterer was. - The Sally Ann Catering staff was professional, on time, and helped with setup and cleanup. They will dress appropriately for the occasion (e.g. - formal black tie, fiesta, etc.). It might be easy to find a good caterer, but it's hard to find an AMAZING caterer... Sally Ann Catering is absolutely amazing. Christina is so professional and easy to work with. Yes! I ordered from Sally Ann Catering for a grand opening my company was having for a clinic site in Santa Ana. We ordered the week of and Ashley, who was my main contact was a delight! She was really nice and helpful when adding or removing items on our invoices. Although they were a bit late upon arrival, the food was delicious! Everyone loved it. They even set it up with flowers and really pretty decor to accompany our tables. I would highly highly recommend them! They were even close to on time for the pickup time 2 hours later.
