Unfortunately, the pickup experience at the Fashion Show location was disappointing. The associate who assisted me was not welcoming and provided very little communication throughout the process. She asked for my ID, but the order wasn't under my name, and I had to explain whose name it was under. Her lack of communication made the entire interaction confusing. After checking in, I was left standing there with no explanation of what was happening or how long the wait would be (it's was nearly 20 mins). I eventually had to approach her and ask what exactly I was waiting for. Only then did she explain that someone was retrieving the item, needed a key to access it, and was in the process of locating it. That information would have been helpful from the beginning. A simple explanation such as, "Someone is retrieving your order and it may take a few minutes," would have set expectations and made the experience much more pleasant. Instead, I was left standing there wondering whether I had checked in correctly or if something was wrong. Neiman Marcus is known for its customer service, which is why this experience was so surprising. While the online ordering process was excellent, the pickup experience fell well below expectations and left me questioning whether I would use the service again.

Very Disappointing Experience at Coach Venetian…read more My wife and I are in Las Vegas for a few days and stopped at the Coach store at The Venetian. She found a pair of shoes she loved. The manager personally brought the pair out of the box, she put them on, purchased them, and wore them out of the store. The associate at the register told my wife she had 30 days for returns or exchanges, knowing she was wearing the shoes when we left. About 20 minutes later, after walking around the indoor shops on polished marble floors and carpet, my wife took one of the shoes off and we were shocked by the condition of the soles. They had extensive dark scuffs, marks, and wear that did not look consistent to us with approximately 20 minutes of indoor walking. When we looked at the box more closely, the tissue paper was also heavily crumpled and looked like the shoes had been handled before. We immediately returned to Coach. My wife did not want a refund. She loved the shoes and simply asked for another new pair of the exact same shoes. The manager refused, saying that once she wore them out of the store they could not be returned or exchanged. That was extremely frustrating because this same manager was the person who took the shoes from the box and handed them to my wife. She had no reason to turn over and inspect the soles before purchasing them because she reasonably believed she was being handed a brand-new pair of shoes. I even asked the manager whether the store had cameras. He confirmed that it did. I asked whether the footage could be reviewed to help determine the history and handling of this pair, but he would not do so. We cannot say whether these shoes had previously been worn or returned, but based on the condition of the soles after such a short period of indoor wear and the condition of the packaging, we had a legitimate concern and asked for a very reasonable solution: exchange them for a new pair. We weren't looking for money back. My wife wanted the shoes. We simply expected a new pair when purchasing new shoes from Coach. What should have been a fun purchase during our Vegas trip turned into an unnecessarily disappointing experience. I have photos of the soles taken shortly after we discovered the condition.
