My review is for Electrolysis. Do not go here for…read moreelectrolysis. She poked my face skin with the needle (leaving me with little bump scars) and did not remove one single hair permanently. thank God I do not have Keloid prone skin. A correct Electrolysis procedure goes like this; the esthetician slides a thin needle down the shaft of hair to the root then sends an electric pulse to the base of the hair to kill the root, where then the hair is suppose to slide out effortlessly. Kelly was poking my flesh with the needle (slowly) and then zapping me and then pulling the hair very slowly from my skin ( even though it the hair was showing resistance and still fully attached). I was in a lot of pain and upset because I knew was what she was doing was wrong. Then she asked me 2 or 3 times to pluck my eyebrows, I said No thank you (Nobody touches my brows besides me). Then she proceeds after numerous NO's to try and pluck the hairs at the edge off my brow. ( Like HELLO I SAID NO !!!!!!) wtf why? Also there's a strange urine ammonia smell going on down there I don't know what's causing it but the other client seemed not to notice as nothing was mentioned. hmm And when I brought it up to Kelly she said it was incense. incense riiiiiiiight. When she was done the poking and zapping and plucking she called electrolysis I was bleeding and the holes in my skin turned to scabs then scars. This happened months ago and I'm still upset I payed $35 to this woman for scars and pain no results!!! Don't bother waste your time, money or energy. This is my story beware.

First of all, my scrub and the 30 minute massage was perfect. Every thing went well…read more My complaint was the little cleaning woman who watched your every move. Despite the sign saying it was an unsupervised area, it was very supervised. She was on us the whole time. From the shoes, to the towels, to the hair ties, to the smoothies etc. It was so uncomfortable. I've been a couple of times before so I know you have to tie your hair up, I know you need to wear the shoes between pools, I know you're supposed to use the cubbies blah blah blah. She was on a mission man. I think I might stick with elm street spa. This was just over the top supervision.

Had an excellent time with a friend at Body Blitz. Super professional and helpful staff who walked…read moreus through all the available amenities and rooms. Everything was spotless and because we went on a Wednesday night we got to take advantage of a small discount on the body glow treatments and the limited guests in the facility. The aromatherapy steam room and the Dead Sea salt and Espom baths were so soothing and relaxing. I felt my sinuses opening right up in the former. Definitely would've liked if it was a little steamier or hotter in there because it was very much a walk in the park but enjoyable nonetheless! As for the treatments, I got a sweet milk and ginger body glow treatment which included a full body scrub, wash, and oil massage. It actually took me back to a Moroccan hammam experience I had in Marrakech. I absolutely loved it. This was an amazing experience but I gotta say it was NOT CHEAP. Definitely worth doing ONCE for a special occasions but I do wish it was more affordable to enjoy more often. I'd definitely come back whenever I return to Canada!
