I was low on funds, my tires were bad,I have passed this place for years wondering why it's always busy. I drove up, as quick as I opened my door, a 12 year old kid was telling me what I needed. I couldn't afford the 120.00 per tire price at the time, so the kid sold me 4 really good used tires. I made a mental note to come back if ever my fortunes changed. They did, and I came back yesterday, not only did I buy those new tires, I got brakes and an alignment all for a great price. The service was quick, people were friendly and attentive. While I was there I noticed old ladies drive up, young teens and even broke down winos all with various tire problems, all we're treated very well and drove away happy. read more

Heard about this place through a family member and the tires are supposedly cheap. Came in on a rainy day looking for two used tires for a little 1988 saab. Guy rolls out a brand new tire and says 80 per tire. We ask again for the used tires and he says 55. We ask for a minute to check other spots. He says he'll consider docking a couple dollars if we're paying cash. We say no thanks and he rolls his eyes and goes back to eating his breakfast. I've driven by here lots of times because of the 1$ self wash next to it. Really needed some new tires, called and they didn't have exact size but did have the size under, which did fit. 35$ for two tires. When I arrived there were lots of customers switching their tires or buying new. Luis helped me and was real quick, kept the convo going, and also inspected the used tires for holes.. He's been there for 9+ years. The tires themselves were almost new so it was a great plus. Yes, if you speak Spanish it's a plus. I needed tires for my Altima last week and decided to shop around. I don't usually shop at Walmart but the deal they had on tires was too good to pass on. The only bad thing was the 4 hour wait to install my tires. So I decided to buy them and I took them to Salgado Tire Service so they can install them. I called and was quoted $60 to mount and balance all 4 tires. As soon as I arrived and offloaded the tires they had 2 guys with 4 car jacks on my car. These guys are amazing. Tires are what they do. You pull in, they jack your car up practically before you've had a chance to get out of the car, they fix the tire and you're back on the road in 15 minutes, with your wallet only being $10 lighter. And that's with 10 other customers being served at the same time. I had a slow leak that they patched and it has withstood the test of rough roads, speed bumps and pot holes. No games, just results. The owner here had already lost my business about two years ago when I had been coming into this shop for over 20 years now. only reason I stopped coming here was because one evening I had to change some tires so I stopped in and asked the owner for two brand new tires the time was 545 I remember him telling me that he couldn't put my tires on because it was closing time (it's at 6 by the way ) even tho he had time and just brushed me off in Spanish in a very rude manner well I walked out found another tire shop and got my rubber there. Now today 3/22/19 I go in because my tire had been leaking well the culprit a 1 inch tech screw logged into one of my tires so I had it patched idk if the guy was new or something but he clearly told me it was 7 dollars so I go inside with a 20 dollar bill. The owner sees the 20 in my hand and tells me "it'll be 15 dollars " now I stop look at him and say well your employee just said it was 7 and I can tell that's he recognized me because he got up before I even walked into his dirty excuse for an "office " So I repeat again. I'm paying 7 even tho I have been here almost every time they charge 10 for a simple tire patch I know because that's what I was paying before I don't know why the employee said 7 but me and the owner both go to confront the employee and his boss ask how much did you say it was ? And the employee shocked was forced to say no but the owner didn't realize I was already looking at him while his worker answered well he was shaking his head no like as in lie the owner is a liar has no principles or ethics so I call him out in it not because I have a problem paying the money but because of how the price changes upon customer hmmm sketchy you'll be taken advantage of Forsure one time his mechanic did an estimate for a project g35 I had and the guy went on to say that he had to switch some control arms and do idk what total cost was 950 dollars well I go to my real mechanic and tells me that the guy that had did the estimate lied to me and that it wasn't even the problem it was just quick fix and alignment charged me 100 dollars for the work. so imagine I go do the work with his mechanic pay the 950 and guess what my car would've still had the problem so yeah come at your own risk .
