I have had a LOT of horrendous experiences with dentists, so when I have an experience that is excellent I want to make sure the doctor and business are recognized. Dr. Aminlari/A2 endodontics was able to get me in within one week for a "questionable" tooth that was only intermittently hurting. They were able to provide me a price range over the phone when I scheduled, and on the day of the appointment the office staff and technician were very personable, open and friendly. I waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and this was only because I had arrived a bit early. I have an unfortunate anatomy/physiology such that it is difficult to get adequately numbed- it takes a lot of shots and extra time to block pain signals. Dr. Aminlari was committed to making sure I was as comfortable, and was not at all judgmental or rushed like most other dentists that I have seen. He was not concerned about the time it took; while it required some trial an error to see if the local was adequate, he was very responsive to my indications of pain and immediately stopped to administer more when needed. The actual root canal procedure was very quick (especially compared to others I have had). He was also very patient with all of my nosey curious questions about tooth anatomy, and which intrument does what, haha. It was a chunk of money for me to be sure- but an imminently fair and reasonable price, in my opinion, given the years of education, training, costs associated with running a business, employing staff, etc. Also, I have paid a lot more at other dental specialists for inexcusably poor service/outcome, so I am more than happy to pay someone who does a great job and is also kind. Who wants a root canal? Literally no one. Did it hurt a little at times? Yes, but they did everything in their power to minimize this; they were super nice and responsive and I felt safe there. They got me out the door in just over an hour. They even called the next day to check on how I was doing, which is rare these days. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of needing a root canal, no worries this is the place. read more

Evaluated for a root canal. Endodontist showed me the x-rays, explained what was needed. Answered questions. Made sense. Office takes Dental Insurance, does all the leg work. Show up for the root canal. Rylee (assistant) and Dr. ArminLari attending. Kind. Thoughtful. Painless. In and out. Given instructions about follow up, pain management (I had none, perhaps because I followed instructions.) Office Atmosphere: Calm, quiet, friendly. Staff seem to enjoy working with each other. Icing on my root canal cake: The next day, I receive a phone call from office staff (Tiffany) asking how I'm doing, need anything, etc. This is how root canals were meant to be. read more

Wow! My dentist recommended them and I was highly skeptical even though have a great location close to my home. What I liked: Got an appt in less than a week. They also pre-checked my dental benefits and gave me an exact price of a root canal prior to my arrival. The entire office staff was incredibly friendly. Alyssa and Dr Ryan were fabulous and explained the process step-by step. They were laser focused on my comfort as well. My dentist suggested that they look at two teeth instead of just the one I was having issues with. Dr Ryan thoroughly tested the other tooth and gave me an honest evaluation and clearly delineated my options. Very professional. I'm 66 years old and this was hardly my first root canal. We (and our regular dentist office) 'followed' Dr. Aminlari when he established A2 Endodontics after leaving Precision Endodontics in Livonia. When it comes to medical care, I value skill over all other factors. Dr. Aminlari is the best technical Endodontist I have ever encountered. He ensures that the area on which he needs to work is completely numb before doing any work. And when he works, he does so quickly and efficiently. In addition to surgical skill, it's nice to have a good beside manner and Dr. Aminlari has that as well. He and his support team are relaxed and friendly, creating a positive environment for what most people consider a traumatic experience. During a procedure, they regularly check to make sure you're OK and make adjustments as necessary. Obviously, no-one wants to have extensive dental work done but when it's necessary, you want to have it done by the best doctor you can find and Dr. Aminlari is definitely at the top of his field. read more

Not a good time for dental work (pandemic), but I had pain that was getting worse by the day. Fearing too much Tylenol, I went to my dentist and they said I needed a root canal. They recommended Dr. Aminlari who was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and obviously loves what he does. The entire staff is really wonderful and they put my mind at ease. My root canal was painless and fast and my mouth was treated with the utmost consideration. Good to know if I need one again, I won't worry. read more

5/5 I visited Dr. Aminlari today for tooth pain. I was unsure exactly what tooth was the problem, but Dr. Aminlari was able to determine the cause of the pain and recommended a root canal. I hadn't previously undergone a root canal before and didn't know exactly what to expect. The procedure was quick, painless and masterfully done. I was referred to Dr. Aminlari for a root canal evaluation and was super nervous, as I really didn't want a root canal! I spoke to Alyssa a few times to get my insurance figured out and she took care of everything so professionally and compassionately. I met with Dr. Aminlari and David today for my evaluation and Dr. Aminlari was able to figure out the cause of my pain and cold sensitivity without needing a root canal, explained exactly why it was happening, and everything he was going to do. I needed a root canal and was sent here. I have a lot of anxiety about dental work and pain so I was quite nervous. The staff was amazing! Very professional, compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. It was painless in every way. They calmed my anxiety, did a flawless painless procedure and took care of all the pre and post insurance stuff so I knew my out of pocket before I got the work done. I was pretty scared to get my very first root canal done, but my experience surpassed all of my expectations. The A2 Endosonics office was very clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and I felt very comfortable and safe during my visit. It was explained to me that a root canal was very similar to getting a filling and that it would take my pain away. I opted for the nitrous gas as well to help with pain management and to calm me which was a great decision. Dr. Aminlari was so genuinely friendly and knowledgeable. My procedure took only around 30-45 minutes and I felt ABSOLUTLEY zero pain. It's been 2 days since the root canal and I've still had no pain. My migraine that I had experienced for 2 weeks is gone as well. Thank you to this office for taking the pain away and making me feel so welcomed even being my first time in the office! I can't say enough good about Dr. Aminiari and his office helper-Alyssa. Initially I I was referred to an endodontist in Toledo, Ohio, as I reside there. The endodontist my dentist referred me to could not see me for a month. I was in recurrent horrendous pain from a dying root in one of my molars, and I asked that local endodontist if they could please get me in sooner. No sympathy or help with that. I was told they would call me when someone cancelled. After two weeks waiting, I researched endodontics online and found Dr. Aminiari in Ann Arbor. After reading his professional background and hiswonderful patient reviews I called his office. The incredible receptionist and dental assistant Alyssa got me in for an appointment in less than a week. I was amazed. Yesterday after seeing Dr. Aminiari I am thrilled with his work. He identified the tooth that was causing my pain, as it had been difficult to discern from previous X-rays at my dentist. This doctor has the rare combination of a fantastic compassionate personality combined with clinical expertise. I felt no pain at all. His assistant Alyssa is also very personable, professional, and kind as well. In my humble opinion this endodontist sets the gold bar for top of the line root canal care (and I have had root canal work before). I consider myself very fortunate to have found him. As Ann Arbor is only 45 minutes away from Toledo I hope this review helps a fellow tooth sufferer from a ridiculously long wait to see an endodontist in Toledo. read more

Today I was referred to Dr. Aminlari for a root canal. My dentist in Canton explained everything to me and said Dr. Aminlari specializes in doing only root canals and this is the best. This being my first root canal I was super anxious however, When I walked into their office I was greeted by David. He was so nice and took the time to ease my mind as he explained things and listened carefully to the issues I was having. Dr. Aminlari then came in and examined my tooth and took special care making sure the right tooth was being worked on. I was amazed at the masterful approach that both him and David took as they prepared and executed my tooth for a root canal. I was out of his office in less than an hour and was surprised at how easy and relatively pain free the whole thing went. I highly recommend Dr. Aminlari!!!!
