My husband and I really enjoyed our Saturday night meal here. The restaurant was busy but not full - there was room in the car park and spare tables for walk-ins. The service was efficient and friendly - we were asked to order drinks before we even sat down, so things kept moving at a brisk pace. We took recommendations from our server, who was very personable and wore a big smile on his face. After our poppadoms, we got our mains of Chicken Tikka Punjabi Mossala and lamb Nawabi Khana, a side of Sag Aloo (potato and spinach), garlic chili naan, and pilau rice. First of all, nothing was greasy, and everything was truly full of flavor. The Nawabi Khana was described on the menu as the most complex of all the curries, and it truly was - you could taste a plethora of spices in each bite, it was really impressive. The lamb was tender, and the sauce was gorgeous, it had a truly home-cooked flavor. The chicken tikka was also good - nicer than the average chicken tikka masala, with a lot more flavor and very juicy chicken. I love that their vegetarian dishes are available as sides - often they are only available in main sizes - so for only a few pounds more, you can get a nice veg. The garlic chili naan was lovely and light. We made short work of it all, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll surely be back! Order off the house specials menu, and take the servers' recommendations if you want the best experience. read more
