Orlando is so lucky to have the SAK Comedy Lab. Have been to a few shows over the years and every time we say we need to come more often. We attended the family friendly Father's Day event and everyone had a great time - it was so nice to share the experience with our son (and my Dad) both of whom had never seen an improv show. Always a fun time!

Came here for an improvement competition and can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. Tickets are inexpensive and the show was absolutely fantastic. Best kept secret in Orlando.

A great night at the Bracket Brothers interactive comedy debate show!

We went to our first show at Sak Comedy Lab last night and we loved it! We parked in the 55 West parking garage which is attached to the same building Sak is located in. So you just head to the second floor and it takes you to the correct level. Doors opened 30 minutes before and the process to check in and get our seats was super easy. We actually paid a little extra to get VIP reserved seats so we had chairs waiting with our names on them when we went into the theater. It was totally worth the up-charge to us! In the lobby they have a bar that has wine and beer available for purchase along with popcorn and some snacks. The actual theater is set up really nice with a couple of rows of floor seats and then normal theater seating behind those. After having such a fun time at the comedy debate show we attended I know we will be coming back to Sak soon to see some more shows!!

I was skeptical about this place because I don't like when people try to be funny and they're not Place is super cool and great vibes. Fair prices for tickets and also at the concession Host was amazing and show was definitely very funny and spontaneous! Loved how they interact with the public! I'm definitely coming back and bringing friends!

SAK has moved locations! The new location did take us a few minutes to find. The staff was very friendly and the room seemed very clean. The prices have gone up significantly over the last few years. It is now $20.00 to attend the 7PM show. They did not offer any type of discount to stay around for the second show. Years ago they used to offer a discounted rate if you want to buy tickets to stay for another show. I had the fun opportunity to be a judge at the 7PM show tonight. It was fun being able to score the different scenes. If all 3 judges give a 5, there is a dance party that occurs. There were some really funny moments during the show. It was cool that there was also a live piano player on stage as well. I would highly recommend checking it out. It's such a fun thing to do with friends or family. The new building is nice, and the theater seems very well maintained. They do still have a bar available. I didn't specifically notice any food options. We got food nearby after the show. Overall very positive experience.

My absolute favorite date nite! My boyfriend got us tickets for the first time and we laughed all night. Drinks at the concession were decently priced. Some snack options available. Show started promptly and we laughed from start to finish. We went to the Saturday 9pm show. The show was a competition between the cast members with lots of audience participation. We will definitely be going again.

The host and the performers were brilliant! It was a great interactive show full of good vibes and laughter. It's a perfect activity to go with your friends, loved ones, and even just by yourself!

What a great date night! We went to the 7:00 p.m. show which is more family-friendly. At one point my husband and I were cracking up. The dance party was a cute touch. (I won't add any spoilers on what causes the dance party) We arrived around 6:50pm. Quite a few people were already in their seats. So I do recommend getting there early if you want lots of options. Otherwise it's a pretty decent sized theater so you do get quite the selection. The reserved seats were in the first two rows. All of the performers were really funny. The different ways they engage the audience to create the scene was super fun. When the two guys had to try and say the same thing at the same time I was dying with laughter. I'm not sure I could do that but kudos to them! We plan to go back for their later show. So I'm excited to see how that one goes. If you want to have more interaction with the performers I recommend sitting towards the middle and the back. We sat in the second row by the exit doors. My husband and I were in an introverted mood so it worked out for us.

I surprised my boyfriend with tickets to Saks for our anniversary. Purchasing tickets online was quick and easy. I opted for their 7:30 Duel of Fools show. We missed the recommended garage somehow (my user error when trying to look at my gps) and parked elsewhere, but if you park in the plaza garage you'll get a validated parking discount. We had a drink at a spot next door, and then popped over to Saks a half hour prior to showtime as recommended. Checking in at the venue was easy and the person working was friendly. Once inside, you can head upstairs to use the restroom and grab some drinks and/or snacks. We got a couple of beers and a popcorn and headed into the theater. Seating is first come, first serve with regular tickets so the earlier you show up, the more options you'll have. It wasn't super busy when we arrived so we got some great seats and settled in. The show absolutely exceeded my expectations! I love improv style comedy and the performers delivered. All of them were fantastic and great at getting the audience involved (without trying to make you do anything embarrassing which my introvert self appreciated!) The performers are so quick witted and talented and had both my boyfriend and myself laughing throughout the show. The 7:30 show is also pretty PG so if you have little ones, they can join in the fun. A family in front of us had a small kid and he was having a blast being one of the judges. Another family took advantage of a premium experience the venue offers in which you can have the performers base a skit on a specific person in your party. The skit was hilarious and the "victim" seemed to have a great time participating. This was a great experience and I'll definitely go back again!

Here the improvised laughs!

This allows for the wait staff (very attentive!) to get you drinks and food. Note there is a minimum order of 2 things per person. I don't think they cook anything in the kitchen. It seems like everything comes in boxes and styrofoam from a pizza place a few doors down. Price for a small slice of pizza and a garlic knot is ridiculous at almost $10. The $14 calzone was the size of a bread stick. Oh well. Good thing is that the comedians were funny. There was a host who did about 10 minutes, followed by a starter who did 15-20 mins, and then the headliner came on for 35-40 mins. Overall I thought it was a fun experience. Just be ready to shell out $$ for the laughs.

There are three different choices for seating. A hightop near the bar, regular tables at the bar, sitting at the bar, or sitting at a regular umbrella table by the pool. I guess that makes four options. I chose a high top. The menus are already on the tables and I was quickly seated and greeted by my waitress who asked what I wanted to drink and I ordered a club soda with lime. Yeah variety of good options for appetizers and meals ranging from a hummus salad to burgers to tacos and three kinds of fries including regular potato fries, sweet potato fries, and yucca fries. I opted for the shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and quite yummy. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said it is categorized as a soda but after some discussion she removed one of the charges. So I still had to pay three dollars for a club soda. If you're in the hotel and looking for some quick bite that are a decent meal or hanging out by the pool this is a worthwhile option.

I have been a fan for years and I have considered becoming a member. Members get free popcorn and other perks. This theater shows movies you don't find in the mass market and hosts film festivals. Ordering from your seats is also a plus. I always feel like this is an experience rather than just going to the movies. This nonprofit just got a big boost with new projectors that can show 70mm movies and a new surround sound system. When discussing projection, the bigger the number, the clearer the picture. 35mm film, in comparison, has a resolution roughly equivalent to 5 or 6K. And 70mm film -- which, as the number suggests, is twice as wide as 35 mm -- has a resolution closer to 16-18K. The new projectors can show both 35mm and 70mm films. Our server was incredibly short with us and came across as downright aggressive. At one point, he even told us we needed to order quickly because he was busy. Thankfully, we spoke with another waitress later who apologized and mentioned that he's usually very kind and was apparently having an off night. I appreciated her explanation, so I'll leave his name out of it. The bar itself was cool and had a fun ambiance, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, the food was a different story. We ordered the pork nachos, which were overpriced for what looked like a tablespoon of dry, shredded pork topped with canned cheese. We took a few bites and decided to cut our losses. Would I go back? Maybe for the atmosphere, assuming the service is better next time. But based on the food alone, I wouldn't return. Honestly, I've had better food at a fast-food drive-through.
