The best, freshest, and cleanest tasting sushi. Absolutely amazing. The craving for fresh, great sushi has been fulfilled. This place is so good! The lady was very friendly. She was very knowledgeable about the questions I was asking. Even showed me the best way to hold the chopsticks because I was having a hard time as I'm not usually eating sushi with chopsticks. I'll be back in this area next week, definitely visiting again! Probably at least 2 or 3 times. read more

My family and I typically eat there once every 3-5 weeks and we love it. Staff is friendly and talkative and the food tastes great. I usually get the salmon don with miso and ranch salad. Today I had to rush so I called up about 5 minutes out and they made my food for me before I got there, had a table with my salad and drink and swiftly brought the miso, salmon don and then the check as I finished each. I was in and out in 13 minutes with only half of my rice to go. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food! Picture is from April '23, but it's the same meal I had today. Yumm read more

The food was INCREDIBLE!! You wouldn't necessarily expect it when first looking at the exterior of the place but the atmosphere inside is cozy and very welcoming. The service was very good as well and even though they had ran out of the mochi, the server was very apologetic and everything went extremely well. The portions are also quite large! Me and my friend shared the bento box. Would come here again!! read more

This is my favorite restaurant in town! Before i moved here i was recommended by someone in Raleigh that said they have the best sushi around. Totally accurate. I love all of the sashimi it tastes so fresh! I will get the Mexican roll usually but there is also a roll that has white sauce on it that is very good. Their gyoza is also AMAZING. I go at least once a week and will continue to do so. read more

It wasn't what I expected at all. The fried shrimp tempura was absolutely disgusting. They don't bother to clean out the poop. It ruined our appetite biting into that. Also the sushi doesn't seem very fresh. The soup was somewhat cold but tasted old. It just overall wasn't a very nice experience. I definitely won't go back. read more

I love Sakura! They are super friendly and they always have sushi deals! It's not a big sushi restaurant but that's what I like about this place, it's a not so big, not so small restaurant. It's perfect for a night out by yourself or a date night. And the food is delicious! 10/10 recommend! read more

We visited this wonderful gem of a sushi restaurant in late July 2024 on a recommendation from Kathy at An Affair to Remember! It was DELICIOUS, reasonably priced, something for each of us! Our server was delightful and efficient! We truly enjoyed our visit...If we are ever in the area again (we live in VT) we will be sure to visit again! read more

Pretty solid sushi place. No frills. Very good service. I ordered the sashimi plate. Fish was fresh with good taste. Only complaint they put some sauce on one of the white fish which was a teriyaki sauce which was a bit salty and I'd rather taste my sashimi and add sauce by myself. Their hand roll was very good. I'd recommend it and would visit this restaurant again. read more

First time visiting the restaurant and the staff is really courteous. The price is reasonable and the chirashi sushi cuts were good thick portion. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the fish and garnish selection, large roe, hamachi/yellow tail, halibut, egg, would make it better. read more

A small, clean, and simple restaurant. The staff are always attentive and quick. Food has been nothing short of amazing and delicious. I have been here pre and during Covid. During Covid times, they are fully prepared with staff wearing masks, gloves and social-distancing. They are working at 50% capacity, so the customers are very spaced apart. First off I would love to say this place is definitely the hole in the wall you are looking for. I was very pleased by the hospitality of the staff right upon entering the establishment and the surprised by how fast the service was. If you are looking for a nice sit down place for sushi rolls for a decent price this is the place to go! It takes a lot to get my wife and I to feel uneasy. This is the most uncomfortable feeling I've ever had in a restaurant. Two gentlemen standing behind the sushi counter never took their eyes off of my wife and I and at one point took their phone out to take a picture or video in a way that they thought we wouldn't notice. In all the years we have been together I have never seen my wife get as shaken as she was in this restaurant. To top it off the sushi was awful read more
