First off, I went on their website to let them know that I was Very disappointed in the food & the Submit button doesn't work. Wasted time. I was there on 4/17/26, spent $93.80 for 3 plate combos. The food was barely good. The yum yum sauce was so diluted and they barely fill the cups halfway. I used to love the food, now it's just WAY OVERPRICED mediocre food. Definitely not worth the time or money---Don't go! read more

Alaisha was hands down the most pleasant and attentive waitress we've ever had in the Fayetteville area. Unfortunately, our raw sushi was a little more warmer than we prefer and the orange spicy sauce was heavily mayo'd. Maybe they have a specialty spicy sauce that is uniquely theirs but I wouldn't call it spicy sauce since it tastes mostly like mayonnaise. The hunt for a good dine in sushi spot in the Fayetteville area continues... read more

The service was awesome! Food and sushi was delicious! Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Nastiest attitude ever for a front desk or To go lady Always has a nasty attitude Never coming again read more

This place has been consistently disappointing. My husband ordered something for him and our 6 yr old. Gave him the wrong kids plates that had nothing but shrimp and onions. (He ordered kids chicken hibachi) and his steak was grey. The taste was terrible and our child doesn't eat seafood. Not to mention $50 + is way over priced for one regular adult meal and one kids meal. If it was really great, the price might be justified, but it's just another over priced, sub par restaurant for this area. Do not waste your time here. read more

I was surprised about the sushi quality, it was very good. The prices were fair - comparable to all the other sushi restaurant in Fayetteville and Hope Mills. Someone should start a half price sushi night, I think the first place to do that will draw ALOT of business. Great friend tofu, I ordered a Sopporo 22oz for 6.95 I've been partial to Nona Sushi lately, but Osaka is better. I will return. read more

The food was great. They did take a while to come but it's ok The California rolls were great tho I don't know why they cut the cucumbers in peace's when they could of just made it one peice but I did not make it so it's ok We also had shrimp tempura rolls it was very flavorful and delicious now the drinks we brought sprites for our daughters and the sprites had no syrup it tasted like sparkling water Luckily the waitress did give us another one but it still tasted bad it has syrup but it's fine when we got seated it smelt like gas the waitress was very nice read more

Food is great and service is amazing !sushi and hibachi were absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend!

If you're hungry and don't mind mediocre food, I guess it's an okay place to go. Their servings are huge, but the quality is pretty low. Got the steak and chicken hibachi dinner and had to spit out every second piece is steak because it was tough and chewy. They're really expensive also, but worth it. read more

I'd give them a zero if I could because the lady behind the bar was so nasty! I ordered a martini and this is what I got. About half a glass. I asked the lady behind the bar to top the glass off, and she said "If you want it topped off, you pay more money". THEN she talked trash for another few minutes about me asking for a full drink while my husband and I sat right in front of her across from the bar, wow! We spent a lot of money in the establishment. Poor customer relations by her! I was not pleased with her attitude towards me, and ABSOLUTELY will not be going back!!!! Maybe next time she won't be so rude and greedy and cheat people of a full cocktail. Our server was wonderful and was the only reason I gave them a 1. read more

Always great every time we go. The best sushi in Hope Mills area by far. We ordered online and it was ready right in time. The drinks are yummy as well. read more

Pre-COVID, we ate here a lot and thought it would be a safe place to eat tonight. WRONG!!! Seating at 100% capacity. When a party of four was seated right beside us, we complained that regulation seating was not in compliance (at the grill table), the manager told us they were busy and to keep our masks on. WHILE EATING?!? My reservation was for 10 seats to ensure my family of nine would have a buffer and she tried to give that seat away too. When leaving, we had to make our way through a sea of people at the hostess area. NO 6ft SPACING-NO ONE WAITING OUTSIDE!!! Our waitress and cook were great, but the manager and lack of COVID protocols were not worth it. read more

Hibachi and sushi are delicious and always on point. The service is always fast and friendly. The ambiance is calming.

So happy to have found this gem. We have only gotten take out and it has always been top notch so I can imagine that dining in can only be even better. Food is always fresh and well packaged. The portions are extremely generous and it always comes with plenty of extra sauces and chopsticks. My kids love it. Will continue to order as long as we are in the area. read more

Yep stars because the service is the WORSE here. The food is good but do not go if you have a schedule to keep. Being short staffed is one thing, waiting almost an hour and seeing a table sat after you be served before you, is unacceptable. Places like this make it hard to support businesses in your community. read more

Our first time here and it didn't seem like a busy night. Server and (maybe) the manager seemed nice. My family and I ordered a couple of sushi dishes and teriyaki with rice. I gave them 2 stars because it took forever to get my order - even the manager had to go back and ask for it. Also, when I ordered more sushi for my daughter, that took awhile too. But like I said it wasn't busy so not sure what was going on. Sushi was okay, but my husband's teriyaki was bland. Anyway fast forward, after eating there, my stomach was bubbling and let's just say (TMI), I was in the bathroom on and off for a few days. I didn't eat anything else after that and I wasn't sick before we went there so I guessed it was what I ate. Not sure if we would go back there. read more

Walked in today, and stood for 12 minutes. No one asked could they help me, offered to seat me, NOTHING. All while in plain site of 2 servers, one of the chefs AND the woman ringing others up. Absolutely no acknowledgement. So I walked out. Clearly they didn't need my money!!! read more

The restaurant smells weird. Ordered the fire flaming drink which came flameless. Drinks were watered down. Also ordered $60 worth of food and there was a bug in one of the meals; they gave us a $4.00 discount. Don't waste your time coming here. read more

Avoid Food is not bad thus 2 stars. Typical hibachi and below average cooks and show, nothing at all special. Cost should be listed as $$$$ though. Christmas evening, took my elderly folks. Two chicken and shrimp hibachi plates (nothing extra) and 3 teas cost $85 dollars. This place is a storefront restruant and far from upscale. Side note HVAC was not working and it was 50 degF inside and drafty with the big exhaust hoods running, annoying. I did not complain, it was Christmas after all, but will not be back. Way overpriced for location, quality, service and atmosphere. Online menu cost do not match actual. read more

Went to Osaka on a date, weekday around 4. The place was pretty dead and my shoes stuck to the floor the whole walk to the table. The place smells vaguely like urine or wet dog. My wife got a sushi plate and said it was alright and I got a bento box. The katsu was very dry and the dipping sauce tasted like ketchup, the vegetables and gyoza were under-fried. I do not foresee us coming back. read more

I really used to like this place. We went tonight for my husband's birthday and it wasn't what we expected it to be. The show was not a show at all there wasn't even an onion volcano or anything else that we are used too. I'm not sure we will go back. read more

My family visited Osaka this evening for an early dinner & we had a wonderful experience! We opted to sit at a Hibachi grill and ordered the volcano & kamikaze rolls, 2 adult hibachi dinners (steak & veggie) as well as a kids chicken hibachi dinner. The Chef made a wonderful meal for us all and put on a fantastic show. My 7yr old was particularly tickled by the onion volcano and the "Fireman" bottle our Chef used. Additionally, the server assigned to our table was very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full and our table space was uncluttered. The food was great. The rolls we ordered were presented beautifully -- I was shocked & delighted when the volcano roll arrived to our table on fire -- and they tasted even better than they looked! The steak hibachi was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice & veg had great flavor as well. This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a small strip center, I wasn't expecting it to be so good! We will definitely be back, and I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal & a good time! read more

Dude.... The service is probably some if the worst I've ever encountered at the host stand. From what I can tell, everyone cares but the owners or manager. I just went here for my last time. read more

Terrible customer service, and mediocre food. Sushi made my husband and I feel nauseated.

Good size rolls. The speciality rolls are awesome. Might need to order two of them just encase

Surprisingly good Presentaion and food. Very alive. I haven't tried the habachi yet but i intend to.

I'll keep this as short as possible. I could not even eat my "hibachi" chicken (more like teriyaki chicken) because it was so bad...and I am a hungry girl who is not picky. I also ordered the spicy tuna roll, which was the most bland sushi I have ever had in my entire life. My boyfriend's "green devil roll" was not much better. I feel like I just lit $70 on fire... read more

Randomly found this place from a friend. It was really good, fast service, good would. Would 100% visit again.

I love the sushi here, and the hibachi is good but the service absolutely sucks. Every time I've come to this location the servers have either been outright rude or just bland with no personality. You have to be nice to be a server, I can't imagine they make very good tips with service like that. read more

I'm from out of town and here for a wedding. Had a couple extra nights. So, we thought sushi! We checked out a few places online and we actually passed this place otw to a few day activities. Saw the reviews here and immediately chose it. Now onto the food/service. Service - okay. The hostess didn't seem to be in a great mood. Only had to wait a few min for a booth but there were plenty of hibachi seats available. Our actual server was friendly but didn't speak a lot of English (which is totally okay!) she didn't understand cherry Pepsi and literally put a cherry on my Pepsi even when I asked her to just put grenadine in it. But also that was okay. We got edamame and 5 sushi rolls. I highly recommend the Manhattan roll!!! So so good. Spicy tuna, caterpillar also amazing! None of them had a super fishy taste or tasted bad. The prices were a smidge high for their special rolls, but so worth it!! Highly recommend this place!! The bathrooms were also pretty clean! read more

This is a takeout review. The Hibachi steak wasn't cooked right. I asked for medium and received well done and tasteless. For $18 bucks I expect my meat cooked the way I ordered it. The Hibachi chicken was literally overcooked and tasted like chewing rubber. Asked for extra sauces and received 1 ginger and 1 mustard. I guess we won't be going back here now. I'm done with this place.... congrats! read more

The food was horrible. My husband and i got the steak and shrimp with veggies. The steak was dry and tasted old. How do you mess up rice? The rice was hard and also tasted days old as well. The portions were extremely small and we paid $30 for two plates. We get this same meal at Sapporo and it's always so good, but we thought we'd try something a little closer to home.. big mistake. read more

I give 1 star, the service was on time, and great! Food was awesome, (coming from a Floridian) but coupe days later I checked my bill as I left a cash tip. And they charged an extra 20$. If you eat here... CHECK YOUR $MONEY$!! read more

After reading all the good reviews about this restaurant, I've decided to take my family for some hibachi dinner. The sushi we ordered, dragon and lobster roll, wasn't too bad. The hibachi dinner, let's say I had way better. The fried rice was hard and the chicken wasn't cook that long. The chef devoured so much sauce that it look unappealing. Not sure if the chef was new or what but he just rush the cooking. read more

My boyfriend and I went there a few nights ago and were pleasantly surprised. Nice interior, clean, small amount of table, but I know most people go there for the hibachi show. Not a fan of the sitting at the grill so we sat at a booth and had lychee saki. Mmmmm!!! The shumai was okay not a lot of filling and at first it tasted like they cooked it on something plastic. Gyoza fantastic. We also started with a beauty and the beast roll and it was huge!! We both ordered the salmon and filet mignon hibachi platters with a side order of scallops. Our steak was cooked just to our order. The side order of scallops must've had a total of like 8 or 10 half pieces. The salmon and scallops were good but they but too much teriyaki sauce on it. The fired rice was great and the 2ps shrimp appetizer was awesome. Huge shrimp and a nice add on to my platter. You get soup and salad with hibachi platters. Overall huge and great meal! Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful. And since we didn't sit at the grill we only had like a 10 min wait. Definitely my favorite place in Fayetteville!!! read more
