If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First of all we ordered Pho,BBH and com tam suon bi cha. It took almost an hour for us to get our food. When we got our food they used the wrong noodle for the BBH. Then they gave me a plate of just rice and 2 pork chops. When we asked where the rest of the stuff was the owner got defensive and started cussing at us. We decided not to eat but to still pay for the waters that we did order. Food - 5/5. The banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) was incredible. The outside of the bread was crunchy, and the inside was soft. I took a bite in the car and ended up finishing it by the time I got home. Delicious! COVID precautions - 1/5. I ordered takeout but noticed that neither the chef nor the waiter wore a mask. I did not see any hand sanitizer available. Service - 5/5. The owner is super nice, and I can tell he works hard. I placed a takeout order over the phone and had to wait a bit for them to make the food once I got there, but they were thoughtful enough to offer me water as I waited. I have to say that I totally underestimated this place, but once I tried it I was very happy I did. The Fried Egg Rolls are great they remind me of one of my favorite restaurants from San Antonio, TX. The House Special Fried rice is also great and a must try! The Spicy Beef Soup is a sure pick as well, very flavorful and has just the right amount of spice to it. The only con if any would be that their isn't any free refills for the drinks. There are a few Pho options in Brunswick. This one is pretty good but a little oily, still delicious though. When I came in there was only one man running the restaurant. The man who runs the shop does it all (so be patient if it's busy) - he's your server, your chef, your cashier, and busser and does a great job managing all the different parts of his restaurant. I'm not from the Brunswick area but next time I'm heading to Florida, I will definitely make a point to stop here. My bf and I shared the egg rolls (super good) and we each got pho. He loved the rare beef and I had the spicy pho. Y'all, the spicy was SO good and flavorful but they are not messing around when they say spicy! Like another reviewer said, at first bite I thought it would be too spicy but I found myself craving the flavor after each bite. Quality, authentic, Vietnamese food in a humble yet bright and cheerful strip-mall space near the mall at Brunswick. The man and his family who own the restaurant are very friendly and nice, although when I asked for a glass of water one woman became very confused, instead bringing me first bottled water, then hot water, then after much discussion back and forth finally cold water in a glass with ice--which is what I desired. However, aside from all that, the food--a summer roll and pho with meatballs--was quite good. I've eaten a lot of Viet cuisine and cook it some at home, and this measured up as authentic and flavorful to me. My only real complaint was that service was, even beyond that one waitress, slightly confused and spotty, but overall the quality of the food certainly made up for that. We went there for lunch today. I guess it's coz of the best review (like me). There were many people there. But the restaurant owner did not know how to run the business. Wait for at least 15 minutes for someone to appear at the table. Wait for at least one hour for the food (just noodle soup). Many people left coz can't wait anymore. They didn't have time to take care of all customers but I saw one of them had time to take the pictures (may want to show social that they are busy). When my food came, the noodle is not well cooked (still hard inside) and wrong order with size of the bowl. I usually order small bowl and I cannot finish it. If you have eaten at the old place then you already know Mr. Sun has a leg up above all other Vietnamese places in town. The new location has the space enough for 12 tables and booths. One flat screen TV hanging amidst a lime green interior. He's got a server and a waiter out front, while he's got kitchen duties in the back. The food is worth the wait but be sure you have enough time to dine here. They still have some areas to work out with respect to speed and efficiency. But then again, there are many many places if you want fast food or your food done fast. A few extra minutes of wait isn't a problem with this eater at this place. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee which was tops. For an entree I had the vermicelli with sliced pork also very good. They also offer a variety of different juices and Asian drinks as well. Stopped by this little gem after touring a bit of Brunswick since we will be moving here soon due to work. Coming from Jax, there's a wide variety of Vietnamese/Pho spots there so I was pleasantly surprised to find a pho spot here in Brunswick. We were greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be the owner as well as the only one running it. We were still served in a decent amount of time, even though he was the lone soldier doing it all (serving, cooking, running the register). There were about 4 other couples in the restaurant eating that seemed to be regulars so you know that's always a good sign. I ordered the medium beef pho and my husband got the medium seafood pho along with spring rolls and iced Vietnamese coffee. Everything was priced less than $10 each for what we ordered. I know I will be coming back again as Pho is one of my favorite foods and the service was great. read more

I heard about this place at my nail salon, I seen their menu/brochure which was loaded with options. So we went, and were given a menu half the size with limited options. The food we ordered was however delicious, very authentic and was served quickly. It was a little inconvenient because they did not have a high chair so I had to hold my 1 year in my lap while trying to eat noodles, it wasn't easy but we managed. Always enjoyed my visit here. My favorite is the clear soup with shrimp only, cold/ spring rolls, iced sweet tea.

My only issue was that the waiter did not speak a lick of English, but hey I know so many places are short staffed, so I'll give them a pass on that.
