Let's begin with a Raplata for Salata. I like to sing fast songs but my fans love the BALLAD I like to log in but my password's INVALID I'm walking in the air with a Snowman like ALED And I like to go to Salata when I want SALAD Fresh greens are something for which we RALLIED And I like to worship Barbie if you'll let me be CANDID Anything she wants especially a tossed SALAD But she would never want me if I looked like DJ KHALED I wonder if my parking pass is still VALID I wonder if my voice could ever sound like KHALID I wonder why my d*** just got rock SOLID But I love Salata when it comes to SALAD The salad itself was maybe three or four stars as opposed to the five star salads in some of the best locations, and the portion size was about four stars, although it wasn't huge which would lead to 5. Their croissant is amazing too, not healthy but omg, that whole wheat croissant is worth the price of admission alone, and you get one free with your salad. Oh, and the best dressing is the Lemon one, but a lot of people like Fresh Herb. It's a lovely large location with a little room in the back as well, so there's plenty of places to sit and eat. It's definitely one of the better locations that we have been to, and it's part of the super fancy mall and pretty gorgeous outside in a modern "shopping village" way. The better locations are Weslayan (#1 fave, the best employees and biggest salads!), Gray (some great employees, good salad) and I-10 next to Energy Corridor/Hwy 6 (great ingredients, #2 fav!). However, I had to increase the rating because a couple of the employees were really friendly, although one of them a little bit less so. The reason I rounded up from four to five stars is because of the girl that was here that recognized me from Yelp. She was so excited and happy and extraordinarily lovely to us. She was thrilled that the person who reviews all the salad places had come in. I'm usually told that I'm the person that reviews all the boba places, but salad is more healthy so it's nice to be associated with that as well. She is the reason I will definitely be back to this location. And let's finish with more rap: Finding good food is hard, finding good salad is HARDER Sometimes you pay a high price, some times you have to BARTER Sometime Barbie comes here in fencenets, sometimes in a GARTER But if you want a wonderful Salad, go to SALATA Now I have to go, so I'll Salata Alligator.

Missing the fruit and the dressing from the order, this was part of a $50 order.

Had issues with salad being delivered not being what was asked for. Second time it has happened from this location. The fruit portion was not included in the salad and the dressing was also not included, second time it has happened from this location.

Do you know that place that you go and the service literally sucks asss well the shift leader at this location makes it feel and look that way is i don't mistake her mane is "Jena"" Jeaana" like she takes my salad fron the lettuce section all the way to toasting section just to leave it there like hello how is charging me Gaspar the invisible team members there was no another worker that will charge me because the other girl was in the first section taking a costumer and making online orders that just plain disrespectful like hello lady finish my salad or at least understand wtf I'm telling you she needs better training Plus salad isn't even mix

Very sparse salad, you would think the greens were the toppings
    Nkeiruka A.

Back at it again with another review. This location acts like it's a crime to ask for more toppings. It makes no sense. 1 scoop of strawberries for a regular salad?? The same scoop you would put if I got a small.. might I add I'm a very frequent customer and I went in once and they charged me for adding extra toppings such as ORANGES, STRAWBERRIES AND CRANBERRIES. I was under the impression that's free especially when I regularly pay $20+ each time I come in. I thought hm.. maybe paying for extra toppings is new. Since that day they never charged for extra again.. so either that was a short term policy or someone stole my money.

Wrap with a side if sesame chips
    Nancy C.

Salata's a great place to go when you are trying to eat a little healthier. I got the wrap which is basically a huge salad wrapped in tortilla. They have a huge variety of greens, veggies, protein, and sauce choices. It's basically a salad bar. You choose exactly what you want in your meal so it's pretty hard to go wrong unless you don't know your own tastebuds. The side of sesame chips they give youvare great and go very well with the wrap. It's a bit pricy for a salad wrap but I believe they are using quality ingredients that may make it worthwhile.

Twice it's been great, twice it's been meh but definitely not bad. Portions are fine, the sauce distribution or remembering to put sauce on the side is inconsistent. Twice I did not ask for it on the side, and it was drowning in sauce and not enjoyable. The service though? Every time the staff is so nice. Even if I'm coming to pick up - they're kind, say hello and have a great day, and I appreciate the experience from start to end each time. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of areas to sit even when it is busy during lunch, I love the soda brand they use (local and uses real cane sugar), and their juices are delicious every time! I will continue to bet on Cava and enjoy it each time in TS Sugar Land!

The bowls are supposed to come with pita bread and when I asked about it, she said you have to buy it and she pointed at the pita chips. Since they didn't give us the bread that comes with the bowl, my husband bought the pita chips which we found to be nothing but fried bread with tons of salt. When I went back and asked if I could get bread that wasn't fried, they informed me that the bowls were supposed to come with a piece of bread, but yet the girl who was fixing, my bowl told me that it did not come with pita. The food is decent enough, but you really have to watch these bozos because their head isn't on right!

Leaf & Grain is the spot to satisfy those cravings. This West University location is easy to find and it located on a corner of a large shopping strip. Parking is plentiful. Inside is spacious and is warm and inviting with lots of seating. Counter service is how they run business and they do it well with a great customer service. As I'm sure you've guessed from their name, they specialize in salads and grain bowls. The menu is not big by any means. A little more variety would be great. Both the salad and grain bowl categories have about 3 or 4 options each. They also have 3 plate options as well with chicken or seafood. If you're in the mood for a sandwich they have a few of those options as well. My eyes locked in on one of their seasonal warm bowls. In the summer months, they have cooler, cold options. My eyes locked in on the Massaman Curry. I'm a sucker for Thai flavors and this bowl was calling out to me. It came with a bed of brown rice, topped with chicken, peppers, onions, cilantro, spinach and topped with a curry sauce. They also gave a chili powder on the side if I wanted to make it spicy along with some peanuts. Yes please! The bowl was presented nicely. I mixed it all together and added a dash of the Thai chili powder. This dish was delicious. Not trying to be funny, but I wasn't expecting that much flavor coming out of a dish from a grain and salad spot. The ingredients were fresh and the curry was so flavorful. I tasted hints of coconut that made it slightly sweet, but it packed some heat to it as well. I loved the contrast in textures as well. I washed it down with a Mango Deck (mango, strawberries, banana, agave and coconut milk) smoothie which was a perfect, refreshing sip to go along with the spicy meal. Overall, I liked this place alot. Sometimes it's nice to have a meal without having a guilty conscience afterwards. I will definitely come back if in the area.

It's located in a strip center, so there is plenty of parking. I've been here numerous times, and I usually order their pho. During the hotter summer months, when I'm not craving a piping hot bowl of soup, I'll switch it up and get one of their vermicelli bowls instead. For pho, they offer a small bowl for $11 and a large for $12, with many protein options such as fatty brisket, well-done flank, tripe, tendon, and meatballs in various combinations. Their vermicelli bowls are usually between $12-15 depending on the protein. They also sell banh mi sandwiches, although I usually stick with the pho and vermicelli dishes. The dining area is very large, which helps because this place gets extremely busy on weekends, especially around Saturday lunch. Even when crowded, I usually don't have to wait long because there are so many tables. If you want to avoid the rush, I'd recommend coming a little earlier before the lunch crowd. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food usually comes out just a few minutes after ordering.
