Late afternoon 4/15 my low tire pressure indicator came on. I passed Capital Tire Center, made a u-turn & entered their lot. Joshua quickly approached my car to see how he could assist. I advised him I was preparing to drive north in a couple of hours & knew I either needed a tire patched or a new tire. Joshua quickly identified the tire with low pressure & found a nail embedded in the middle of the tread. Joshua patched the tire and I was in my way in no time. 2 Stars - Sloppy Service and Poor Communication Came in for a simple leak in my rear right tire. I clearly explained which tire had the issue, but the tech pulled off my front left instead and tried to upsell me on brakes. When I corrected him, he got visibly irritated and rushed through the rest of the job. He eventually fixed the right tire, but he also inflated all four tires to over 40 PSI without asking, which isn't the correct pressure for my car. They got the leak handled, but the service felt careless and unprofessional. Probably won't be coming back. read more

This Tire shop is very sneaky! Be careful with these guys when you take your car for a repair. They will call you an hour later and suggest more maintenance and repairs.. I went to get my tires done and they recommended brakes rotors and control arms. So I agreed to the repair and then it's a paying $1480 total for my complete repair once I picked up my car. My car wasn't even aligned, and they didn't do the job properly. Further more, I looked into what they did to the car and they didn't even put on the brakes properly.. I went back and they decline to fix the issue.. this $200 job (4Used tires) turned into a full maintenance maintenance job That wasn't even done properly. read more

Went in for an alignment after I upgraded my tire Rod and came out with a blinker that won't stay on. I went to Capital tires in March, changed my rotors and brakes. A few weeks later my brakes were screaming every time I stopped. (I was moving and misplaced my receipt) By June, I went back to have them check the brakes, they said I needed new rotors??? I explained, I just had thwm done but misplaced the receipt. They (Axel) said they would try to find their copy, I never heard back. In October, I went back in desperation and had them done again along with other things they said I needed. I paid $650 in March for 2 front rotors and brakes and $1200 in October for new ones on all 4 plus what ever else they said i needed. I found the receipt in November and went back to get a refund for the 1st job because obviously they didnt do the rotors, they wont give me a refund and thw owners refused to talk to me even once to help me with this. Extremely bad service and now in November my brakes are starting to sound like crickets when I stop. DO NOT GO TO CAPITAL TIRES!!!! read more

Went in for a full diagnostic told them I tuned up the car so spark plugs and coils were done but still paid for a full diagnostic because my car misfired and jerked when taking off. After charging me 550 they tell me my whole engine needed to be swapped I was in shock took the time out of my day to swap the coils just in case because after a quick inspection of them they looked pretty bad. Changed the coils and the problem with my car was gone. They completely neglected the term FULL diagnostic because why when I take my car to professional mechanics they try to scam me for more money telling me my engine was blown when in reality I just needed to change the coils. Been going to this (family-owned) business for a little over 4 years now (Have a great relationship with the mom and dad) and have taken my 370z for minor work. I took my Z in for quick brake work 10/28 ($220) crazy price right lol? I was in a rush I would've just done it myself anyways... (front and back and I also supplied my own brakes). To sum it up they did my brakes, I received my car around 6:30-7ish (Hence why its dark in the vids) but I noticed while driving home I hear the sound in the video (clanking-very odd) noise coming from the wheel hub/well and in the steering wheel you feel it oddly shake around 35-40mph...now I got home took the vid and called up the shop...the son basically runs it now due to the father and mom having their own stuff going on I'd imagine. So relayed everything to the son and he says bring it by tmm and we'll check it out (I'm assuming something was put on wrong in the brake area). Take it the next morning and the older latino guy who worked on my car (has a certified ASE patch on his shoulder LOL) takes my car back out and brings it back saying it could be due to my rotors possibly being bad or also the quality of my brake pads that I brought..LOL...(Really?) So in all honesty I've had it enough with this shop so I just asked the son to make sure (liability reasons) that the ASE certified tech is saying he put everything mechanically on RIGHT and its a my hardware is old problem... the son said yea, thats what the tech is saying. Just like anybody would, I trust the shop and the tech who Ive paid good money to in the past right? So I ordered some rotors recently and have been waiting the past 4 days with my car sitting. Fast forward today 11/2, family friend comes by and I speak to him about it, we take my car down the street blah blah blah....I bring it pack up the driveway, park it, hop out and what do I notice sticking out of my front left wheel ? THE LUG NUT HANGING OUT LOL! All 4 (im missing my securities obviously) are loose enough to where I can pry it out with my finger and pretty much take em out Im filled with disbelief and anger at this point so of course I go to check the other four wheels.... ALL WHEELS HAD LOOSE LUG NUTS! I called the shop back up and the son (asked to speak to the dad but he's never there by the looks of it) answers, explain it to him letting him know this is just insane and the only thing this guy (the son) had to offer as a solution was to take my car (with all four wheels with loose lug nuts, NOT DONE BY ME) back across the city which is a good 10-12 min with traffic..... and they'll tighten them back up for me. A damn joke and a damn shame I'd say that thats all they can offer. Lol. I tighten them myself and take the car back out....all the clanking/shutter you hear in the videos? Gone. The shakey/shutter feeling in the steering wheel? (My goddamn wheels were bound to fall off) Gone. I'd say this has to be the most disgusting work ever done on my car and the solution they gave was even nastier work. I never wish bad upon anybody bc Karma is real people but god FORBID I was driving with someone and my wheel pops out and then what? I spoke to the son and told him whatever they have going on over there is a recipe bound for disaster..they could kill someone or a family of 4 for christ sakes just because of their lack of due negligence. I hope they have a huddle with their team and express this review, because something horrible is bound to happen if the ASE certified tech doesn't care enough to tighten the lug nuts of the car he worked on for the past 2 hrs...or he just doesn't care at all. Best of luck to this family and their business but I wont be coming here anymore for anything even to have air put in my tires! Lol. Truly saddening this is the reason why, and Im just glad Im safe. Ok so my car is a work in progress and I went to a different mechanic to get my control arms and steering rack replaced, he told me that whoever worked on my car last, intentionally left the suspension extremely loose and that it is very dangerous!!! This shop purposely did that so that I would come back and get something else fixed. Are you trying to kill people???? My new mechanic fixed it and told me to never ever go to this place again!!!
