There are plenty of fun playhouses and an apparatus for kids to play and have fun. Adults can spent time strolling around and enjoying the greenery. There are benches and places to sit if you want to people-watch. It housed a ton of ribfest vendors. I can see why many events end up being held here. It's a perfect place to have fun and relax. Parking can be a bit of a problem if there is an event. I had first thought about parking at the Port Credit Library lot, but it was full. Side street parking was crazy. I ended up landing a spot at the Port Credit GO and walking over to the park. I'd love to come back to this park, unwind, and see what it's like without the ribfest activities happening. Erindale Park is located near Dundas and Missisauga road. It hugs the University of Toronto's Missisauga Campus (formerly Erindale Campus) and is a stone's throw away from the Mississauga golf and country club. The park is bifurcated by the Credit River which lends to the spectacular natural beauty of this place. You almost forget you're in a city populated almost entirely by customized Honda Civics and urban sprawl. I think it's a great place for a jog, a picnic, or "a wander" with a digital SLR. There are also built in BBQs for your convenience. And of course, because it's in Mississauga, there is a massive parking lot greeting you as you enter. Hurray! Unfortunately for us, we were so keen that we arrived a week early so only like 4 trees were in full bloom but the scenery was still beautiful nonetheless. There was a bridge running through the middle and a man-made pond as well (which was inhabited by ducks). Also plenty of benches across the walkways for ppl to sit. The bell was a nice touch in the middle of the park and the aesthetics are very calming and serene. As an FYI, there's tons of ppl taking vids and pics at this park. Location-wise very convenient because it's also situated near Square One shopping center nearby!

The park is in Oakville that kind of 1 hr from Toronto. The traffic today was not too bad, we followed GPS to a resident area that saying not able to access the park from there, we parked the car across the street, and walked along the trails. However, we walked about 30 mins, we got to a parking lot again that stating this one is the Lions Valley Parking Lot. That means the one we entered from was part of the park. But not the main entrance. Since we don't have too much time today, we couldn't finish the whole park visiting. If we can have a better sign to show the park from the difference entrance, that would be much better.
