Sarina was so nice right from the start, and did an incredible job of somehow finding a shape in the two little caterpillars I'd been sporting for a couple years!  Despite the overgrowth, she managed to make the experience virtually painless, and while she took her time and I never felt rushed (like I do at some other threading spots), I still was out the door very quickly, with no angry redness on my face to reveal where I'd just been, so I could easily get on with my night. I sat down and she got right into the lash lift, didn't explain anything to me (it was my first time), didn't ask for color I wanted to tint them etc. she spoke in Spanish to her friend the entire time, and I could smell the hard boiled egg she had for breakfast on her breath the whole time. I think she assumed I could not understand Spanish, but I heard her talking to her friend about me and my hair color (redhead). At this point I mentioned that I wanted to tint my brows brown. However, I think I was too late because they are definitely black. They are not very curled at all, and she missed tinting the edges of my lashes. They are careful and have me double check every step of the way before continuing and if they have to do something they explain it before hand. But it's fantastic-- they work super fast, same great price for as long as I've been going, you come out looking great, you don't need an appointment or anything. I do recommend going on off hours - first thing in the morning on weekends for example - because there's usually nobody there so you can be in and out in 5 minutes. It can get really crowded on weekend afternoons. I want to address the claim that the ladies are rude because they speak in their own language. People speaking a language you don't speak are not necessarily doing so to secretly insult you. When I have been, they've been clearly just chitchatting about life, like humans. This is in a neighborhood where nobody really speaks English and Anglophones have to deal with us speaking Spanish all the time. There shouldn't be an issue when the shoe is on the other foot! This review is for eyebrows, I haven't really done any other service well enough to review. I think I had my upper lip done like 10 years ago and it was horribly painful but probably not more or less than anywhere else, just the nature of the skin there.

There were two employees working on a Friday around noon. Both were working on clients who were also getting their eyebrows threaded when I arrived, but it was only a short wait. When it was my turn, they didn't clean the chair before having me sit down so it didn't feel very sanitary. The threading service itself was satisfactory. My technician was very gentle and it felt more comfortable than other times I've had my eyebrows threaded. After she was done, she applied aloe without asking me if I wanted it on my face. They have their price list printed and posted on the wall. They also have an addendum sign that notes that the price for threading has increased from $7 to $10. I'm not sure why they didn't simply adjust the original price list instead of displaying two different prices, because it definitely caused confusion. The client in front of me originally paid $7 and an employee had to ask her for the additional amount. The client understandably pointed to the original price list on the wall and they had to explain that new prices were in effect. The other client ahead of me apologized to the woman who did her eyebrows because she didn't bring enough cash to cover tip and the new, higher price. So overall, I got what I needed done, but their customer experience could definitely use some improvements.
