Bad service Called about 15 minutes before closing time to see if they can patch up my tire I was down the street because it had just happened. Literally was 2 min away I told them they said no and just hung up on me... they could've just had good customer service and said no I'm sorry but they decided to hang up. Stopped in for a tire repair, with no appointment, and was taken care of quickly with a warm welcome. I've had two suspect tire leaks and finally chose to bring the car to Ken's Tire & Alignment to take care of the issue. The folks at Ken's Tire & Alignment got to work as soon as a spot opened up and repaired both tires for a reasonable price. I was informed the left rear suspension had some abnormal play. Thankful for pointing that out so I can make an appointment to have the vehicle service center take care of the quality issue. Ken's tires has been around since my early childhood days. My parents would get their tires serviced here so I know they are definitely reliable. I've been so busy that finally today I got some time available to get my tires serviced and fix an ongoing flat my computer keeps recognizing. It's first come first serve and it was busy today, but I was able to get them fixed. They are quick so it was a pleasure doing business with them. To fix a nail in the tire it's was $18 or $22 and in my case it was $18 plus a tip to the tire guy. They give reasonably priced tires I'll be coming back again. read more

Score: 10/10 Buzzwords: Kind, Quick, Card Accepted My girlfriend happened upon a a nail in her rear right tire recently en route to the Costo Gas where they're currently doing construction. Thankfully Montebello Lube n' Tune where I get my oil changed referred me to Ken's who happened to be open for walk-ins. The next day, a Wednesday morning ~8:30am, I drove in and got the tire plugged and fixed up in under 30 minutes by Eddie. Despite 90 degree weather so early in the morning, Eddie greeted me with a warm smile. As did Kevin, who I noticed was kind enough to check and fill the tire pressure for the rest of my girlfriends tires - all in all for just about $19 in total. Overall, I'm impressed by Kevin's kind and welcoming demeanor as well as the ease & efficiency at which I was able to remove a nail and plug my girlfriends tire. While I hope I don't have to return under similar circumstances, I rest assured knowing I know a place now. read more

08/17/2023 Came here for a 4 wheel alignment. I was greeted by Kevin he was cordial. I told Kevin that 2 months after getting a wheel alignment from Kuan's I drove up a curb with the whole right side of my car. Now going over 40 mph the car will vibrate so I thought I messed up the alignment. Kevin said that the wheels may need to be balanced that I don't need a alignment. When I told Kuan's he said it might be something else, going up a curb wouldn't mess up the alignment and he was busy with other customers so I went to Ken's Tire. I just had to know, Kevin said the alignment will cost $90 and balance the wheels is $15 each. Nothing was leaking under my car, I've read online that if the car shakes or vibrates it could be the alignment. So I asked Kevin to do another wheel alignment, he hooked my car up and showed me the readings all 4 wheels were in the Green there was nothing wrong with the alignment. After balancing the wheels my car still vibrates over 40 mph. Sometimes your own judgement gets the best of you, I should have listened to my mechanic. But I had to know so spending $90 is not a big deal. At least I know it's not my alignment. read more

Before coming to Ken's, American Tire Depot Montebello said my tire couldn't be patched and needed to be replaced, and they also said all 6 lug nuts needed to be replaced - my quote was over $500. Ken and his team removed all 6 lug nuts just fine and they were able to properly patch my tire from the inside- FOR ONLY $20! Such a great deal! This will definatlely be my tire shop from now on! This shop is first come, first served - no appointments, but they work very fast and very efficiently. With several customers ahead of me, I was still in and quickly! Been going to Ken's Tire for years. Today I went for a tire slow leak repair. This was after traveling to other tire service centers for help. Ken retired. Get it? All jokes aside, I'd avoid this tire shop. Ken used to "wheel & deal," but sadly those who took over, or run the shop have jacked up the prices. I bought some long wear tires from another shop for 65 a piece with a reasonable amount for mounting and balancing. These tire sharks wanted 480 bucks for 4 very inexpensive tires. I paid 320 out the door. And check this out...the guy I spoke with actually tried to defend his prices by insisting they were the lowest anywhere. No lil buddy. You're ripping people off.
