DO NOT SHOP AT ANY SAGE. THE ESSENTIAL OILS ARE VERY BAD AND DIFFUSERS ARE A RIP OFF! NOTE" THE…read moreCLAY AND CERAMIC DIFFUSERS BREAK AND WILL NOT BE REPLACED UNDER LIFETIME GUARANTEE ". I only had this diffuser for 4 months. It's such a shameful and pathetic place. Sure smells good and looks nice but the sales people and manager Sean are ROCK Bottom. Sales staff Happily told me they replace broken items under their guarantee when I bought 2 diffusers and asked questions about replacement policy. But they didn't tell me The BREAKABLE covers aren't included in the guarantee. If I knew that- I would not have bought the most expensive Breakable ceramic diffuser! I asked because the cover *is breakable- ceramic, clay etc* It was their most expensive one over $180. 'YES', sales person said at Christmas ---'we even replace without a receipt!' ...Wow, great!...as I stupidly believe them and walked out satisfied .... And last week, the sales person said' No problem...we will call you when the cover arrives... And today when when it came time to see if the replacement arrived...ALL HELL broke loose. They accuse me of being ' rude' for trying to explain to sales guy what we were told about the guarantee...as HE kept interupting me. We Tried to explain to manager Sean what the sales people told us but were shut down by the ugly and angry look on his face before we got a chance to talk...He said:' it could take months or a year to get a cover...if somehow we have an extra one lying around.' WHAT? Sean sneered at us when I said: You need to hear us out- perhaps your extra staff at Christmas said the wrong things to us?. Sean snapped back with a laugh: We don't have Christmas Staff' Do you want to be demeaned? I don't. Being sneered and laughed at makes for unsettled people. I thought since Sage told us broken items will be guaranteed and replaced, Management would agree: Im sorry they said that, it's not true but since this is on us and we value our customer- here is a replacement diffuser for you. But they weren't specific when I bought: Hey- you dumb, dumb customer- there is The diffuser and there is The cover. TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. SAGE HAS A NASTY, HIDDEN POLICY that allows Staff to abuse customers. I have never been so degraded in my life. Your hidden policy of replacing broken diffusers are not clear and sales team lies and is not transparent. Hey, these covers are breakable and that's why I asked them to explain guarantee. Sean and his sales boy just both attacked us like two very angry and entitled people. Like a cat fight...how stupid!. No wonder this world has issues. It starts in the community- street level. If I can't be treated with kindness at Sage....then how can we expect people to behave in bigger, more important issues. I have never seen two sales people chew me and spit me out like a piece of garbage over a diffuser! Sage: You lost my respect. I despise you on Robson and I will never go back to any Sage store...even though i have periodically shopped for more than 20 years. And I will make my experience known. I spent $400 on that one sale and you treat my husband and I like filthy garbage. They caused me a lot of emotional streaa. When I ask if a breakable item is under guarantee and I am told Yes, I expect that to be true.People: don't shop here! There are better diffusers, certainly better quality essential oils online. . through well.ca or Whole foods or a Natural food store. Gawd... Consumer advocates will know about this egregious behaviour and lack of transparency.

I was surprised at the time but we decided to give them another chance as they had been good in the past. I booked an appointments for manicures and pedicures for my two girls 5 days in advance. Big mistake. We arrived for our appointment and there were only three techs for 5 people who were already in the salon. With us, that was 7 people there for services. It appeared to me that the 3 people sitting in the pedicure chairs were just beginning their pedicures. The tech asked me if we had an appointment and I responded that we did. I asked her if it would be long as I had another appointment to go to and she said they would take one of my daughters right away and the second one within 10 minutes. It was not right away. We sat there and she called my first daughter up 20 mins later. She put her in the chair for the pedicure, filled the water up, had her soak her feet for less than a minute and then immediately emptied the water. I sat there completely stunned while my daughter looked at me and shrugged. The tech (owner of the salon) then proceeded to race through cutting her toenails and removing cuticles. This did not resemble any kind of pedicure service we had ever experienced anywhere. It was then that I noticed that the tech was using the same pedicure tools that had been used on the customer who had been sitting in the chair beside my daughter on her. The tools had not been sanitized. My other daughter was called up in the middle of this. By this point, we were 30 mins past our appointment time. She had my second daughter sit in the chair and then proceeded to go back to a different client. At this point, I had had enough. I told both of my daughters to get up and that we were leaving. I told the owner that if they were running late for my appointments, they should have informed me as I made my appointment 5 days prior. She said nothing. No apology, nothing. When we got home, I noticed that the sides of my daughter's toes had been nicked by the tools used, most likely because the tech was rushing so much to finish. Absolute garbage customer service. Unsanitary tools. Rushing through services. There are a lot of nail salons in Langley to choose from. We won't be going back to this one and I can't see them lasting much longer if this is their new standard of service.

We ended up getting the Emerald Elixir, a blend of green, yellow, and white teas with an incredible pure green tea flavour. I can't speak for any of their other products, but I've been very impressed with the tea and their price point is more reasonable than some of the larger chains. They've also got a VIP membership which allows you to get deals and discounts such as buy one get one half off. Overall I really enjoyd my experience at Silk Road Tea and look forward to going back soon when I run out.

This time I had an experience where the stylist listened and actually delivered! When I arrived, for my consultation on July 3rd, I was warmly welcomed by Zac and offered a cup of tea or coffee. In real china, not paper cups. It's a small thing but a nice touch! I booked an appointment for next Wednesday. When I arrived for my hair appointment, Navie greeted me and was prompt and social. His confidence showed no hesitation in cutting or with styling. He seems to enjoy his craft. In an hour I was done and good to go. Checking out/ payment was easy at the front desk. I especially appreciate not giving me the hard sell on the hundreds of products that lined their shelves. Five stars. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Navie again.

This is where I come for new collection nail polish. They have every possible shade of OPI available! The collections are so quick to update that I can always find the newest collections of OPI there (in stores) before anywhere else. They carry new collections in all the other brands too. Pretty much if you can't find the nail polish/product you want at your local drug store, you can almost definitely find it here! Buy more, and the price comes down per bottle. It starts off at just under $10. With each extra bottle you buy, the price comes down by a $1 per bottle! It's a pretty sweet deal for a nail polish addict - me!!! The staff... I never want to talk to them because they can be so pushy. Although I have no problem saying no, they are relentless! The trick is to tell them you already know what you want. I don't like pushy sales bc it turns me off and I leave the store but knowing that someone acknowledges my presence w/o feeling pressured to purchase is a gold star. I was looking for something to lighten up my break out marks and the sales, Mandy, recommended me this serum from Green Envee (1st time) and Guinot (2nd time). Another reason why I return to this store is their buy $50 get $10 coupon (for the following quarter mths). Its a way to do business keeping ur customers but if the prices are the same for some of the brands you can find elsewhere ie. The Bay, Sephora, Murale, etc. why not get it here when u can get a $10 coupon for future purchase, gift with purchase (depending on which brands) and lots of free samples? The Bay offers 10% cosmetics and fragrances from time to time only and gift with purchases (certain times for each brands), Sephora offers points... no gift with purchase and sometimes 10-15% off Sephora days and no samples or rarely...
