The chicken dumplings were stuffed with ground chicken and mushrooms and were well cooked. For our main, we got the pad Thai curry noodle and the drunken noodles. Our friends enjoyed the drunken noodles while the pad Thai, even though we specified mild twice, was spicy enough. We then ordered a side of white rice to make it palatable. We also ordered dessert because of the spiciness of the main, and got the mango sticky rice and the fried bananas with ice cream. Both were good but I'd probably order something other than the mango sticky rice next time. One star off due to the service. Our waitress was very short with us. When we emphasized wanting the food to be mild, her response was a stern "I got it. That's how we'll make it." even though that wasn't the case, when we said we'll order the mains after we were meet with a huff and asked to hurry up and order the mains along with the apps because the kitchen was very busy that night, after noticing the pad Thai curry noodle was spicy, we thought of ordering a fried rice to manage the spice and her response was frowning to say that it would just take too long now and so we settled on white rice, and after that point we could barely hail her down even though she walked back and forth multiple times. It was like she was annoyed we were dining there! Overall, great ambiance and good food.

The website gave me a 25-minute pickup time, so we headed on over. Mays Bangkok is located in a small strip mall. Don't turn into the Home Depot like I did, as there is no connection between the two parking lots. In any case, I arrived about 20 minutes after placing my order and found that the food was already ready. The inside of this restaurant is tiny, with six four-top tables and then a small area for the host to stand. There was also a picture of a city I didn't recognize on one wall and a TV on the back wall. For dinner on this evening I ordered the green curry with chicken and chose a hot spice level, while my wife ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and a mild spice level. The menu described mine as stir-fried bell peppers, eggplant, and pea pods, while my wife's was described as stir-fried rice noodles, eggs, bell peppers, green onions, and cooked and raw bean sprouts. After getting back to our hotel, I opened the bag and was confused by my curry because it was definitely red instead of green. The ingredients were correct, though, which made it even more confusing. Thankfully, getting a red curry instead of a green curry wasn't a huge deal to me, and I did appreciate the flavor of the curry. It was also pretty spicy, but thankfully not enough to explode my head, and I was able to eat it without reaching for any water, even though it left a lingering heat in my mouth. The chicken took on the flavor of the curry nicely, and there were plenty of pea pods. I only wish there had been more eggplant. My wife also enjoyed her dish, especially the shrimp paired with the vegetables. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While I was disappointed that I received a red curry instead of a green curry, my food here was good, and I thought the price was fair as well.

Ask if they have the birds eye chili in fish sauce available on the side. Fish sauce smells very fishy so be prepared for that. Order your dish, medium, and have them bring that chili mixture on the side. Add as much little that as you wish. You will enjoy the burn in your mouth and the sweat on your forehead.
