I had an extremely disturbing experience at Sakura Jr Express and will never return. While eating my meal, I discovered what appears to be a baby cockroach embedded in the broccoli. This is not just unacceptable, it is a serious health hazard and reflects a complete failure in sanitation and food safety. Shortly after eating, I began experiencing nausea and vomiting. No customer should have to worry about getting sick from a meal, especially due to something this disgusting. I have documented everything with photos and will be reporting this to the local health department. I strongly advise anyone considering eating here to think twice. This is not a minor issue, this is a sign of a potentially unsafe kitchen environment. Extremely disappointed. read more

Ordered tonight for my family it may be the last time. Upon calling in my order the young lady on phone asked if I was really going to pick my food up this time as there system showed I didn't pickup the last time I ordered. I ordered Chicken katsu bento and my husband ordered General Tsao chicken. He liked his food because he had it before (so he ordered it again). It was my first time ordering from there. 1) chicken katsu was plain 2) they didn't add the katsu sauce to the bag, so my husband had to drive back the the place to get the sauce (it's about a 15 min drive) 3) when he got back he had two packs of sweet and sour packs (he said the lady said it was their katsu sauce) Apparently they don't know the difference between sweet and sour sauce and katsu sauce. AND it's a ASIAN restaurant!!!!! So i had to eat my plain chicken katsu with sweet and sauce. I would probably Try this place again but i wont ever order that plain ass Chicken katsu again. so I'm giving this a 2 star because 1) what is chicken katsu without the katsu sauce???!!! 2) my husband loved his food. read more

Today I spent almost $40 for 2 bowls (chicken and steak) and (chicken and shrimp) along with some steak and cheese rolls and I must say I am disappointed. The food was not good at all. I noticed this place after going to my dentist next door. I figured I'd give it a try. It's very clean, and the gentlemen at the cash register was very friendly and cordial. I ended up ordering the orange chicken lunch special which came with fried rice and egg drop soup. The chicken was good, BUT it was a little peppery for my taste, probably because I'm used to orange chicken being more sweet. The egg drop soup was hot and delicious! So my family and I wanted a few appetizers along with soup. The Shumia soup was delicious but all the appetizers shrimp, calamari and shumia dumplings were over cooked, dry and impossible to eat. If I could leave no stars I would. My family and I got through this whole meal and didn't notice until the end, A WORM in the rice. First off, the whole order was messed up and not what we ordered.. the taste was very bland and just overall not good. As I go to take my last bite of rice, I noticed this small black thing. Just left we ordered and paid for 1lb of crab legs and got 7.8 oz. I had to tell the lady to bring me a scale because they didn't understand it wasn't a pound. So she had to call the owner the owner had to translate for the cook. We had to sit and wait for our extra cluster. The lady at the register was nice but how the hell do you have a cook who sells by the oz and not weigh the food my order was $76. The worst I've ever paid for a seafood dinner. I suggest you train your cooks on using proper portions and basic English to understand how to fix a small problem like that. The fact that I had to have them get a scale is beyond me just to get them to understand what I was saying. read more

This is the worse place with the worse customer service!!!!!! If I could give them zero stars I would. I placed a order and they gave me the incorrect food when I returned to get my food corrected they refused to replace my food with fresh food, that some one else had, and also refused to refund my money. The manager asks for my number so he could give me free food as if I would give them my money a second time. Don't waste your time your time on a place that doesn't live up their mistakes and have piss poor customer service. And make them show you your order before they bag it. This was our first time here and we had a great experience! My husband and I both ordered the hibachi chicken. Our sides were a salad, vegetables, & fried rice. Everything was delicious but my only complaint was the salad was served with ranch dressing. I prefer a ginger dressing when I go to a Japanese restaurant. read more
