My friends from New York were back in Oslo for Christmas and after 4 days of endless Christmas food we were all craving something else so we decided to find a sushi place: Saké happened to be the closest one and we were more than pleased with the result!
We decided to split a big plate of sushi and ordered some extra tempura rolls. It all looked and tasted fresh which I personally feel is very important when you eat raw fish. We also tried the spring rolls and the Tom Kha Chicken Soup. The soups was really good and went good as a starter before the sushi.
The atmosphere is really cool. We were there at an odd time so it was barely anyone in the restaurant but the interior is nice and the service was good. We always had water and the waiter check in with us on multiple occasions.
The house wine is also perfect to pare with the food, it is dry but well balanced.
Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely be back to try out more of their menu! read more
