Saks Off 5th is a pretty good place if you are looking for some high end fashion items at a discounted price. They offer clothing, shoes, purses, sunglasses, small accessories, and even a little bit of beauty products. So the variety is good, but I would not say they have a huge selection of items. After all it is a discount store so don't expect to walk in and think it's a big store with a huge selection like Macy's or some thing. But you can find some pretty good items. I have visited this store a couple times in the past on purpose. This recent visit was spur of the moment since I was in the plaza anyway. I love Off 5th and have shopped at different locations throughout the years. Since I'm from NYC, I am used to the actual Saks 5th Avenue. Off 5th is a great store if you want some designer items at a nice discount. I was not in a position to splurge the last time I was here but I found too many designer items I fell in love with. They usually carry mid-level designer items and sometimes you can find super high end designer items like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Prada. The first time I visited this location, it was a couple years ago and it was super busy. This recent visit, it was not busy at all. This last time was during COVID. They do require customers to wear masks and provide hand sanitizer at the entrance/exit. The staff were wearing masks and they are always friendly and pleasant. Saks 5th Avenue are luxury department stores founded in 1867 by Andrew Saks. They are owned by the oldest company in North America, the Hudson Bay Company and their flagship store is in New York. I grew up with Aunties who shopped and bought presents for the family there but I never really went there because it was out of my price range. Fast forward to today when I was out shopping for a dress. I was in the plaza shopping at another store and I saw this outlet and decided to stop in. I didn't have high hopes of finding anything and ended up being pleasantly surprised. Some of the designers they carry are Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tory Burch, Christian Louboutin, Valentino, and Givenchy. I had a chuckle at a Burberry sweater price tag. It sold in the store for $650.00 but you can scoop it up here for a mere $469.00 which is why I own nothing by Burberry. I did purchase a Karl Lagerfield, may in rest in peace, dress that sold for $128.00 in the store marked down to $59.99 and I saved another $10.00 off because it was on clearance. I scored clearance on clearance! Everything was organized and they had a pretty good selection. Right now the store is having an up to 80% off store wide sale. In addition to men's and women's clothes they sell some swank looking jewelry, handbags, and shoes. I was in a bit of a rush by the time I made it here but next time I want to scope out the wall of Ray-Ban sun glasses. Be careful buying designer bags. The discounts can be misleading. Purchased bag only to find out it is an outlet bag ( Prada). The outlet is selling bag 800.00 cheaper then off of 5 th. The staff is nice hence the two stars. read more

Although I love shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue on rare occasions thanks to its high quality goods, top notch customer service, and a luxurious atmosphere, I find Saks Off 5th to be intriguing and a store where you can get lucky and find luxury goods at a lower price than a regular department store. However, although it is enjoyable, Saks Off 5th just does not translate well as an off price department store. I went here yesterday with my Mother, as on a previous occasion earlier in the Summer, she had excellent luck finding a gorgeous pair of designer shoes at a much lower than average price. Once inside, we found the store to be large and well organized, making for a good shopping experience. However, one detractor we noticed right off of the bat was that the shopping carts do not work well. This was the case as the first shopping cart pulled to one side. We took another shopping cart, which was a bit better, but was still hard to steer. This was disappointing, as with a name like Saks, you would definitely expect better. In addition, compared to an off price offshoot of a luxury department store like Nordstrom Rack, the store, maybe due to the lighting that was somewhat dim, just did not feel as upscale as it could be. I know it is an off price department store but I have been in non-luxury off price department stores that felt nicer. Looking in Women's Shoes, my Mother found a shoe that she liked, although it was not in her size. Luckily, Marianne, one of the ladies at the register, proved to be kind and efficient, as she was able to locate my Mother's size right away and then had her fellow associate, Stephanie, get the pair of shoes my Mother had her eye on in the correct size. She then assisted my Mother by the shoe department so she could try them on, but unfortunately, the shoes, although my Mother's size, were just too stiff in feel. However, Stephanie, who was warm and patient, refused to give up, trying to find my Mother a suitable pair of shoes. Despite her best efforts, my Mother was not into any of the shoes, so we ended the shopping mission there, still thankful for Stephanie and Marianne's help. Although I feel Saks Off 5th in Boca lacks a bit of the upscale feel that other offshoots of off price department stores have, I still feel it is worth a stop when in the area if they have what you are looking for thanks to a unique selection and friendly staff. read more

WOW I AM NOT SURPRISED BY THEIR RATING! The employees at this store are RIDICULOUS. Absolutely no communication, no customer service and the worst part is they move slow as snails! I don't know if corporate trained them to move as slow as humanly possible but I was in disbelief. I waited forever for this young gentleman to get through ONE customer that he took before I walked into the store, had another cashier come after 5 minutes of me waiting and she said no more than ONE word to me as she barely moved. I was in the store for 15 minutes and as I walked out the young man was STILL with the same customer who had only 3 items. I will not come back to this store. No customer service. No smile. No hello. No getting me out of there in a reasonable time. Just frustration and long lines. read more

When I went to counter to return my items I mentioned to the gal that one of the blouses ran small I would like to know if they had a larger size .. she just looked at me and kept scanning the 2 blouses I was returning. I asked if the store sold waters again she said nothing . Then she looked at me I said am I finished she was like YEAH .... I didn't even bother. Never coming back to this location. There were problems at every register. One person was promised 10 percent off for opening a credit card. He asked do I get the 10 percent if I am not approved they said yes!! Then they refused to honor it. I bought sunglasses and she didn't have the case. This has happened before but this time she couldn't even give me a sleeve and she wrapped in their harsh paper as it was already a good deal. Then I noticed that others had different better coupons. I am really liking this location of Off Saks Ave, I'm not sure if the Sawgrass location is bigger or not but this one seemed more organized. The departments which I really liked were of-course the handbags and shoes. Handbags from Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Versace, Marc Jacobs and so many other designers are featured throughout the right side of the store. The shoe department is huge in the back of the store with many options in each size, there was a good amount of variety between the sandals and high heels etc. Sam M was liking the suit selection they had in the men's department. I'm being picky but the sunglasses are not organized by style or brand, they are randomly placed on the front left side of the store. Wish they would organize that better. Also the check out area is such a cramped space. I had two people bump into while I was at the check out counter. The sales associate at the check out was very nice and told about the future promotions they were running. All in all, I'll be back to this Saks.~ read more

Went nov 9 spent about an hour in there as I walked to go check out I wanted to glance at the sunglasses (mind you the associate was no where in sight) I was on the phone and the associate who sells the glasses came up and started reaching all over in my personal space I moved over and he came closer I asked him did he want me to move clear out of his way so he can organize and fix anything he needs he was sooooo rude and started to laugh felt racially discriminated because he asked a white couple did they need help and never asked me. would never spend one damn dollar here! For years i have been going to the Saks location in sawgrass mall but recently we have been going to the location on Glades and usually we pair it with Efes Bistro in the same plaza. This location is obviously smaller than the usual off fifth avenue locations but they have a lot of stuff and you don't have to fight parking and potential customers to get what you are looking for. When you are at sawgrass you have to find parking and than usually walk a good 15-20 minutes to get there which is not bad either if you need the exercise. But if you are lazy and don't want to fight traffic and save time this is a perfect store for you. The value is tremendous on most products and they have a good selection if you are looking for deals. I was able to get some really nice brand name stuff at up to 80% off. Ask for the rewards program as they send you savings offers via email plus if they have some special sales coming up. read more

Ordered two cashmere hats and one was delivered on Thursday with a packing slip for two. Have emailed and called customer service twice with no rely to emails and promises of an overnight delivery of the second hat on Thursday and again Friday. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be canceling my SAKS credit card - had it close to thirty years - and never purchase anything from them again. read more

Run do not walk from this location. Every time I try to return merchandise bought just three days ago they say their computers are down. There is a TJ Maxx a few store down with the exact same items at half the price. I called their corporate customer service and was on hold for at least 30 minutes before I hung up. I will have to have my credit card company dispute the charges since they will not let me return the items, when they return policy clearly says that I can. read more

I've shopped at this location for years. I have found some great items, but shopping here takes patience. The store is disorganized and brands move around all the time. Lately, I've noticed that the service is definitely slipping. The staff is either totally aloof/rude, or way too much in your face. On my last trip there, I could not even look at the sunglasses without the extraordinarily perky sales associate all over me. Look, greeting the customer is one thing, but attempting to be the customer's BFF - when they are clearly giving you all the signs they want to look around in peace - is actually very annoying. She offered to clean my glasses, asked me if I knew about the sale, commented on every single pair I put on my face, asked what style I was looking for, tried to talk to me about my shoes, asked me if she could hold the sunglasses I liked at the counter for me - all in a matter of a few minutes. It was just way too much. I finally had to tell her I was not in the mood for chatting, and I would let her know if I needed help. I go shopping to relax and enjoy some quiet "me" time. She was clearly not picking up the signals. Although she is friendly, she definitely needs some training in reading her customers better. In addition, the whole 6 item limit in the dressing room is a pain. The process to get dressed and undressed multiple times to get 6 more items to try on ruins the shopping experience.
