Upon conducting a thorough Google search, we stumbled upon Embree Dentistry. After my first call to the office, I spoke with Kristy, I knew that we would be well taken care of. For my first couple of visits, the first being an evaluation, they were quick to reschedule if anything came up or notify me if they were running a little behind. I greatly appreciate this level of transparency. There's nothing worse than waiting in a reception area for your scheduled appointment to open up! The hygienists are highly skilled at what they do, especially Jenny. When I am there, I see Doctor Heys, who is great. All in all, I am very impressed with the level of communication and expertise. 5 stars!

I dreaded the day when Dr Bruce retired and hoped Dr Bob would not retire as well. But they both worked long careers and built a well respected practice. I am glad they handed the reigns over to Dr Naz. After attending three visits with Dr Naz I feel confident in trusting my dental care with Dr Naz. I think that Dr Naz has the professional knowledge and skill to maintain the health of my teeth throughout my lifetime, (as long as I follow through with scheduled checkups and do my brushing, use the water pick and floss). Dr Naz has updated the equipment and the staff are new. I think the office is now in their groove, and operations run smoothly. I can see now how the modernization of equipment has clinical relevance to my dental care. I like the new monitors that show pictures of your teeth and X rays. This is important to see close up pictures what tooth or gum problems I have and the before and after treatment pictures are convincing. When you go in for a cleaning the cleaning tools are now motorized. This office has the 360 degree X ray. Dr Naz has comprehensive and skill. She is a dentist that spot problems early to spare me bigger problems such as losing a tooth later on. With an x ray of my jaw bone she noted my 25 year old dental implant was losing its support of the underlying bone and referred me to an oral surgeon to rescue that implant tooth, ( See my review of Dr Chang on Yelp). Dr Naz has exceptional skills as she filled three of my cavities, and I never felt any pain. They rub a numbing gel into your gums so you don't feel the pain of the needle that injects the local anesthetic. And when the dental hygienist Tessa tells you to start using the water pick, heed her advice! I had been brushing with Sonicare and flossing every night, but procrastinated in buying a water pick, because I thought it would be like my mom's appliance from the 70's. So I still developed three cavities despite my three times a day brushing. The new water pick and Sonic fusion take personal care to a higher level. It's like power washing your teeth. I believe Dr Naz and her team have your dental health as their top priority. I must commend Dr Bob on inviting Dr Naz into the Hern Dental building who carries on their highest standards of dental care. Mark

I've been coming here…read morefor years and while I have tried out other dental clinics, I find that Dr. Wang always has my best interest at heart; she will not do unnecessary procedures and believes in maintaining teeth integrity for as long as possible before drilling into it and filling it with synthetics. My own critique is that the company uses a 3rd party website called MyDentalClique to have patients upload any medical/X-ray information from other dental clinics. For example, I had my dental x-rays taken at a different clinic and had to upload them to MyDentalClique in order for Gentle Dental to access them (for security and privacy reasons). There were technical difficulties downloading my x-rays on the day of my appointment. If you need to do this step too, I would recommend calling ahead prior to your appointment to confirm your documents are downloaded and ready to go by the time you have your appointment.

It completely destroyed my upper bone in my mouth and my front teeth. After a grueling year of surgeries and bone grafts, Dr. Lisa Powell as well as our close collaborator the oral surgeon, Dr. Alena Fear, restored my teeth and mouth along with a big part of my self-confidence. Far from dismissing patient opinions, they took my views into account. We worked very closely as a team, which made the process go very harmoniously and smoothly. Dr. Powell was perseverant, precise and incredibly compassionate . She shaped the teeth like a sculptor, sometimes refining them 12 times in a row to get the right fit. Many thanks to the masterful lab technician, Ed, who was a huge help with the final and most crucial stages. You won't find a more capable and kinder dentist than Dr. Lisa Powell.

I loved…read moreher staff and her, her service was great, but I feel the need to write a review after a serious error on her part. All 13 of the fillings she did have been replaced from 2012 - now. I've been to 2 dentists who both couldn't believe the job she had done. 2 of the fillings broke out when I was flossing, while the rest have either left gaps where food gets stuck and leaves me with irritated gums or they're so sharp, I constantly break floss. In fact, my husband was a patient of hers as well and his fillings she did are all being replaced. I should also mention she charged me $500 for a service that is normally free at other dentist offices. She's very sweet, but the initial fillings costed us time and money and replacing them has not been cheap or a great experience. I feel bad for referring my mother who had a very expensive bridge done by her that was replaced less than 4 years later (her bridge before lasted 20 years). I cannot in good conscience recommend her to anyone, which is a shame, because I really liked her.
