Asking which of the dishes were specialty of the house, I was guided to pork rice noodle or pho. Chose the pho and was soon swooning. It is all about the stock and this was just perfect, light and beefy with a beautiful breath of anise. Adding the Thai basil, lime, coriander, diced chilli and bean sprouts it was gorgeous albeit the broad rice noodles are a bit slippery. The beef was pink, delicate and generous. As pho goes, it was up among the best. My companion had the Laksa which was also exceptionally good. Not too heavy. A trace of sweetness and a tiny ting of sour. Lots of goodies in among the noodles.
