Needed two used tires and a rim after a recent car accident. Called them first to check their stock and ask for an estimate, and they picked up quickly and patiently explained to me how to check for the proper size of my tires. Went over and they showed me the tires and the rim right away. They took less than 5 minutes to put one tire on the rim, helped put it in my trunk, collect payment, and I was right out. Super friendly service and nice waiting environment. I usually find car repair place a little intimidating, but this one is different. With so many potted plants around you will almost feel you are setting in a cafe when you are waiting for your car. The service provider (I am not sure if he is the owner) is very friendly and laid-back. He discovered I had a nail on my tire and fixed my tire and charged $20. I have been coming here for almost 7 years now and have never had any issues with service or price. Guy who is there is friendly and resonable. Not one for talking a lot. I have gotten my tires plugged, gotten used and new tires from them and they have never failed me. You are getting great quality (even in the used tires) for a fair price. I called for an estimate and was surprised at how nice and cool Ruben was over the phone. I told him I didn't know how to determin the size of my tires, and he didn't laugh! Instead he helped me out! Groovy! He was honest and said one of the used tires I purchased only had about 2 months left on it, and knocked off $15. 2 used tires for $55 total! ($35 and $20). Pete's Tires is a great place to get your tires. My dads been coming here for his tires for as long as I can remember. Now that I have a car of my own I come here to get my tires. Around January 2018 I bought two brand new. Great tire, great price. Recently needed my tire patched came here was back on the road before you know it. Today March 7, 2018 got a fat nail in my tire. THIS IS THE GO TO TIRE SHOP!!! Luis has been SUPER helpful, I came in because my tire kept leaking air but we couldn't find a whole. Took it to 3 tire shops and no one could find it. He put air in my tire asked me to come back in a few days to identify the correct tire that's leaking then took his time dissecting my tire and found a small nail (equivalent to a needle in a hay stack) I am beyond impressed with the service here and recommend this place a million times. I looked around for a tire shop that could patch it but was really careful to choose one as I have expensive wheels and was nervous about them getting scratched and damaged. I went to Pete's tires and he was confident the tires wouldn't be damaged. Well I can say he kept his word! This is the guy I'm coming to from now on. Went to two tire shops to fix a flat tire which stated they opened at 7:30am in which I found out this was untrue. I came across Petes Tires ran by a father and son team. I pulled in the shop and told the father my problem. He pulled my front left tire off, found the nail and pulled it off, and began to repair my tire. A few minutes later, the son pulled in the shop and finished the repair. Reinstalled my tire, paid $15 for the repair and I was out in 10 minutes tops. read more

I called a couple of local tire shops. I was looking for a couple of used tires because I'm a little short on cash. The 1st spot I called wanted $120 for 2 tired, I'm like a few more bucks and I can get new tires. I called Pete's and they were $40 each, which is 33% cheaper. Pete's Tires is run by his son and will not guarantee his work. Before I discovered Rigo's Tires on Olympic Blvd in Los Angeles I tried different tire repair stores. Pete's was one of them. He patched my tire for $15.00, but it kept leaking air. I took it back the next day, but he said there was no warranty and he'll have to charge me another $15.00 to fix it again. I vote with my dollars. I won't ever go back there again. read more

very bad guys, i paid $170 for two 15" new import tires because one of the wheel hub had a broken stud, they promised they will fix it for me but end up telling me i have to purchase the whole unit, it's not fixable!?!?!?!? and they trying to sell me some used IMPORT 15" tires for $35 each, those tires are $55 each brand new everywhere! and the young guy gave me very bad attitude! the guy who install the tires doesn't speak any English! totally rip off! read more

I bought some tires on the internet and went to Pete's to get them installed and balanced when it was time to pay the old man told me sixty dollars for a job that they usually charge forty dollars for. I will never go back there again all the other tire shops still charge forty dollars for that job. I do not recommend this place. read more
