The first time I came here it was for bao, and they didn't have any. I was like whaaaaaaat?! Especially because I ran in the rain and convinced a workmate to come with me. The guy behind the counter said "no bao, come back in 2 weeks". So I grabbed a Banh Mi, gave him an extra few weeks after that to get his bao train back in action and popped back in.
Luckily for both of us, the bao express was back on the tracks and ready for me to board. I ordered 2 bao because I'm trying to watch my figure. One lemongrass chicken and one BBQ pork. Both were quite nice and for $6 it was a bargain lunch.
This was my first bao experience ever and I would have to say 'yeah nah not bad ay mate'.
Might get around town and try a few other bao places so I know what I'm comparing these to. I might even buy a skateboard and grow my beard longer and eat bao because it's what all the cool kids are doing. Cowabunga radical. read more
