There are 3 elephants Paige with longest teeth, Jeanie with a little short ones , and Krissy with none. With poaching increasing, the number of Krissy's are increasing. That will keep them safe I guess. Not sure why the previous reviews are so brief. We got to learn about them, feed them carrots, even phones if u r willing to give away ( ha ha- Paige really seemed to want them), how to keep their foot and nails in shape, bathing them so on and so forth. This was the first time I had heard a live trumpet and it was adorable. In the end we posed for pics. They are tamed and trained no doubt, but seemed to be enjoying our company and well treated by their owners. They have plenty of parking. Tickets are purchased online, most often they are open only one weekend a month. Restrooms are available. Food not allowed, but a bottle of water is ok. The manager didn't even call me to inform me that the party was cancelled. I had a scared kid calling me. It's beyond unprofessional. Absolutely do not book with them.

Plus, they have some animals inside the lobby area - snakes, hedgehogs, other reptiles, etc. Then you head outside to the main part of the experience. You can walk amongst the tortoises, get "attacked" by all of the birds in their sanctuary, join the goats and pigs in their pen, and they even brought out a 14 foot snake for people to hold and take pictures with. Everyone here was incredibly nice, too. We were only there for about 45 minutes, but for $40, it was worth every penny.

We were greeted at the side door by the grandmother, who gave us a personal tour. We saw chickens (who were really running the pecking order), goats, pigs (living their best hog life), ducks (quacking us up), a rabbit (hopping into our hearts), and a cat who clearly thought it owned the farm. The snow cones were super delicious- actual shaved ice. There are amazing photo ops and I took beautiful pictures of my kiddos. There are several fun pockets and experiences on this farm and it's very kid friendly. As a mom, I'm always having heart attacks because kids love to do crazy stuff, but here I felt very relaxed. Next time I would have them wear mud boots (our tennis are caked with mud). The strawberry fields weren't extremely muddy, but there were pockets of mud out there. We are eating the strawberries and my toddlers are thrilled and proud because they collected them. I just need to get a jam recipe to make this day last a few months. The fall festival has a pumpkin patch, corn maze, pig races, candy cannons, apple blasters, flower picking, face painting, a tractor train, jumping areas for kids, and all sorts of little games and activities. There's also a small market where you can buy produce and other specialty grocery items. Admission isn't terribly expensive at $15 on weekends and $10 during the week, although some activities cost extra. My biggest disappointment was the pumpkin patch itself. For a pumpkin patch in mid-October, there were surprisingly few pumpkins, and the selection wasn't particularly good. That seems like a pretty major miss for what should be one of the main attractions. I will give them credit for the corn maze, though. It's a decent size and one of the better-executed parts of the festival. There are also plenty of photo opportunities with old tractors, trucks, and other fall decorations scattered around the property. We visited last year as well, and not much has changed. They added a tiny petting zoo, which consisted of three goats and a cow in an enclosure that couldn't have been much bigger than 8 by 12 feet. They charge an additional $3 per person for that, which seems a little ridiculous given how small it is. They've also added a few other activities, but much of the festival feels tired, worn down, and like it hasn't been meaningfully improved in years. I think the biggest issue is the overall organization. The festival feels like a hodgepodge of activities that have been added over time without much thought given to how everything fits together. There's no clear map of the property, and the schedules for things like the pig races and candy cannons aren't communicated particularly well. You almost have to stumble across activities or already know when they're happening. And this isn't some tiny operation. The place was absolutely packed with people, so clearly there's plenty of demand for what they're offering. I just wish they would put more effort into improving the existing attractions, maintaining the property, and organizing the experience. I think Froberg's has the foundation for a really great fall festival. The variety of activities is there, the corn maze is good, and it's certainly a popular destination for families. But right now, the whole thing feels a little thrown together and underwhelming. With some better planning, more attention to detail, and improvements to the existing attractions, this could be a much better experience. For anyone looking at the negative reviews of others experiences not being able to interact with animals, perhaps you could consider coming in earlier during the day (we came right when they opened at 10am). We were told by staff that for some animals they are more active in the morning since it's their feeding time and by the afternoon they are already resting/hiding. Within a 1 hour timespan, we were able to interact with the sloth, anteater, capybara/cavy, penguins and birds. There were less people in the morning so I think that also helped. It was overall so much fun!! Being able to come in and see the animals up close was so unique and incredible. Every single staff member we met was also amazing and friendly. They were so knowledgeable and you could tell they really cared about the animals. I also wouldn't take it personally if they didn't allow us to interact with the animals, that's most likely for the animals well being! It's already stressful enough for them to be in that kind of environment! Would highly recommend visiting and paying extra to interact with the animals if you can afford it!

I assume a crew member or animal costume person would come out and sing... but no I only went in the aquarium to let my baby see the turtles, sting ray and fish. (Funky) lol.
