Same service manager and when under pressure he got a little arrogant/take it or leave it type attitude/uncooperative. However they did fix our bike when no one else could and we appreciate that I'm glad we paid the $400. That said I know a lot of people have boycotted this place for many years but with the new ownership it's worth a second look. I, personally, will not be using Duck Creek Boat rentals again. A group of 7 of us rented a boat…read morefor 6 hours. The first boat that was assigned to the group, we learned quickly was unable to go above 3000rpms. We were unable to accelerate or the motor on the back of the boat would quite literally rock back and forth. After we called and returned the boat, they assigned us to a different boat. 30 minutes had already passed into our reservation and when we asked if our return time could be extended because we hadn't been able to enjoy the experience we paid for due to an error on their motor-craft, they were extremely reluctant and even tried to negotiate the return time with us. The second boat was unable to sit in idle. Anytime we would put the boat in idle, the motor would shut off entirely. When we tried to start the boat again, it would take 4-5 cranks before the motor would kick back on. Overall, I'm not convinced that the equipment is well maintained or monitored. I understand that it is a rental place, but I still think that the equipment that I'm paying over $100/ hour for should work properly.
