I had to leave this review after trying to work with Elliott roofing on the subpar experience. On the phone multiple times this week and last week with a sweetheart of Hannah and Amy. Unfortunately we LEARNED AN EXPENSIVE LE$$ON. Key points in this review *Appointment moved back a day because Elliott roofing had to move it. (24 hrs notice) *Crew late - appointment was for morning - showed up at 5 mins til 5pm. I called to confirm they were coming every hour after 12 noon. *Nails left in yard (My two toddlers in my backyard daily) *Shingles mismatched -Very noticable (see pictures) So at the end of the day did our roof get repaired.... Yes. Did it fix the leak...still to be determined as it hasn't rained. If it needs repaired again I will update this review. Sadly we used Elliott roofing after I trusted the words that the guy who inspected it (Hollis) and sold me on his company. I was sure we would get great service and a great job done. He explained that the shingles would be very close to where we wouldn't notice a difference in the shingles. However when the crew showed up and they argued about the shingles being the wrong color.... I don't speak great Spanish but I did catch that. -1 Star The nervous me started calling on the hour after noon struck and I hadn't heard or seen anything of a crew being late or even coming at all. Poor communication in my perspective. -1 Star Anyone reading this have small children? Imagine them going to play in the backyard only to discover a plethora of nails the crew left behind scattered around the patio/grass. Makes you feel good and safe huh? -1 Star So I call and talk to a very understanding Amy (not sure of spelling my apologies) she says the invoice that went out might be able to be adjusted after I had called her shortly after the crew left. She was to get back with me the next day.... That took a few days for her to get me the unfortunate news that the invoice is what it is. Yeppers you read THAT correct. Nothing can be done about my experience. Hopefully now that you have read my review you can make a decision to go with a different company as I should have and will continue to do business with after my expensive LE$$ON. They came out and checked out my roof and I didn't have to do a thing- they contacted our insurance company and completed our roof and did a great job. My husband and I just had gutters put on our new house by Elliott roofing and they did such a fantastic job. They were very clear on communication, pricing and very easy to work with. They were extremely respectable to our property and didn't leave a trace of trash behind. The gutters look stunning and did such a nice job making the gutters look classy. They also put more drain spouts around the house to help with the rain run off which has made a huge difference for our yard. After April's hail storms that swept through Norman, OK, we were inundated with roofing contracts at the door, most were just too pushy for my liking and not local business', so I spent some times researching and picked a couple of contractors to get estimates from. I finally chose Elliott's for the BBB accreditation and over all reviews. Michael was very helpful and got a price for the work to me in a few days which we accepted after He had resolved an issue with our insurance company over replacement decking. We had to wait several weeks for the shingles as we wanted the energy efficient white. This was the only time I had any issues in that we did not get an update on the shingles which were delayed a further week. A missed opportunity for an updating phone call is fairly common at present with a pandemic going on and everyone under more pressure than usual and this was my only issue. Once the shingles were in stock Alexi quickly arranged an install date and then came round for a final inspection on completion, He got a couple of areas that needed a bit more work attended to and a second pass on clean up. I want to thank Ardriel for all the finishing work he did on the second day. Over all my experience was a good one, much better than that of 8 years ago when we last had to have the roof replaced. Michael, Alexi and all the roofers were always friendly, polite, professional and helpful. I'm hoping I don't have to call on Elliott's again to replace a storm damaged roof soon but if I do I know I can trust them to do a good job. Our house needed a new roof after surviving several storms. We called one company which were going to "play with the numbers" so we would not have to pay our deductible. This did not seem like an honest company. We called Elliott roofing. They were honest; did not have to over bill our insurance company. We paid our agreed deductible and the cost fell in line with the money received by insurance. We got a top of the line roof and gutters. As we wanted to paint the house, too, the gutter contractor had no problem waiting for us to finish before installing their product. They also installed new skylights which we paid extra for. Prompt, reliable, professional craftsmanship. Remember- if a company will cheat your insurance company, they'll cheat you too. I'm so glad we chose Elliott roofing! read more

Improper installation, sloppy work, failure to clean up! when notified of issues, no company rep ever comes to look at the work and someone different get assigned to the job/requests to speak with managing partner are ignored. This place had a lot of nice reviews. Given any business can pay other companies to flush out the worst reviews and get rid of them leaving only the good reviews I should have been more cautious. First problem was the salesperson - told him I wanted a roof exactly like the one I had - I was selling the home and didn't want to need to get the new owners approval Of a different roofing style or color. Knowing I had a deadline with a closing on the horizon I called the salesman to ask when the job could be done. I was told 'you'll have to sign the contract before I can tell you when we can get to it". I told him that was not acceptable and that I was not willing to give him an open ended contract because of the sale and closing date. He acted like he was being bothered that I needed a firm date for completion of the project. Couldn't get any better service out of him so gave it a go and signed the contract only to then find out 'well we aren't really that busy right now so we can get it done in the next couple of days. Why couldn't he say that to begin with? NEXT - just as soon as the contract was signed he called and said 'oh- you currently have metal valleys - did you want metal valleys put back? I didn't put that on there ( remember me saying exactly the same style etc......) you'll need to add almost $1,000 more to the quoted price. Second problem - told the salesperson and wrote on the contract - 'take the satellite dish down and leave it down' the new owners don't want to use it. When the crew started their job I got the crew leader and told Him the same - asked him to put the satellite in the garage. He said 'I'll put it on the front porch until we finish and then we will put it in the garage'. Once they were finished that day I asked about it and they wondered around for a while and finally said 'oh they left with it in a truck - they will be right back. '. Then they all loaded up and left. Finally got the correct answer - it was hauled to the dump'. When the supervisor from the office showed up to do his walk around I approached him about it and he said - 'oh they didn't know you wanted to keep it '. I, of course, reminded him about the discussion with the salesperson, the written statement on the contract and the discussion with the crew leader. His remake was basically get over it - we do this all the time - bet we haul off 10 satellite dishes a week. Third item - once they were finished and the buyers home inspector did their inspection, the inspector questioned some flashing. I called Elliott Roofing and asked to speak to the same supervisor that did the walk around - the receptionist asked who was calling. Once I told them - he was then out of the office. Funny how that works. I told her VERY politely about the inspector and the question about the flashing. I even told her I just needed to know if the inspector was correct and IF the inspector was correct I needed to know what it would cost to get it fixed. No response from anyone since I left that request. Probably my bad for hand delivering a payment in full the day after I got their invoice. Next - the inspector found that they had not cut through the roofing membrane to allow the roof vents to vent the attic. Lastly - found another roofing company that was happy to check the flashing issue (with a smile on their face and at NO CHARGE) - they took numerous pictures of where the brand new shingles were nailed in the exposed portion of the single and had then had some silicone or other sealing material spread across the exposed nailhead. There are other roofing companies in OKC area that will not put you through this much nonsense. read more

Where to I start? How about Elliott invoiced for $21,000 OVER contracted amount even though they didn't do any work above and beyond the contracted work and they never communicated or coordinated any potential need for price increase. The first invoice (which the Ops Manager said was sent in error) was for almost $40,000 OVER contracted amount. Elliott never explained or provided justification for differences in contract price versus 1st or 2nd invoice. I've sent payment for contracted amount yet Elliott has made a Lien Filing on my home. I'd say make sure you have a signed contract, but apparently that means nothing to Elliott. read more

Elliott did a great job and was easy to work with. The weather did not cooperate, but the project manager kept me informed of the delay and anticipated start date. Once underway, the weather was still trouble, and the foreman communicated the plan for each day. I wanted to have the house painted between yroof and gutter install, and Elliott's subcontracted gutter guy was also a pleasure. I would highly recommend Elliott. read more

Last month September 2022, I was looking for a roofing company to come out and check the roof of my house prior to selling it. Just trying to get ahead of the game. A family member recommended Elliott Roofing since he had done business with them before. I contacted Elliott Roofing and their salesman Hollis came out and inspected my roof. Upon completion He advised that he had found numerous areas with hail damage to the roof and gutters his recommendation was a new roof. I subsequently submitted a claim to my insurance carrier who assigned an adjuster. Hollis advised that he would meet up with the adjuster when he came out. I Notified Hollis of the date and time of the appointment. On the day of the appointment the adjuster showed up but Hollis was late, he arrived virtually after the adjuster had finished his inspection of the roof. Hollis made note that the Adjuster had not marked up the roof? And that he would have to provide him with pictures of the damage that he had found. After I received the Adjusters report/estimate needless to say the Adjuster only found minimum hail damage to the roof and gutters. The estimate for repairs were 41.00 above my deductible which was $3900. 00 I contacted Hollis and sent him the report as he requested. That was several weeks ago. I have since contacted Hollis on three occasions with no response, I have also contacted Elliott Roofing via their website still no response. It seems to me that this company is more interested in doing complete roof replacements then repairs. If that's their agenda fine just be upfront about it don't advertise roof repairs and definitely don't ignore customers that do not require total roof replacements. I have since hired a company to do the repairs for a little less than my deductible. I will never consider using Elliott roofing again. To me it's not a good way to do business. I have had Chris Marlatt on my roof several times and he always helped me out so when it was time for a roof thought I would give Elliott a try. The price quoted included gutters which was my first mistake. At time of installation the gutters were left on for the installers to remove which were just dropped on vegetation below. This caused damage to bushes as well as all sediments in the gutters were left in flowerbeds and yard. Then the installers dragged the gutters to the front yard and put them in a large pile for a week. When the gutter people showed up they installed the gutters without incident. Problem being I had no chance to paint under the gutters. Afterward they had to send people out to finish the job and repair damage to my yard. Bottom line my new roof looks cheap and I was unable to paint under gutters. "I will not use this roofing company again." read more
