I used Salazar around 2010 to reroof my home in Yukon and they were fantastic! Handled all the insurance and it cost me nothing! So last summer i found out the house had hail damage. I called Salazar, Angel immediately called me back, and told me not to worry about a thing, he would get it done. Took my insurance info and ran with it - I thought! He did meet with the adjuster one time to look it over. After that it was dead silence. I would call only to leave a message. He might or might not call back. I would email and maybe get a response. I texted him too. If i did talk to him he would assure me it was all good. Then my insurance company sent me a check for 1047.00. I tried to call Angel to ask what it was and emailed all the paperwork from the Insurance. Never heard from him. I called Salazar to say i had been working with Angel but it wasn't working. I got a call from Jorge who also looked at the house and took all my info. He tried to contact my insurance adjuster but couldn't reach him. Tis has gone on since last July! I am now selling my house, the roof has aged out, and Jorge told me i should be ok as there was no roof damage!! I am now responsible for a whole new roof on 1780 sq ft. Salazar Roofing replaced our roof after we sustained damage in the severe storm last spring. We are very pleased with the job they did. They are a local company, had excellent communication, came when they said they would, completed the work efficiently, and cleaned up very well. After the roofers left, I didn't find a single stray nail around our property. We were MOST impressed with our representative, Danny Crotts. In our opinion, Danny went above and beyond. He helped us navigate pushback we received from the insurance company and really stayed on them to help us get as much as we could toward the replacement cost. He was patient, flexible, and honest. We trusted him very much. I highly recommend Salazar Roofing and I would work with them again in a heartbeat... although I do hope it's years and years before I have a need to. :-) read more

Called for a repair, it took 2 days to get a call back and was told they were only interested in meeting with me if I wanted to replace the whole roof. It seemed they were only wanting to do big jobs and not helping with a partial repair. When I need a full replacement, I will not be calling Salazar. read more

We had a terrible experience with Salazar Roofing & Construction. Our home project is still not completely finished after more than 19 months! Poor quality workmanship at high dollar pricing, mistakes, re-do's, lack of communication, poor coordination among those in charge. A costly mistake they said they would take responsibility for and make right still hasn't completely panned out. We would never recommend this company to anyone for any project. And we have plenty of pictures of the shoddy work to proof it. read more

I hired Salazar Roofing in late 2013 to replace my roof and guttering due to hail damage. I had never experienced a roof leak, but I entrusted them to upgrade my shingles to hail-resistant. It was conveyed to the salesman that I was wanting and expecting a quality job. The roofing job was completed, but after the Salazar salesman no-showed for two appointments regarding the installation of the guttering I was unable to allow Salazar to complete the job, then hiring someone more reliable to install the guttering. Time and commitment was of importance to me as I had to schedule around my full-time job. Shortly thereafter, I learned that Salazar failed to install the drip edge, but had been compensated for it. After contacting Salazar, the drip edge was then installed. Not long after the roof was installed I noticed a strip on my kitchen ceiling. Not sure if it was a leak I contacted Salazar; and in early 2015 I happened to be off from work on a Monday. The door bell rang and not long after a man was peering into my living-room window. Really frighteningly creepy. My front door is a very secluded side-entry. I contacted Salazar to see if the men happened to be their employees. After confirming, I requested that an appointment be made. When a representative returned he inspected my roof for a leak. He advised that the strip I was seeing on my ceiling was simply a seam, not a leak, and NO repair was ever made. In 2020 several other spots began appearing around the so-called "seam". After contacting Salazar a representative returned and advised that an area was never sealed when the roof was installed in 2013. Also, I had other companies inspect the roof and I did not receive good reports on the quality of product and workmanship for the Salazar roof. Much time, money and work has been spent repairing the issues created by poor Salazar workmanship. In addition, I received a dismissive and highly inappropriate response for their employee looking through my window. I could never recommend this company to do any work and remain a very dissatisfied customer. read more

They put a roof on a few years back. A storm came through and our insurance adjuster came out and said they had used faulty shingles. I called Salazra MANY times. Excuse after excuse. They finally said it was NOT their fault, they no longer used that brand of shingle. They would not stand behind the shingle THEY put on my roof. I gave them 9 months to make it right. read more

Great Job!!! Salazar came out and bid a repair to a roof that was recently replaced by another company that would not return my calls. Jimmie came out and told me exactly what it would cost to fix the leak in my roof. Very reasonable and a lot less than I expected. They scheduled the repair then fixed the roof. I called a couple days later because they did not leave a bill. I was told they would get it to me. A week later Jimmie called to check up on me since we had rain over the week. Everything was great. They did not bill me until I was satisfied with the repair. Great customer service and great people all around. I should have used them to replace my roof in the first place. In 2009, Salazar put a roof on my home, with a 5 year LABOR warranty. The cost was $11,056.00. It is a home of less than 1500 square feet, so it was not a big roof. It was a 3 tab composition, and everyone, from other roofers to insurance adjusters says it is one of the worst jobs they have seen for awhile. The roof has been leaking like a sieve and I am telling you right now, if you use Salazar, you are using a company that uses shoddy shingles and shoddy workmanship. They are the last company I would EVER call to do any work on my home. My NEW roof is costing me $7000 and has a 30 year guaranty. Go figure!! read more

We had a roof put on years ago and went to sell the home a few months ago. Inspectors stated the roof needed to be replaced. When I asked if it was due to wind or hail, he (& 3 other roofers) all stated it was put on probably when too hot and the asphalt was worn from too many doing quick work and shoes sliding on the roof. Insurance wouldn't even cover it. Always get a roof on when it's cooler and make sure you don't have a lot of people on the roof. Also make sure they cover the nails so they're not exposed cuz inspectors check that stuff. read more

Don't know which location employee came from, Norman or Yukon, but it doesn't matter. Brian C****** came out first week of Apr to look at what I considered a damaged area of my roof that I wanted to get an estimate to repair. Brian C****** stated he would get with his carpenter, get an estimate and call me. Never heard a word. Called him AGAIN on Apr 9th and again, he repeated the same narrative. As of April 19th...crickets. Can't vouch for the quality of their work, but if it's anything like their lack of business courtesy/inconsiderateness to potential customers, I'd be wary. One "might" assume both Brian C****** & Salazar Roofing thought that since this isn't a "large/$$$-making" job (on a small/modest home) and that the customer is a woman AND senior citizen, it/she doesn't matter...which in turn, "might" be construed as class, gender & age discrimination. If they don't think a potential job/repair is cost/manpower effective, have the honesty & respect for a potential (or not) customer to state as much. read more

I used Salazar before and liked their work, so I called them when we thought we might have roof damage from all the hail storms this year. I called them last Tuesday and they said a sales rep would call me. He called me later that day and said he would be out that evening or the next morning to inspect the roof. I never heard from him. I called him on Thursday and he said maybe someone had already came out and haven't got back with you. I said no, I have been home the whole time, no one has come out. He said, I will find out what's going on and call you back within the hour. I never heard a word back. I called the main office on Friday and spoke with someone else, he said I will find out what is going on and I will call you back. Well, this is Monday and I have not heard from anyone. I was able to get a guy out here from another company. He came when he said he was, finally someone who cares about his business. I will never call Salazar again!!!! I am very disappointed that they would conduct business this way. I am not sure they should even be in business if they can't get back with people at all or come out when they say they are. read more
