When I say this sandwich was a good size but packed a punch. That's an understatement. Now I know what women mean by "size doesn't matter". I can honestly say this was the first time I've even been glad I didn't get French fries with a sandwich. Because no way could I eat that sandwich and fries. This is the BEST Farmers Market in this area, hands down…read more Unlike some other local markets, the food here is actually from local farmers, and there is a ton of variety. Baked good stands, flower stands, produce and fruit stands, a stand for fresh herbs, organic meats and eggs... you can even adopt kittens from a shelter (or look at them rolling around and feel your heart breaking!). Often times there is a bluegrassy band playing, toddlers dancing, people walking their dogs, kids playing with sidewalk chalk, and lots of folks making conversation. The owners of the stands are also very friendly and helpful, and you get can incredible deals on produce. This is exactly what a Farmers Market should be. The perfect way to spend a Sunday is a trip to Emmaus to this market, Balasia to eat, the Cottage for gifts and stationary, and Mas cafe for a good cup of coffee.
