Reading the negative reviews is comical - a salad joint like this, things are prepped ahead of time so you gotta consider things may not be crispy like the chicken in my Asian Crispy Chicken salad but it doesn't cause me to rate low for this place. Now if it were a restaurant where food needed to be made fresh and hot each order than that a whole different story. The girl was extremely helpful for my first time, the salad fresh and flavorful - Asian Crispy Chicken (not crispy as they prep ahead which is no bother to me), the complimentary bread - heaven and the broccoli cheddar soup ordered hit the spot. This reminds of Fresh Choice - for those that know my possible age, haha but better. Give this place a shot and don't be so dang nit-picky

Clean and neat establishment offering a wide variety of salad based meal choices. Good food quality. Nice outdoor patio with comfortable chairs.

My family wanted fast food near the area . I'm trying to eat better during the week . I like having a healthier option near us . Walking in this establishment is very clean and organized. I got greeted by Jett he was super friendly and very knowledgeable . He asked if I had been there before which I have but only for pick up . He explained how the ordering works and the options I have. I have to say the customer service I received today was above and beyond! For my food I ordered Half Cranberry 'N Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich & Half Avocado Cobb Salad it came with a bag of chips and a pickle . The food was very delicious. The portions are very generous . My tummy was very happy ! They had 16 salad dressings to choose from WOW..That is a lot !. They offer Wraps, Signature Sandwiches, Warm Grain Bowls, Soups, Panini Melts, Kids Works ,(kids meals) and Sides & Desserts. They have an option to build your own or you can pick from the menu . They also have a pick two which is what I got . Which is you can pick half and half of anything instead of committing to one thing. For drinks they have a nice fountain drink station offering Tractor Certificate Organic products . All the sodas are from that brand your typical soda flavors . But they also offer Black Tea , Hibiscus, Strawberry Dragon Fruit, and Farmers Punch all from the same Tractor brand pretty fancy drinks lol . I wanted to also mention the to go plates they have are very durable they feel like a real plate . I like attention to detail and that was a nice touch . Overall I will definitely be coming back . My food was delicious ! The service was amazing . It's nice to have a this place near by . I highly recommend..

I've had lunch at Saladworks a couple of times and meant to post this review much sooner. Their sandwiches are very good and I really enjoyed their salads as well especially the southwestern style salad, I forget the actual name. I believe they have catering as well and I will definitely look into them if I'm going to cater an event in the future overall it's a great lunch spot in Lincoln and I highly recommend everyone check it out.

I keep thinking to myself, why aren't there more salad places in town? With many people watching their diet and counting calories (including myself), I wished more of these types of food establishments existed. Back in the day, I used to go to "Pluto's" and "Fresh Choice" as my salad options. These days, at least in the Sacramento/Roseville area, I find myself frequenting "Jack's Urban Eats" as well as "Garden of Eat'n". Which takes me on a trip up Highway 65 in Lincoln where I got to try "Saladworks" for the very first time. What surprised me is that this business operates in 22 states in the United States with the majority of their restaurants in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. However, there are only (2) locations in California; one in Hollister (in between San Jose & Monterey) and the location I am reviewing, in Lincoln. This is a relatively new addition to this area as they opened for business in the spring of 2022. They are in a strip mall at the corner of Sterling Pkwy & Lincoln Blvd while they are surrounded by a "Mountain Mike's Pizza" and "Jamba". I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 8/19/2023 at around 2:45pm. Even though this was well past the lunch rush, it was quite busy with multiple customers dining in and a few waiting to order the meal. This gave me time to glance at their menu as they have a very nice variety of customizable and specialty salads, sandwiches, wraps, and paninis. The inside is spacious with ample seating throughout. Additionally, they offer a self-serve fountain drink area and a public restroom leading towards the rear of the building. Keep in mind that this location does not offer any outdoor dining. I ended up going with the 1/2 salad, 1/2 panini combination meal for $13.99 + tax. My salad of choice was their "Grilled Chicken Mediterranean" which included super greens lettuce blend, grilled chicken, roasted cauliflower, sliced cucumbers, roasted red peppers, red onions, and feta cheese. Since I went with some type of protein in my salad, I went with a vegetarian panini which was their "Tomato 'N Mozzarella"; this also included roasted red peppers, baby spinach, pesto sauce, and balsamic vinaigrette on rustic white bread. In addition to the salad & sandwich, I also received a pickle slice and small bag of Lays potato chips. Quite a bit of food for the price! As busy as it was, my salad and sandwich was prepared in a quick, timely manner. I will say that everything tasted amazing; the lettuce was cold, crisp, and refreshing while all the toppings were all represented perfectly. It was actually quite large considering this was a 1/2 salad. Even the panini tasted great and was very filling. I do have to say that eating this around 3:00pm carried me through the rest of my afternoon and dinner as I didn't need to eat any dinner. Overall, "Saladworks" is as good as it gets; very reasonable prices, large portions, excellent customer service, and a huge assortment of options to choose from. I hope they are able to expand to many more locations in and around the Sacramento area and Bay Area. Even in Southern California, this type of place would do tremendous business in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Inland Empire areas. My rating, a perfect five stars.

I ordered the Pick 2 for $12.99, choosing a 1/2 Farmers Market Salad and 1/2 Cranberry 'n Pecan Sandwich. The sandwich looked very enticing, but it didn't pack much flavor. I loved the plentiful, fresh salad with the roasted turkey and roasted butternut squash. Brussels sprouts were crunchy. With the Pick 2, you could choose two 1/2 salads or two 1/2 sandwiches if you like. I will probably choose 2 half salads in the future to figure out my favorite signature salad faster. One whole signature salad is $11.99, so that is the better deal if you already know what you want. You can create your own salad, warm grains bowl, mix of salad greens and warm grains, or wrap with 5 toppings for $12.49. You could also just buy a 1/2 salad for $8-$9. Every Signature Salad combination can be turned into a wrap or a warm grains bowl. Extra toppings and premium toppings cost $1.39-$2.99 each. Four choices in tortilla wraps: White, Wheat, Tomato Basil, and Spinach Six soup options. I did think a 1/2 salad was enough food. I don't think the photos are doing justice to the portion size. You might feel like you're getting more if you dine in given the salads are mixed in a large stainless steel bowl. Servers were friendly and enthusiastic to explain to first-timers how to order. Clean, cheerful dining room. You can ask to see the nutrition facts for the menu items, or you can find it online. The Signature Salads and the Cranberry 'n Pecan Sandwich are all under 500 carbs. https://saladworks.widget.eagle.bigzpoon.com/menus Salads don't normally appeal me, so it is exciting to find a delicious salad restaurant!

Looking at all my favorite deli meat options, beef, pastrami, ham, etc. I was "good" and headed for the vegetarian options. They have salads too. I selected a Deli Veggie Sandwich on my selection of marble rye bread and pepper jack cheese. That was $10.99 which these days isn't that bad for a sandwich. At the last minute before checking out I added the macaroni salad. For $3.69 it was tasty enough but a bit overpriced when you can get much more for slightly more in price at a nearby supermarket, if you want to make an additional stop. There's a small parking lot in back, which is convenient. The place is kinda cute on the outside as it looks like a small, simple shack. Inside the place is rather dark and dismal so I wouldn't eat there. There's a small outdoor eating area as well, and although rather exposed to the elements it might be a better choice than indoors if you plan on eating there. The staff were efficient enough, and more matter of fact than friendly in their greeting. It was pointed out to me to get the macaroni salad out of the self-service refrigerator. Now I know the drill in picking up a take out order. The sandwich itself was quite good. All of the ingredients were fresh and crisp. It was nicely prepared and the bread was also fresh and delicious. I was pleased with the size and tastiness. They have sandwich size options too. I'd go back when a sandwich craving hits. Overall, except for the physical appearance of the place, it's not that bad. Putting it in perspective it is a sandwich shop after all. Overall, I do recommend it.

We came in on a Saturday night with about 20 minutes until closing and were hoping to eat in the shop. Given the timing, I was fully prepared to be told that dining in wouldn't be possible or that the kitchen was closing early. Instead, Tim welcomed us in without hesitation. He enthusiastically shared his sandwich recommendations, let us sample the signature sauces, and explained where he sources his fresh ingredients and why that's important. During the meal, Tim treated us to extra chips, let us try their pasta salad authentically crafted by a 92-year-old Italian woman, and shared how he strives to make sandwiches with the same level of care his grandma showed when making them for Tim as a boy. I left the Sandwich Spot that night supercharge and thrilled knowing that there are still restaurants in my area operating the old-fashioned way. It's clear fresh sandwiches and excellent customer service are important to Tim and I can't wait to go back!
