Another register did open and I asked the cashier who was wearing a shower cap with the individuals name is and all I got was I'm talking to someone she's the manager. I don't know who she was talking to. She was wearing a shower cap and head braces. That's the only way I can describe her. This store has become so pathetic. I live down the block. I drove 1/2 an hour to get here, you are supposed to close at 5, there are 3 of you here, even if 1 of you is leaving early to "pick up her granddaughter"!! And the 2 other workers at the register were commenting how ridiculous that I would "show up" so close to closing! I have shopped here often, and spent a lot of money. Their clothes are NOT inexpensive. If your door is open, I think the owner would expect you to allow the customer to enter. I drove to Barbara Katz, open until 6, found a gorgeous dress, and they were happy to make a $900.00 sale......so close to closing!!!!!! Don't think I'll be going back to CHUKKERS, at least not for a while!

On the way back, I decide to go to this "cheap" clothing store in the STRIP MALL and lo-and-behold - it ain't cheap at all. The owner was there and took me, recently a mommy the second time around, from frumpy to fabulous. Not only did she look me up and down ONCE and then proceed to put me in the perfect 7s jeans, hot dress, sexy knickers and boobalicious top, the prettiest Hanky-Panky's - she held it all for me as I did not have my wallet on me (only enough $$ for the libations...). When I went back to purchase my items ($6xx.00!!!!!!!) she had a tailor ready for me to have my too long jeans altered. It also help that she was hot and one wanted to look at hot as her. My friend who was with me made out pretty well too and both our hubbies have been pretty pleased with the end result! Never underestimate the power of a strip mall!
