Aside from that the bathroom that I was instructed to use was so dirty and unkept I couldn't fathom using it. If you are thinking about having a custom home built , Graystone Homes is The Best!!!! My husband…read moreand I had out first home built by Graystone. We shopped around and there was no comparison. The owner is the best builder in Virginia. He is not only professional but honest and builds what you want and what you can afford. The entire staff at Graystone are all wonderful people. From start to finish we were treated with professionalism and kindness ( and most of all patience as this was very important to us). We chose a beautiful colonial on three acres of land that was very carefully cleared to our specifications. We were assigned a designer who helped us in all of our selections both inside and out. All of the decor was top quality and there was a great selection for every room in the house from flooring to the bathrooms. It is important to know that when you chose Graystone homes to build for you, you are getting a custom home from top to bottom. That is what we wanted when we bought our first home and Graystone met all of our needs. We have been in our home three years now and have not had any major issues, in fact few issues at all. Most of all we love our home and will never forget our experience with our builder. He and his wonderful workers built us our favorite place to be for many years to come. Thank you all.

We received quotes from a few different contractors. 2 Brothers' pricing was very competitive; what gave them the edge, was that they do almost all of the work themselves. This meant we'd know who was in our home every day, plus we didn't have to worry about a minor delay having a domino effect on project schedules like what can happen when you're dealing with multiple subs. Pete, Jamie & Auggie are genuinely nice people who seem to enjoy what they do. Pete was very responsive to emails & questions from the initial scoping phase through to completion. He presented options that were aligned with our goals for both style and price point, with no pressure to upsell us. Jamie pays good attention to detail and we were especially pleased with the tile work he did for our backsplash. He also endured my multiple questions with patience and good humor. There were also thoughtful added touches like when Auggie was painting our kitchen ceiling and took it upon himself to touch up some spots in a few others rooms as a bonus. There were some small unpredictable hiccups as does happen with any major project, and the guys were immediately responsive and kept us updated on next steps. This is a local family business doing very good quality work. When it's time for our bathroom remodel, I'll be sure to give Pete a call.

And yet the website says they do all kinds of things. We always test out contractors with small jobs before hiring for big jobs and we're looking to fully remodel the kitchen. We spent over a year prior to the build planning and designing our home; and Walt and Nicole were there for us every step of the way. They were open to every change and addition we made to the original plans and were truly excited to make whatever we envisioned happen. They also offered great advice and recommendations throughout the process that highlighted their years of experience and know-how. They are consummate professionals--courteous and knowledgeable but also genuinely nice people. A year and a half into our home and we are still in awe of the quality of the house. The attention to detail is extraordinary and quality of work is exemplary. Trigon's craftsmen were also a pleasures with whom to work. Jim (the foreman) was always right on top of his communication, calling with follow up information as soon as we requested it; and the carpenters, Ryan and Charlie, are truly talented--our custom stairway could be in a magazine--and friendly. We cannot say enough good things about Trigon Homes so allow this to suffice: If you are looking to build a custom home, do yourself a favor and call Trigon." Thank you Team Cheatle!
