They used to play at Candlestick Park for many years before moving to Oracle Park, which is a must stop for all lovers of baseball and the best food at any stadium. They even have a Ghirardelli. What more could you want. Everything they have there is great. All of the food is the best. They serve the best sundaes and they have pizza that is not just some frozen junk. And the crab sandwiches are great. We love their uniforms. They have special game nights. They often play super well and they are good sports. So, maybe they did not win the series this year--Who cares. They are a great team, in a great stadium home and they have sundaes--anything else.

Monday, May 25, 2026; 2:05 pm game against the D-backs at Oracle Park…read more We arrive via Bart to the Montgomery Street Station. This is the station right after the Embarcadero Station and a shorter walk to the ball field. It took us approximately 22 minutes to walk according to google. I didn't' time it, but that sounds correct. We didn't take the train to the front of the stadium. After a long ride on Bart we wanted to stretch our legs before sitting down again. It was a quick walk as we chatted with friends. We came all decked out in our Jerseys. I wore a Willie Mays jersey that fit perfect. Since it was to be a little chilly I wore a black thermal top under it and a Giants windbreaker over it. It was perfect. Our seats were in the sun so as the sun shown I shed my jacket and when the clouds came I put it back on. That happened the duration of the game. The walk was brutal to get to the top deck. We walked up ramp after ramp. Apparently we missed the escalator entrance. Next time we're going to have to find that entrance. We're going back the 10th of June, 2026 so we have a little time to figure it out. We also have time to figure out parking as we are taking my dad and don't want to have him deals with Bart and the long wall. There is also the ferry which we should have taken as it would have been a shorter walk. Sadly it's not running on JUne 20h so that is out of the question. Parking is going to be expensive, but worth it for the connivence for my dad. This is our Father's Day gift to him and he deserves the best. We were all the way at the top and I didn't realize that the burger I wanted was on the 3rd deck. We were committed to the top deck to so we had to forge for food. They had lots of sausages and popcorn, but I really wanted my burger. Half way down the deck I found an offer of burgers with 2 patties and a side of garlic fries for $22. That sounded outrageous as it wasn't even a name brand burger it was just normal ball park food. Oh, well if I wanted a burger this was the only place to go on our deck. My fries had a little amount of the garlic on top while our friends was piled high with garlic. He got the hotdog and garlic fries combo. He really lucked out. The fires were crispy like I enjoy them. Especially nice since I don't eat soggy fries and usually the garlic fries are soggy due to being piled high with garlic. The burger was actually really good and filling. After the burger I no longer had room for the Girardelli Sunday. I was so sad as I really wanted one. In addition the cart was at our level a quick walk from our seats. It's usually never that close. Next time I'm going to have to eat less. I'm not sure if that is possible as I only ate half the burger and shared the rest with my husband so I really didn't eat a lot. It must have been that double patty ti came with. It didn't advertise a double patty, but that's how it came. We also brought snacks in a ziplock as we totally forgot our clean baseball bag. We brought skinny pop that had no flavor, a total disappointment. Ranch Sunflower seeds. The boys loves those two treats. I also brought some dried mango that were delicious in my opinion, but I had no takers form the boys. The seats were high up, but we couldn't complain as they were only $10. What a deal. They had a one day sale and we snagged 4, but ended up with only 3 of us. Not a big loss since they were so cheap. We had a great view of foul balls and home runs. We really got to see those home run balls fly to the outfield. There were some really. Good plays, but we still lost. That was so sad. Overall we had a fun time and we look forward to going back June 10th for a mid week game sitting at club level seats. Not $10, but still a good deal. It will be more convenient for my day, better views and closer to the bathrooms and hopefully the lines will be shorter. I found the bathroom lines to be very long in the women's room. I was surprised because when we go to the AAA team the RiverCats the lines are nonexistent.

Some people don't know this, but there are actually two main parts to the Pride celebration, the…read moreparade which stretches along Market street from Embarcadero to 8th/Hyde, and the festival at Civic Center Plaza, which includes a security check entrance (clear bags or tiny clutches only are allowed) and an entire lineup of festival offerings including food and drink tents, merchandise vendors, an entertainment stage, grassy areas for picnicking, and more. This review is only for the festival (see my separate review for the parade...yes Yelp has another listing for that). After watching the Pride parade, we headed over to this event at the Civic Center Plaza. The security line went quickly, and once inside, we got to explore a number of interesting vendors, getting ourselves a few goodies, including some cute sunglasses and lovely matching outfits, lots of great colors and designs to choose from. And of course, a strawberry covered funnel cake. It was delish! There were at least two vendors selling funnel cakes, along with endless offerings for other diverse foods and desserts throughout the festival. Of course, we could barely move through the massive crowds, so we stuck with our first find and settled at a spot in the grass to enjoy our sweet treat. These are some of the biggest crowds I've ever experienced, mainly in the areas near the food tents... you can barely move and don't even know where the lines for vendor tents end. A tad too crowded for comfort I gotta say. Also, though I appreciate that there were few or no lines for drinks, I feel there were way too many bar booths and not enough restrooms/porta potties, they could have balanced that out a little better... those restroom lines were ridiculously long (I'm gonna guess at least 30-45 minute waits in the afternoon from the looks of it), so much that we just left the whole event to use the restroom elsewhere. I was still enamored with the lively atmosphere here and the diverse offerings and opportunities for attendees to engage with their community and just enjoy this giant outdoor party and celebration of acceptance, self-expression, and love :)

I was here for the Annual Celebrity Sweat Flag Football Game featuring Dwight Howard's team vs…read more Quavo's team, which included athletes, entertainers, and influencers. The stadium is very clean, and the layout makes it easy to get around without feeling chaotic. Parking was smooth thanks to the nearby parking garage, which made arrival and departure stress free. The exterior of the stadium has a classic, almost Rome Coliseum-like vibe that gives it a grand, historic feel as you navigate around. Food wise, I decided to try the chicken tenders with a side of tater tots. The chicken tenders were decent, and the tater tots were too crunchy like it was overcooked. All in all, it's a nice stadium with good facilities, clean spaces, and a beautiful stadium exterior that stands out. It's worth a visit for games and special events, even if the concession food could use some improvement.

Oski's Village is open three hours before kickoff for every home game. Our experience featured a chicken and waffle food truck, local brews from Almanac, an amazing live music performance (and conga line thru the crowd), an Oski appearance, fun kiddo/adult lawn games/entertainment, photo ops, and more festivities. It's been a minute since I've been to this Stadium, and I will say it's a beauty! I dig the local collabs with food and bev, awesome staff, and just nostalgic feels within the interior/exterior. And the marching band...the marching band! We def sat in the nosebleeds, but even the crowd is super cool and kiddo-friendly. There's just something about a hometown college team that you can't do anything but smile and root for..also, my college didn't have a football team so maybe that's a bias :)) All in all, Oski's Village made it quite the experience for everyone..appreciate game day inclusivity for young ones too! We took BART to/from the game, supporting East Bay transpo + athletics thru and thru. Highly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time!

The cast of Knockoff Broadway put on such an entertaining performance at All Out Comedy Theater…read morethis past Saturday. The theater room didn't open till a few minutes before the listed show time. But they had a lovely lobby for waiting, full of color and character. And basic snacks and drinks were sold on site (chips, pocky, soda, beer, etc.). The show started about 12 minutes late and lasted exactly one hour (8:12-9:12pm). This was your typical improv show with talented individuals acting out their creative ideas on the spot, but with a unique element which made it different from the many improv events I've been to... the cast breaking into song on stage during various parts of the story. Everything was improvised, even the awesome tunes played by three musicians on the drums, keyboard, and electric guitar. Audience suggestions were taken in the beginning, three ideas total narrowed to one via votes by applause. The theme of the night (and title of the knockoff musical) ended up being "Landfill". The performance had the crowd bursting with laughter at scenes including skunks falling in love to a doo-wop number and a wannabe artist turning poop into beauty (a sculpture made of poop lumps), as well as lessons and reminders that "the world can be a dump but it doesn't have to be!" The performers were hilarious, the music and made-up lyrics were fun, and the show overall was lighthearted and enjoyable. And since it's improv, it's never the same experience. So it's worth coming back to see Knockoff Broadway's quirky musicals again and again, or to check out one of the many other shows featured at this venue, like puppets, magic, and mental health comedy.

I'm not a really a baseball fan, but I do rep Oakland sports teams…read more So, I didn't know this was going on, I was just headed to Jack London Square to hang out for a bit and stumbled upon the A's Fan Fest! Lots of A's fans here, obviously, and it was actually a fun time. Free admission, live music, Oakland A's players and coaches, past and present, mascots, food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. I haven't been to an Oakland A's game in a while, but after attending this, me thinks I'll be making my way back to the Coliseum for a game or two in the very near future!!

One had to pay to get in for the fanfest. Somewhat feeling like being ripped off for the prices of admission and food, I did not attend the fanfests of 2015 and 2016. This year (2017) the venue has changed to another location - Jack London Square - which is a big improvement. It's free admission and there are food trucks galore. Yay....yes...Roderick's BBQ! The food trucks there included Curry Up Now, Mozzeria, Smoke's Poutinerie, Lezie's Frozen Custard, Rice Rocket and a gourmet Mexican/Korean. The food was free to all fans on the condition that the fan had to get a ticket at each food truck line entrance. The ticket was "good for one FREE menu item. Limit one ticket, per fan, per food truck..." (Quoted comment from the Schedule of Events information sheet. I do not want to be called out for plagiarism.) The Schedule of Events listed a variety of activities for everyone's enjoyment. The weather was perfect for this weekend outing. Despite the long lines of fans waiting to do the photo ops, meeting the current team players, the Hall of Fame racers and Stomper, hearing about building a new ball park at Howard Terminal, brought a smile on my face. It was also great to have 95.7 FM doing some of the interview sessions. The fans were also happier and I heard nothing but good things being said about the venue, i.e., it was much more organized and there were activities for the younguns. Finally, all I can say is thank you, Oakland A's, for restoring my faith in this year's fanfest. You guys did not disappoint. Let's go Oakland (clap clap clap clap clap).

2023 Pride Parade was exceptional. A most loud & supportive crowd and everyone was having so much…read morefun. I think this is San Francisco's middle finger to the haters out there in god's country. I totally get that many people are upset about the corporate "takeover" & abundance of straight people. Well, that ship has sailed. I skipped a couple years cause it was getting boring watching the parade of, as another reviewer described, matching shirts. But the combination of COVID fatigue & political climate seemed to have changed the atmosphere this year. There is an alternative. More in keeping with the origins of the Pride Parade is the 4th annual People's March and Rally, which takes place at the same time, starting at Polk & Washington Streets and ending at Fern Alley. In my opinion, this is the time for everyone to come together. It's those corporations that fund the parade so you don't have to pay admission, like in SoCal. The presence of so many straight people and their small children is the crowds way of showing support. Pride is celebrated, essentially telling the LGBTQ community they are not alone in their fight for equality. As is tradition, the Dykes on Bikes kicks off the celebration. There were marchers for trans rights, keep LGBTQ books in libraries, free hugs, school children marching, everyone dancing, flag waving, signs, balloons, creative costumes, cheering, roller skates, bands, politicians, airlines, SFPD, SFFD, recycling ...much etc I'm never leaving the Blue Bubble
