Mr. David Vietto and I agreed in writing on a price to repair a sliding door in my condo. Mr. Vietto quoted $375.00, noting that the price might be lower depending on the complexity of the work. Instead of replacing the entire bottom track, they simply covered the damaged track with a piece of metal that costs no more than $45.00 at Home Depot or Amazon. The technician claimed that the bottom rollers on just one of the doors were replaced with new ones, though I cannot verify this, as the work was supposedly performed inside the service truck. So, I paid for labor $330.00 (?). In the end, I wound up paying $375.00 plus a 3.5% surcharge for using a credit card for a job that was overpriced and not actually worth it. Arthur Sailor Windows ONLY do repairs so they won't try to sell you windows you don't need. We were contemplating buying windows and this company fixed our broken locks, latches, cranks and balances for a tenth of the cost of buying new windows. Call these folks, you won't regret it. I highly recommend. The glass panel next to my front door got broken. I was concerned about it because it was built in with wood trim around it. Warren did a great job of explaining to me how he could fix it when he came out to do the estimate. Once the custom glass came in, I think it was David who called to schedule the install. Maybe it was a different David, but the one star review mentioned an unpleasant David. The person who called me was pleasant and professional. Warren came out and removed the old glass and installed the new glass, replaced the trim, and even fixed where there had been some rotten wood. It looks great! This is a small company with only two people, but I prefer that in most cases because they are usually more affordable. Nowadays, searching for good and reliable people to come out and do any kind of work is an ordeal. I've had so many of them not show up! I had a listing with a window that needed to be repaired before a closing so I called and left a message. Got a call back that afternoon and had them at my listing the next morning. Repair was done in literally 10 minutes! They were nice and very professional. I would definitely use them again in the future. If only all service calls were this painless. read more

spoke with David to try to set up an appointment to get some windows fixed. He was very rude and unwilling to help right off the bat. Told me my location was too far out of the way for him and I would have to wait weeks in order to get an afternoon appointment. With my schedule being limited I went for it. Never set an actual date, said he would call me sometime the first part of April to set it up. Calls leaving me three messages, all within a 2 hour span, stating that if I did not call him back my appointment would be canceled for the following day. An initial appointment was never made but insisted that if I didn't take this time I would have to wait another two weeks. he was very rude and demanding with his messages and ever worse on the phone when I actually spoke to him. I mentioned that you cannot expect people to be available without enough ample notice. Again an actual appointment was never made. His response was if I don't like it, find someone else and he hung up on me as he obviously did not want to hear what I had to say. The level of anger that he reached, his tone and unprofessionalism was completely unwarranted. The bottom line, if you work a customer service position that requires you to go to peoples homes, there is travel involved. I do not believe that going from Clearwater to St Pete is that unreasonable . Save yourself some time and aggravation and don't even bother calling this guy. My house was built in 1961. Yeah that long ago. The Florida room windows could no longer be replaced as the frame size is no longer made.
