I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from Metropolis Auto in Pelham, NH, and the entire…read moreexperience was refreshingly smooth and transparent from beginning to end. From my initial email inquiry to driving the truck home, communication was clear, expectations were well-set, and there was absolutely no pressure or pricing games. Corin was a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job walking me through the various trims and options, with thoughtful attention to what would be best for New Hampshire winters and my daily driving in Massachusetts. He focused on practicality rather than upselling, which I really appreciated. The out-the-door price we agreed on in advance matched the final paperwork exactly--no hidden documentation fees or last-minute add-ons. On pickup day, the truck was fully detailed, inspected, and ready right on schedule. Corin also took extra time to go over features and controls and made sure all of my questions were answered before I left. A quick follow-up from the owner, Damon, afterward to ensure everything was going well was a great final touch and showed a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction beyond the sale. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Metropolis Auto for a future purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a straightforward, stress-free buying experience without the usual dealership hassles.

They fixed the brake issue for $250. I have no background in auto repair so it is important to find a shop you can trust. Metropolis is a place you can trust. They will give you an honest estimate and won't scam you like some other places. The shop is 45 minutes away from where I live but is well worth the trip. I highly recommend this place for anyone that needs auto repairs.

I have to say I was nervous buying a car, but this went smoothly…read more First the car was in fantastic shape low miles, price comparable to similar. We were able to take the car to our mechanic to look at, which is always worth it's weight in gold, and relieved any anxieties about buying used. Finally, our mechanic found a minor problem, which autostop repaired prior to our pick up. The entire process took 3 days from start to finish. I have no complaints - and would definitely buy there again!

They sent me an autocheck and some photos of the undercarriage (which he had already taken for another customer). I called back and asked 2 questions: (1) can you send me an additional photo of the underside of the front and rear subframe mounting points and (2) a carfax. Robert replied that I would have to pay for my own carfax....which is not the problem. When I asked about the additional photo, first he said, "tomorrow", but then he followed up with "why are you being a pain in the a$$, dont be a pain in the neck, just come and see it". I guess that's one way to talk to a customer. I don't understand the harsh impatience to a simple question. A simple "you have to come and see it" or "tomorrow" would have been sufficient. Of course, he probably forgot that I said I was out of town, but not an excuse to talk to me that way. I am truly stunned that these guys are in business. Don't they understand that they should not be rude to potential customers? Isn't that like the first rule of sales? It is noteworthy that on my first earlier call, he complained that people ask for photos of the underneath. I guess they want to make as little effort as possible - that is consistent with other complaints on Yelp.
