    Double Salish Quarter-Pound with fries

My bf kept talking about how he heard the burgers were good here, so we decided to grab some before we headed home. He got the Double Salish Quarter-Pound with regular fries and I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with tater tots. And he got the Root Beer Float, which is a cup of ice cream and a glass bottle of root beer that you pour into the cup of ice cream yourself, and I got the Northwest Berry Shake. My bf enjoyed his burger and float, although I thought his beef patties were pretty thin for being a quarter pound burger. And my chicken patty also was pretty thin; it was nice anc crispy, but felt like it was more batter than chicken meat. But the fries and tater tots were crispy and delicious, and the float and shake were tasty.

    Bean, rice, and cheese burrito

We had tacos and not burgers. Limited seating area. Food came out fairly quickly. I couldn't eat meat on this particular day so I had a burrito with beans, cheese, and rice. It was pretty good. The salsa was alright too. My boyfriend had the Al pastor tacos and he absolutely LOVED it! Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it but since he liked it so much I'll definitely have to get that on my next visit here.

Are street tacos your thing? Well look no further than this cute spot! This was the first spot we…read moretried after moving to the area. I tried the carne asada and pollo street tacos!! The pollo definitely hit the spot. It had so much flavor. We like to have one or two places that come in clutch for street tacos. This is our go to. Getting in can be a bit tight depending on what you are driving. They have a good sized menu and you can order through the drive through. If you want to eat them fresh once you get them, they do have a few parking spots. Feel free to order in Spanish too! Also, if you need to quench your thirst they have delicious Horchata and other Agua Frescas. These are legit street tacos so if you are starving get a handful. You won't be disappointed!

Okay this is a small place with no dining room that I can see. Looks like drive thru only but there…read moremay be a walk up window since there is outdoor seating. I got the carne asada burrito. They handed me what looked like a rolled up newspaper wrapped in foil but it was the burrito! Filled with carne asada, rice, beans, and guacamole it was definitely filling. I'm usually not a rice and beans in a burrito guy but this one hit the spot. I ate the whole darn thing and I'm not sorry. The prices looked reasonable in a world where you can drop over $20 on a hamburger. I shall return.

This last weekend my wife and I were out and about finishing shopping and wanted to pick something…read moreup for lunch I had noticed a hotdog stand in a shopping store parking lot and had been thinking about giving them a try but they were a no show. So heading north we noticed a taco stand across from one of the chain burger places. Why wife knows how much I like street tacos so it was a no brainer. There was one customer ahead of so we had time to decide Both of us chose the taco plate, they showed three different options on the menu so we asked if we could have one of each which they said sure you get beans and rice as your sides. I notice that Elotes was also available so had to have that too!! It's nice that they have a debit card reader which made payment easier. Seams like a family run stand with mom running the show with dad manning the grill, I'm guessing their daughter takes orders and handles the toll plus helping where need. Everyone was friendly the order was given to us quickly. Now they were in a parking lot I didn't notice any tables but that was ok home is close and everything was hot when we got home. Each of the three tacos was moist and nicely seasoned. The beens and rice are pretty typical fare but good! Now the Elotes was delicious a corn on the cob dipped in a savory sauce dusted with a cheese powder with a drizzle of not a hot hot sauce but it has a little zing you gotta try it! I was looking to see if this stand was on Yelp when we ordered but couldn't find anything maybe I miss spelled the name so no pictures this time, sorry but next time I'll do better! Nice to have an option like this in the lake Stevens area will definitely be back.
